To set up SMB storage for a remote IFS Cloud 23R2 customer, we're configuring parameters in the ifscloud-values.yaml file. The SMB share was created by the customer’s IT team. We're aiming to ensure that the persistent volume (PV) and persistent volume claim (PVC) are released. How can we ensure they're in the "Bound" status?

How do you undo the scrapping of parts from the Inventory Parts in Stock page? In error serial 06b5cd13060669 was scrap using the button on this screen. The serial does not appear on this screen to allow you to undo.

Outbound file save with dynamic directories in FTP or DB server or any public directory

Hi,I have a requirement as below. This is IFS Application 10.Once the “Work Task” report is executed, the customer would like to save the pdf report and all the work task related attachments into the external FTP location or Database Server Location.But the thing is, all the documents should be saved in the dynamic directory. It means, based on the Order Number, the file out path will be changed and that path should be used as the new location to save the report output and the attachments. Is this possible in IFS application 10?Using customization, can we dynamically generate the out file locations and transfer the relevant files into that dynamic file location based on the Order Nos?

Customer Order: Use different tax code for same sales part

Hello All We are currently facing the following issue: The customer invoices after-sales activities to its customers from Work Orders. In this process, the same part is sometimes billed as a GOODS delivery type and sometimes as a SERVICES delivery type. The TAX configuration is the following:The tax code is settled on the customer address (Tab Tax delivery info), and distinguishes a tax code for GOODS and SERVICES deliveries (It is a French company billing in EU and Export).No tax code registered on sales parts (Tab General)However, the delivery type (GOODS or SERVICES) is registered on sales part (Tab General as well). Issue:When a customer sales order is issued from a Work Order, it is not possible to manually modify the the delivery type or the tax code on the order lines (to assign the convenient GOODS or SERVICEs tax code – EU or Export), since the tax code is determined both by the sales part (delivery type) and by the customer's address (tab Tax delivery info). Block planning or purchasing while executing MRP

We currently change the part status to “Suspend” in Inventory Part when Engineering has a change to execute and don’t want planning to be able to release shop orders.Unfortunately, it also blocks MRP from executing for that specific part number and we lose all visibility. Is there another way to block planning or purchasing but still executing MRP? We are in Apps 10 UPD 8.

IFS Report Designer - insufficient privileges to invoke this method

HiWe are trying to install and use IFS Report Designer on a server on our network to connect to our hosted IFS environment. We have a VPN tunnel between our data centre and our hosted environment.Note we are on on IFS APPS10 Hosted but not IFS Cloud.I have been able to install the client but when trying to connect I get the error below:“You don’t have enough privileges to invoke this method” I’ve raised with IFS Support who have advised me to ask the Community.Has anyone seen this error before or can advise as it’s not clear what privileges? - For our hosted environment do we need particular access to the server (e.g. IFS Citrix) to run this? - We have VPN connection to the server but not sure if this is enough to access what we need? - Are there any other things we need to look at (certificates/IFS permissions etc.)? I’ve tried logging in as both IFSAPP and IFSADMIN.Any thoughts welcomed.

In IFS cloud (23R2), Can we add name of the Part Number when extracting a product Structure in excel format as it was in IFS 8. when we are working with multiple structures at the same time and when exporting them in excel there is no information anywhere. Synchronisation Service Notes from MWO to Cloud

Hello, I have a problem with the synchronisation of Service Notes from MWO to Cloud in 23R2. I am able to see in Cloud the changes made to the notes in MWO only after initializing MWO. Hi all,How can I find the name of the fields I need to reference in ETM via dot notation? For example, if I am in a datamapper where the assyst Resource is Event I would reference the outbound value of the Event id as outbound,self.id. If I want to reference the status I would use outbound.self.eventStatusEnum. This is not obvious to me. I would think it would be outbound.self.status or something similar. What I am looking for is a reference guide or any way to find every attribute of every object.Thanks.Trevor

I have a Custom Logical Unit and I want to add an LOV field to it that displays a list of all employees. I know how to do that; using a custom field I can add a restricted reference that selects from a view.However I need it to be a view that displays all employees but does not require admin privileges.I am using IFS EE 10. Hi,Has anyone developed a quick report or something similar to generate a dynamic projected revenue for a given service contract? This is for projected revenue and not the actual revenue. Invoice Handling

Hi All, As a company we are looking to see about the automation of supplier invoices, we receive a large percentage of our invoices through email in PDF format, and looking to see if there is a program/ procedure that would take the pdf and enter the relevant information automatically into IFS. We would need the pdf read to pick up invoice number, supplier name, purchase order etc. At this point we don’t want the invoices matched to the po we just need them registered on IFS to reduce manual entry. Part Cost Group and Override Template/Cost Set

Can anyone clarify how does the Part Cost Group and the Override Template/Cost Set works and should be defined? We have defined 4 Part Cost Groups: each contains manufactured and purchased parts. Is it ok?If we want to use the M-110 Cost template for manufactured parts and P-130 (averaged) for purchased parts. Should we put that in the header part of the Part Cost Group or in the Override?Should we have anything defined in the Override Template/Cost Set? When should this be used? Does it apply to all parts contained in that particular Part Cost Group? Why would you use the Override instead of changing the parameters in the header of the Part Cost Group? We are using IFSAPP10.

IFS Business reporter - invoice date range

Please see my attached files. I want to be able to filter >= &invoicefrom from my report. Settlement Period From is invoice date. Sample, 05.02.2024 from db format is date, month, year from value list. In Filter Criteria, when I set invoice =& invoicefrom (like 05.02.2024) is returns data as expected. However, if I set to >=&invoicefrom (like 05.02.2024) it returns the whole data, which I don’t need. How can this issue be corrected? Eventually, I want to set my report like invoice >=& invoicefrom and invoice <=& invoiceto. Thank you in advance.
