The Site object does not exist Error

I am doing a Migration Job to enter Accounting Preposting date in to the Pre_Accounting View. I keep getting this “The Site object does not exist.” error.Does anyone know the reason for the error. I wish IFS error messages were a little more descriptive.

PO receipt Matching - Line not pulling through

Have a PO, which has been closed, with 4 receipts but when matching to invoice only 3 receipts pull through. Can’t see the 4th matched to any other invoice and it does show on receipt history, but can’t see any reason why I can’t get this 4th receipt to pull through?

IFS Year End Rollover

I am doing the year end rollover and when I run the “Clear Revenue / Cost Balances” it is coming up with the error message “Amount Balance is Zero”. Does anybody understand what this is telling me and how I can deal with this error message ? Thank you

Report Designer - Standard Translations

Hi all, I´m working on Apps 10 UPD8 and wanted to know if there is a way to translate the Standard fields for a specific report? These fields does not appear in the Cust-Layer after scanning the report. So it´s not possible to translate them. Is there a screen in Apps 10 where I can change the translations? IFS Cloud Remote Operating Model Hyper-V Support

Hi all, in the document “IFS Cloud 21R1 - Supported Deployment Product Policy” provided by this Topicwe can see that the support of the Virtualization Platform Hyper-V is planned in Q2 2021. We have a customer that we are currently upgrading to IFS Cloud. They are using Hyper-V as their virtualization platform. The virtual appliance can only be downloaded as an OVA file from the Customer Build Place.Is it possible to convert the OVA file to import it into Hyper-V?When is the support for Hyper-V actually planned and will there be another download option of the Virtual appliance in the Customer Build Place then? Is it possible to assign resources (tools/equipment) per number of task at once?

Hi, All!Customer has the situation, when the route is generated through the several PM Actions.This is possible using the merge functionality.So, user has one work order containing many work tasks from different Pm Actions.For this route maintenance team has to ask for some vehicle to arrive all the equipment objects on the route.Assigning the vehicle to each task separately not looks like the good idea.Is there any approach to do such resource assignment for whole work order or for number of tasks not making a lot of clicks?May be there is another functionality to register vehicle (or any tools) usage in maintenance process for such routes?Or user can register the trip for the route and somehow assign the usage of company's or his own car?The main point here is to map the route with vehicle/tools usage.And, the usability of process also does matter.Thanks in advance!

IFS Aurena - Context challenges

Hi all, We are working with IFS10, UPD9 setting up IFS Aurena and have run into two issues in regards to Contexts. A: Assigning context: For us, using Usergroup would be the best to use, but it’s not working due to a known Bug. But did anyone found out where to define “LEDGER” on an User? B: Default field:On My New Expense Sheet, we have made the Purpose mandatory. However, you can still create the Expense Sheet without the mandatory field being filled.Is this a bug, or is this a “bad design” and we will need to add some development to stop this from being possible?

APP10 GIS - not working after move from on prem server to Cloud server

Application Server Task for Quick Report and used mail sender

When I schedule a quick report via application server task, does someone know which mail sender is used in case of multiple mail sender exists? In custom events I have the possibility to choose the mail sender, but I haven’t found a similar option in application server task. Is there a chance to choose the mail sender?

Customer Contact Cleanup

Hello, We have had our system for awhile and we have created a bit of a mess with Customer Contacts. We have the same person tied to a Customer Record 3 times due to different Addresses. We’d like to cleanup these contact records which we can do from a CRM perspective by reopening BOs and switching the Contact to the appropriate one etc. However, we are running into an issue when the contact is on a customer order that is invoiced/closed or cancelled or a BO that is Cancelled. Is there a way to work around this issue? Additionally - Is there a better way to get these contacts out of the system? It would be idea to have a magic button that would say duplicate contact/merge record type of button to merge duplicate records together. We have a lot of this and as we use CRM more and more we want to keep our system clean as much as possible. Thanks,Carrie

Non inventory part. Prevent to generate stock quantities

Hello, I have created a non inventory part serialized that will be installed (product) on a customer site. In the part record : “serialized” is checked, “Part To Product” is checked, “adjust stock” is UNchecked. In my request, I have added a new Part Usage Line with my Non Inventory Part (Line code = installed), and at “Save”, a pop’up is displayed for Non inventory parts to allow the user to enter the serial number that has been installed on customer site (note that the serial number entered is unknown in FSM Database until we enter it in this pop’up (that is what is expected, good). After that, there is the product on customer site with this serial number. All is correct. BUT, for my Non Inventory part I can use Logistic Manager/ Miscellaneous adjustment and create a receipt for this part, with a serial number. Then, in Stock Search I find it, usable, quantity 1. ==> How, for a non inventory part I can prevent to generate stock quantities ?

IFS Apps 8 and Apps10 System Requirements

Hello,I am running Apps8 on windows 2012R2. My DB is currently running on a seperate VM. So, there is no shared resources between application and database.We are seeing that the Java Heap is getting very ful. After investigating we noticed that the Application default for Java Heap is 2gb. We are looking to increase it. However, the application server itself only has 8gb of RAM allocated to it. I am not wanting to increase the Java heap memory because it would be giving Java 50% of the servers memory.Question:What is the recommended system requirements (RAM) for IFS Apps8 and Apps10?Would increasing the java heap to 4gb help application performance at all?Thanks!

BR Execution Server Error

The following error appeared at 01:19 in the morning when hardly anyone was on the system.The report is scheduled to run.Template rendering Exception: Unexpected error while calling server method OrderXlrReport/SaveRenderedReport, Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.. Error not related to report design. Therefore report not saved to error folder. Last successful execution log entry: Template file ORDER_INTAKE_AND_SALES_V1_1(215169) closed Any ideas how I can get to the bottom of the “System.OutOfMemoryException” error?Thank you. John

FSM - SOAP Error message

Customer is receiving below error message. If they receive this error message, they are not able to log in to FSM. If they are already logged in, they cannot navigate because this message comes up. Exception in UICommunicationManager.SendMessage: An HTTP Content-Type header is required for SOAP messaging and none was found. client.State=Opened.Then suddenly the message goes away and they don’t have the problem for several months. This is duplicated only in PRD.How do we narrow this error down to resolve the issue?
