I have a fixed asset that was imported with the incorrect acquisition date and couple of depreciation have already been run. What are my options to correct this? Rollback depreciation and deactivate object and create a new object with correct acquisition date ?
Hello, I have a problem with the synchronisation of Service Notes from MWO to Cloud in 23R2. I am able to see in Cloud the changes made to the notes in MWO only after initializing MWO. Hello,We have created an embedded work space for Power BI and can by some settings find reports available in the element designer phase.But if we want to find the details for a report we have no permissions.What settings or Permissions is required to acces the Element Designer for Power BI-elements?We have tried all the permission sets in IFS and the user also has access to the report in Power BI service.Does anyone have a guideline for this or know what’s missing?
We have following problem with a workflow which does not trigger from a mobile app.We created an event on the ReceiptInfo table (on change of rowstate) If we do a receipt in Aurena / Wadaco in the browser The event triggers The workflow triggers.When we use for example the SCANIT app to do a receiptWe see the event triggers But the workflow does not trigger? We have set the workflow as async so wondering how we can debug it and how the workflows work together with the mobile apps? Hi All,Qantas currently has an open issue with IFS for Job Card Steps with “special” characters causing HTML formatting on the Task Card report to fail. This can also cause job card steps to appear to have been edited when using show differences however it is not apparent to the task writer what has been changed.It looks like it is caused by some character encoding conversion when a task is revised. This is only an issue since we moved to 8.3SP5, possibly related to the data type change of the step_ldesc to CLOB. Generally this is caused when content is copied from an MS office application that has tried to be helpful and replace a " with a “. When the task is revised, this character is replaced with a space and an ascii DC3 character(0x19). Its these control characters that cause the Jasper reports to stop trying to apply the formatting correctly.We’re interested to learn if other operators, especially those with languages that use characters not in the latin-1 character set, hav
Hi,I am working for a customer who is upgrading from IFS9 to IFS Cloud.What I want to achieve is to get the Map Position set on the Work Order and to forward this to the Work Task. So I tried that but the Work Task does not inherit the Map Position. I have tried multiple settings in the Object Transformations.These are the settings I used (first only with JtTask and ActiveSeparate and later with WorkOrder) Can someone tell me what needs to happen to achieve what I want?

Hi, We have an extract rule on a custom table for mobile that doesn’t appear to be triggering any data out to mobile.A record is getting created. The extract rule for the table looks the same as other tables that are working just fine (e.g PART_NEED).The sync rule looks fine, again as above no different to what we have for PART_NEED.However when a record is created nothing is happening in terms data created to MM_MESSAGE_OUT for mobile to pick up. What can I use to be able to root cause why? i.e. server logging.Or is there a generic have you remembered to do ‘x’? Any directions would be greatly appreciated. RegardsyAdt
We are in the beginning stages of a migration from an AS400 ERP to IFS Cloud. I’m an enterprise software engineer who is new to the IFS world.Our current warehouse shipping process involves a piece of custom software that screen-scrapes from an AS400 terminal session into a Windows application called ClipperShip. This software handles all the carrier specific logic, including printing labels, etc., then another piece of custom software gets the data out of ClipperShip and back into the AS400 ERP.We would like our new solution to be as simple as possible for warehouse employees. Ideally it would be completely web-client based. We have started evaluating some API-based shipping solutions like ProShip and ShipEngine. Hi,We have a customer issue that the GIS map is not available after setting the location (Service Management> Service Management basic data> Location>Location ) in 23R2. Furthermore, when RMB location is in map position, click inspects and then clicks the Document (location link), error 504 appears.Customer’s EnvironmentError 504-Document Location link But when we do this for the same location in our core environment (23R2 – Alain login) GIS map loads without an issue (Kindly refer to the attached image) and error 504 does not appear when opening the location link. Further, we change the False to True in GIS Settings, Show_Log but the error is not recreating.Core environment 23R2 Kindly let us know the possible reasons for the above-mentioned issue. Thank you
