How to align the top-level of a BoM

Hi all, I’m scheduling an entire product, to be manufactured from scratch, with MRP (Apps 10) and APB.How can I plan the upper levels of the bill, i.e. the assembly parts, to start only when the component pieces are projected to be available based on their CBS scheduled finish dates. So, the shop order for part .’..GA’ has an Earliest Start (as found in the header of the order) of much greater than whenever the requisition was accepted. Typical product:Level 0 = General AssemblyLevel 1 = Sub-assembliesLevel 2 = Piece Part Requirements Our capacity constraints are in making the piece parts (L2) which are time-consuming operations. Hence, I need to finitely schedule that list of parts in APB based on resource loading then, schedule the upper-levels to start based on the projected availability of L2. Tying materials with ‘Operation No.’ in ‘Product structure’ doesn’t provide assistance because the resulting action messages are downwards-looking. Early/Late Order actions would be among

FSM6 u6 Customer Portal Dashboard/Lobby

Can anyone help with this please? In our Customer Portal configuration we have selected a ‘Lobby only Dashboard’. However when you login on a new browser you still get the standard dashboard. If you open up a new browser tab and login again with the same account, you get the Lobby. So you get the assigned lobby on all logins except the very first one! Anyone have any idea why?

Amounts of rows in table where 90% of all data is 0

We are working with the Project Resource Forecast functionality in IFS and we have bumped into a potential issue with the the amount of rows in the table PROJECT_RESOURCE_SPREAD_TAB. We have ~250 million rows in this table and 90% of all data is 0.We have thousands projects on the go and I am concern about reporting performance when pulling data from the associated table/view if we start using this functionality.Any comments and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Many thanksMiguel

Spinning wheel on Order or Quotation line save

Hello All,Since 9/18/2020, about half the time a line is saved on a Customer Order or Sales Quotation we receive a spinning wheel. IFS Apps9, update8 Managed Cloud Services We haven’t found any consistency or reason behind it. Aurena - UK BACS file location

In Aurena, the BACS file is dropped on the default download location for the users browser, unlike EE where can file path can be specified. This isn’t secure or consistent. Anyone found a solution to this either in the application or using any external software to move the file maybe with a script? Thankyou.

Excel Add In MIgration Custom Field

Hello,I am trying to create a migration job to migrate data into custom fields in the inventory part. I have found several topics in the forum here to assist with this but I’m still running into some issues that I haven’t been able to resolve. I can query the data and pull it properly into Excel, but when I try to Validate or Execute the migration I’m getting this error and don’t know how to resolve it. I’ve attached the error log. I have tried using both the Cf_New__ and Cf_Modify methods but get the same error. This is my migration job: I have also tried this FETCHCONDITION I have used the attached documents from the forum, but I’m missing something. Thank you in advance,Joann

IFS Print Service Errors

Hi AllWe are on IFS Apps 10 and have recently tried to add a new logical printer to IFS. This is our first time adding a new printer. Our Application and Print Servers are separate to spread the load with the print server hosting all print and reporting services.On our Print Server we have completed:Installed the Printer Drivers and created a Print QueueUpdated the config file (ifs-printagent-config.xml)Restarted the Print Service (IFSPAService_IFSL)Within the Application we have:Created the new logical printer with the same name/ case as the print queue on the print server and what is in the config file (e.g. TESTPRINTER1)Attempted to print a report.On the Print Jobs screen in IFS we get the following error:“The Print Job can not be printed. ATP to include planned Purchase Requisitions

Is a setting available that can include planned Purchase Requisitions as expected supply when calculating the ATP in in a customer Order Line? The MRP runs once a week and Purchase requisitions are not all followed up the first day. This results in customer order lines moved to a later date (when the availability check is set on the inventory part) as the purchase requisition dates are not considered.

Customer Order shipping query URGENT

Hi Members, I have a doubt here:A part has a stocking unit of measure of “EACH”. A case is made up of 12 each. Scene 1: Customer ABC orders 4 eaches, and the order is shipped for 4 eaches. Scene 2: Customer XYZ orders 1 case and the order is shipped for 1 full case. In this situation, the system should ship a complete case and not split it into eaches. Is this possible? How do the parts need to be setup? Is there additional setup need for parts like unit of measure etc.

Currency Rate entered incorrectly

The currency rate for a certain day was entered incorrectly. The rates for USD and EUR were reversed. I have several customer invoices that I need to correct. What is the best way to do this? I went into the customer invoice and entered the correct rate in currency rate correction. Then I tried to create a correction invoice, but nothing happened. The background job has a warning that says the Invoice ID does not exist in Company 14. I’m not sure why it isn’t working, because I’ve done this before.
