Shop Order SUBCONTRACTING transaction cost calculation

Hello Community,We are using IFS 9.I have a question for labor and operation trasactions. for subcontracting transaction -WIPFROMSUB normally Material cost is getting added if it is the first subcontracting transaction. But I have found that for 4 transaction there was material cost added in this transaction.but for last two transactions its manufacturing cost comprises of Material cost plus subcontracting cost. I want to know why this subcontracting cost is getting added particularly for these last two transactions and how it getting calculated. there were two Subcon operations happened .no in-house operation.so the sequence is 1st operation -WIPTOSUBSUBCONTRWIPFROMSUB 2nd OperationWIPTOSUB 1st operation -SUBCONTRWIPFROMSUB 2nd OperationWIPTOSUB 1st operation -SUBCONTRWIPFROMSUB 2nd OperationWIPTOSUB 2nd OperationSUBCONTRWIPFROMSUB 2nd OperationSUBCONTRWIPFROMSUB 1st operation -SUBCONTRWIPFROMSUB here material cost Plus subcon cost added. before for 1st operation only material

SC Matrix for Site default ship via not applied to DO

Hi brains trust, any idea why the default ship via from the Supply Chain Matrix for Site is not applied to the Distribution Order? The intersite flow for the DO is set up correctly, internal customer ship via is the same as the Matrix ship via, yet that one is not applied to the DO. The Matrix should overwrite the int customer ship via anyway, I’ve understood, but for some reason a different ship via comes up. There are no Exceptions on that line/ship via in the Matrix, no Supply Chain Part Group on the part no that was used. Any good ideas where to check next, where does the ship via come from if not from the Matrix? Thank you

Putaway Label

Community,would like you to share the experience on this.using WADACO, perform goods receiving, then it needs to perform putaway. question here, do we need to develop a label, so as to stick onto the package, hence the WADACO could be able to pick it up? on WADACO, START WAREHOUSE TASK, it only show the task id on the handheld. I am wondering if we don’t attach a task ID outside the package, how the warehouse worker, at ARRIVAL location, among so many received goods, how he/she could be able to identify which package should be putaway? Thank you.

Applying IFS Global Extension to Apps10

Hi Everyone, I am working on task to apply GET Apps10 version to customer code line, who is on Apps10 UPD13. Installation guidelines document from https://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/GlobalExtension mentions that GET can be either retrieved from ‘Ext Archive’ or from LCS. If I want to create harvest extractor file for UPD13 version from LCS using ‘http://lcs.corpnet.ifsworld.com/login/secured/buglnw/IfsApplicationUpdateOvw.page’ , will it include cumulative files from GET base version and up to UPD13. I used to follow this approach while applying GET for Apps9 customer. But document says to get RTM version + required UPD version. Other option is to extract GET files using ‘Config Builder’. Once config builder is run and I assume that we can take files from all folders under ‘Components’ and check into harvest and build delivery through solution developer. If there is a detailed document, please let me know from where it can accessed. Thanks for the help.

Printing multiple shipment handling unit labels at once

Hi Everyone, I’m new to this forum and I’m told I might be able to have my question answered. Does anyone know if there is a way to print multiple shipment handling unit labels at once out of IFS Aurena Apps 10? See below image: I am at my shipment handling unit structure screen where have all 6 handling units highlighted and when I click on Preview, I only see a PDF file with only one of my shipment handling units. I haven’t connected my printer to IFS yet and have been printing out single documents through my browser after hitting preview. Having said that I’m wondering if I would answer my question if I connected a printer to IFS? Within the report & output window you can select which handling unit to print but that does not really help. Any kind of assistance is greatly appreciated so thank you in advance!

Validation XML with or without max rows

Will there be a performance impact if a validation XML is used without max rows? Let’s say the hierarchy select in the validation XML generates thousands of records. Will it be beneficial to limit it to just one (or the first) row?In SQL, it’s typical to use a top X statement to minimize any performance impact.

I'm seeing the copy rows functionality in Aurena but not the paste after I copy

I see the copy rows functionality in three different databases, but when I copy I don’t see the paste to be able to use it. I thought maybe it was a projection not set but I don’t see that in all three db’s. Any ideas?

Scheduled BR Reports Not Executing

We have a handful of BR reports scheduled to run each night through the BR Execution Server.The reports often get stuck in “Rendering in Progress” status.When this happens, we restart the BR software and it begins working again temporarily, but will error again after several days.We are using IFSAPPS10 UPD8. Has anyone else experienced this? How can we get our scheduled BR reports to run daily without regular errors? Below is a screenshot from the Execution Server Admin Console showing several reports in Rendering in Progress status that started at midnight, and a screenshot of the error log detail for one report. Prevent Over Receive of Shop Order

Hi All, I am attempting to prevent a user from over receiving a shop order qty that is greater than the completed qty on the operation steps. I have tried using Milestone Operation (on the first Op step) and also tried setting Operation Over Report to Not Allowed. However, I am still able to shop order receive over the amount that has been reported on the actual operation steps. Is there a way in IFS to prevent this behavior? Thank you!

Attribute Value Visibility in Group Consolidation (Master Co.)

Hi,you are exactly right, the original question had nothing to do with GL Balance Analysis. My question is, is there functionality in IFS Apps to pull Attribute data into the Master Company like Balance Set. There is existing functionality in IFS to pull in the Balance Set information to the Master Company via Reporting Entities. Ideally this would be a native field in the Customer record, but I have been unable to find something appropriate. We are considering a custom field, but would prefer to avoid it. About region settings

Hi, If the computer regional language setting isn't english united kingdom, we try to create order proposal and getting error. If I change region to Enlish UK it is running. How can I resolve this situation.I have same prolem in executing migration job. That need same setting too.In our company, end user don’t want to change it. So I need to resolve that.

Calendar based PM Action

Hello ! I work on IFS Aurena and IEE. I was wondering when you generate a maintenance plan with a calendar base PM Action, the WO will be generated on the due date automatically (by a background job), or the user have to generate by the screen Calendar Generation each week for example? If so, could we program a Calendar Generation automatically ? Thank you !

Kanban Automated Replenishment

HiCan anyone tell me why i am getting the message below when i run a Kanban Reorder Point Request?The Reorder point is set at 10 L and the quantity of stock available within the Kanban location is 9 L, i would expect it to generate a transportation task for 10 L to be supplied to the Kanban location.i can only get it to replenish the supply to location if the available stock quantity falls below 1 L and then it generates a transportation task to move 20 L from location A into the supply location. Time Clock with card reader

Hi, we entered a card reader to a time clock in IFSCloud.If I clock in by typing in the EmpNo the clocking is in the time card. If we use the card reader, there is not clocking in or out. If we use the card reader for name we get the right employee, but the data are still in LOV not directly in the field:What is the trick, to get the cardnumber after reading through the card reader, directly into the Employee-field and an ok? The employee has a schedule, is a time clock user and the card is connected to the right employee.

How are Suppleir credits supposed to be handled in IFS?We have a PO for 3 Parts. All 3 parts were processed through register Arrivals, but during receipt 1 of the Parts was returned for Credit.So we ahve an invoice for 3 Parts and a cedit note for 1, but can’t process these against the PO and get them to balance.

Hi,Is it possible to use ISO20022 payment format for employee expense sheet payments? Unfortunately I cannot find it in Apps9. Idea is to use ISO20022 which is already being in use to pay supplier payments but would like to use it for Employee payments as well. Please advise. Thank YouNimesh
