Apps9: Restricted/Extended support - Is anyone choosing to stay on Apps9 or earlier rather than taking extended support or upgrading??

We are at the beginning of the upgrade journey but having only been on Apps9 for 2 years the business are a little reluctant on upgrading.Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same, and if anyone is choosing to remain on restricted support or do they pay to uplift to extended beyond the IFS product lifecycle?

Dears;I created mixed payment , it’s voucher type is N.I canceled the mixed payment, and system created new voucher with negative sign.is it possible tochange system setup to create voucher for the cancel process with different voucher type. oradding the original voucher number in the reference no field of cancel voucher

Prepayment Based Debit Invoice correction

Dear All, we got a prepayment from the customer. We connected this prepayment to a customer’s order and issued a Prepayment Based Debit Invoice (PREPAYDEB). The customer resigned and we have to make a correction invoice now. The problem is that it is not possible to issue a “correction invoice” for the Prepayment Based Debit Invoice (PREPAYDEB) which we have issued. When we right click on the header of the invoice, the option of making a correction invoice is grayed out.It is only possible to issue a credit invoice which is unfortunately not an option.Does anyone know how to handle this? (How to make an option of invoice correction available)Thanks for your help.

Hello, I wanted to change the translation of a field in the "Text Translation" screen: "Pays" to "Pays123".I then refreshed the language cache.When I go to the concerned screen, my field is still not translated: Is it necessary to make other manipulations?Thanks in advance!

Time authorisation options

Hi forum, I created to end-user permission sets for Time Authorisation. One for Attendance by the line manager, one for Project Time Reporting by the projectmanager. In the authorisation popup window there are 2 checkmarks. Does anybody know where in the permission sets, I can turn one off so the 2 created permission sets can only authorize their own hours?

Unable to send emails using SMTP from IFS APP

We are facing problem while sending email from IFS app installed on MS Azure. Recently we moved onprem email services to Office 365. We have tried many options and configuration but couldn’t send email from IFS App. Need your help and guide how can we resolve this problem. We have opened Ticket with Microsoft and they asked us to Update TLS 1.2 or higher because sending email need TLS 1.2 or higher version. We are facing problem while sending email from IFS app installed on MS Azure. Recently we moved onprem email services to Office 365. Hi,Is it possible to handle Xref files in IFS Cloud 22R1 Document Management ? Is it possible to open xref file and also edit xref files (example: Xreffed drawings) using IFS document management functions (ex: Edit document) and reflect the changes on Master file? Service Contract Credits

When an order is created from a service contract but we determine it was created in error, what is the best way to back this out? Right now the only thing we can do is post the invoice, then perform a credit and then re-enter the service contract. Thanks!

Inter-site or Distribution Order

Hello, We have an example as below and not sure the most appropriate solution.Site A usually manufactures an item. On occasion due to capacity it is purchased from site B Site B is different company / site in IFS Site A will send all materials for the job to Site BIdea 1The business is already familiar with using distribution orders. However, as the item is manufactured on site A most of the time, shop order requisitions are created. These can be converted to purchase requisitions, but not to a distribution order as far as I can tell? The only way to generate the distribution orders is to manually create or switch the part to ‘purchased’ as default? Idea 2A new concept to the business would be to use inter-site orders using the ‘send’ functionality. This would allow them to leave the part as manufactured and switch to purchase requisition, from which they can then send. We then get the PO/CO although we have to manage the sending when any changes occur. I’m unsure which is the most ap

Monthly Income Statement

I am trying to create a monthly income statement from consolidations, but consolidation only has cumulative balances vs. monthly. Is there a quick way to create a report with just the monthly activity for the income statement? If not, is there a plan to have in the future period balances and cumulative balances in consolidations?

Time Authorization

Hello,fairly new to IFS so bare with me. Is there an area in IFS app10 where a manager can authorize all worker time entries with one click? Lobby?for example: 7 different mechanics report into several different active tasks, and close. The manager/supervisor doesn’t have to go to each separate task to approve time does he? One time Supplier information on Supplier ledger

Have noticed on the Posting Proposal screen for an invoice which is against a Supplier that is set up with details on ledger that there is the ‘One-Time Specific Information...’ option when RMB on this screen. This appears to allow us to enter new details, Name/address/bank details etc, on a Supplier account that is already set up? Why would that option be available and what would it be used for?

FSM - Data Member Specified by 'column name' cannot be found

Hi,We have created a custom table and when creating a new record all is fine, apart from one small issue.One of the columns in the table is called ‘expiry_dt’. This column has been set with a ‘dateonly’ mask type. When we try to save a value in this column we get an exception of; <system_error> <severity>ERROR</severity> <message>Data member specified by expiry_dt cannot be found.</message> </system_error>I have created numerous custom tables in the past. Never seen this error before. Searching the community I can see this topic; which references the same error. No comments on that yet, so though I would ask with a different angle to it. Anyone else seen this, or can assist with what the exception is telling me. RegardsAdy

Error when there are too many rows in PO receipt

Hi, we get below error when user run PO receipt that contains more than 50 rows but less than 100 rows. Do you know if there is some “limit” to how many rows there are allowed in PO to avoid this problem? Thank you! Best regards,Erla Sandholt
