Hi,i added a custom field ‘Sx_Vlov_payment_term’ referencing a another table on the ‘CustomerInfo’ set.According to the post: lov filtering Post i try to configure the datasource.but i don’t have access at the datasource , i ‘he only the ‘Datasource entity set’ and i can’t modifiy it.

XML Maps - Dynamic URL

I would like to know if It’s possible to use a dynamic URL as an endpoint of an outgoing message. For example, doing the configuration of the message using the ‘Message Routing’ (next image), I need to use a URL that will change depending on same variables (in a ideal scenario this variables would be defined on the same XML type Business Rule, that call this outgoing message). I am trying to call a URL that has a service and it has this format => “http//URLHOST /field1=X,field2 = Y” do you know if I can achieve this by using the XML maps and Routing Message Rules ?

Manufacturing Labor Class Linked to Person

We somehow managed to connect a Manufacturing Labor Class to a Resource that has a resource type of “Person”. This prevents us from assigning a true person resource to the labor class, creating an error message that says, “Resource Type Person cannot be parent to Resource Type Person”. We cannot break this linkage and create a correct resource connection after so many trials and errors. Any help is appreciated.

Supplier check cash/print error

Dear All, I get this error when I try to print the supplier check. This erroneous voucher number cannot be searched and does not exist in the system. When we debug(Check from the back end) it says only credit balance is creating for the new voucher.In some cheques for the same voucher number another transaction was recorded already. (Same voucher function group U)All the related posting controls, voucher types, voucher series were configured accordingly. Your help really appreciated. RegardsNaadira

PMRP not generating requisitions for components of a manufactured part

… and I am trying to find out why when:The demand comes from a work task (on a work order) which is project connected We run PMRP per activity (for all activities within the project) PMRP generates a shop order requisition for the top part (demand from work task) But no purchase requisitions for the components In MRP part information for the components, the gross requirement is 1 but net requirement 0 so it seems it “sees” the demand from the top part No MTRs generated, no stock Structure is buildable, components are not standard planned Structure phase in is way back in time and no phase out dateSo what are we missing? Any ideas? We are running IFS Cloud 22R2.

See the number of licenses on an IFS Cloud environment

Hello, I would like to know if there is a screen like on APPS10 that allows you to see the total number of licenses on an IFS Cloud environment?I know there is the "License metrics" screen on Cloud, but I can't find the information on this screen.Thanks in advance.

How to deactivate "Duplicate Check" when creating and updating customers

Hi We are migrating huge amount och customer data (28000 customers) in IFS10 UPD6 usend FNDMIG and that process is taking huge amount of time. It seems that “Duplicate Check” process is the problem and since we don’t need that check (data is already checked for duplicated) we wants to deactivate that (duplicate check). Is that possible?I unchecked “Active” flag on “Duplicate Check Action Setup” and “Duplicate Check Rule” but that has no effect (duplicate check is still preformed). Neno Solaja

Suggestions - Client wants visibility to assets that are in service - globally

Hi, IFS has multiple asset related tools. Looking for suggestions on the following. I can’t get into details else you will know the client. Client has a vision for the future, where they have visibility to all assets, the content / configuration of all assets. Assets can be located globally. Assets would be owned by the client as well as owned by other agencies. Number of assets would be large, probably several hundreds of thousands. Vision is the ability to know the configuration of an asset before a service technician steps on site for a repair or enhancement. Part of the business is managing these assets in terms of service, upgrades, repairs. Knowing the configuration of all these assets would be very helpful for increasing up time (consider most assets as critical to the safety operation). Suggestions would be very helpful, I have my ideas, but that’s just based on what I already know. This will be for a future effort, so this would include IFS Cloud version / not limited t

Mail Reader with OAuth2 Support for APP10

Since Microsoft has deprecated the Basic authentication from 31-Apr-2023 for Office 365, IFS Mail reader was stopped working. IFS has provided a patch to support OAuth2 Authentication to solve this issue. We have installed the patch and registered the application in Azure. Custom Event - How can we defer an action after triggering the event?

I am trying to find a way to defer an action after an event has been triggered. Does IFS have the option to delay an action for a specific amount of time after the event has been triggered?For example - When the event gets triggered due to a change in the Business Opportunity status, then tell IFS “hey wait an hour, then call the first action” or is there something similar to Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call where we tell oracle “hey wait an hour then run that pl/sql procedure call into the background”?

Fetch Authorisation Rule?

Is it possible to setup IFS Cloud to automatically Fetch the Authorisation rule when we create a Purchase Order. For 99% of our cases the individual raising the PO will approve it. So the extra steps of clicking Fetch Authorisation Rule seem a little cumbersome.

Application installed release versus database installed release

Is there a way to compare application installed release with database installed release?IFS Apps 10 Test environment: We want to prove the following is correctIFS Applications MWS Home - Release 10Production environment:IFS Applications MWS Home - Release 20 Oracle database files - Release 20We have a copy of IFS Application installation files taken to a specific release. We have used these files to install a new MWS Home, this is our Test environment. Our Production environment is at release 20, both application and database file. We will clone the Production Oracle database to Test Oracle database. The result is that application installed files on Test environment are at release 10, but database installed files will then be at release 20.We can run the following query and this confirms which releases have been applied to the database. DebriefCustomerReview and DebriefReview screens were not added to custom design created by customer

Hi Experts , One of our customer cannot able to see DebriefCustomerReview and DebriefReview screens in their custom designs These screens were added as enhancement of UPD 17 release . There they mentioned that this will visible as inactive screen in custom design “New Customer Review (DebriefCustomerReview) and Summary (DebriefReview) screens have been added to replace the deprecated DebriefCustomerSignature and DebriefSignature screens. The new screens are active in the workflows and workflow menus of the baseline mobile design and the deprecated screens are inactive.”As per RND suggestion earlier we requested customer to tick these (mpm upgrade and sync rules )two when they run mobile installer please review the image below (image1 )image1 Even after these customer cannot be able to see those custom designs , please review image2 to see how customer’s custom design shows image2 Please provide any suggestions to overcome this issue please Thanks and Regards Shobana

Supply Code 'Purch Ord Trans' orders not having pick lists created for them

Hello,I currently have a Database Task set up so Consolidated Pick Lists for Customer Orders get created automatically when they are available for creation. This database task runs ever 2 minutes to check for new orders, and works for all orders except the orders that have the Supply Code ‘Purch Ord Trans’ in their order lines. Why is this happening? Even after we get a purchase order and inventory in, they still do not automatically get created.Any advise or insight would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan
