default conditional values

Is it possible to make a field default to a values if another field is conditionally true?I have tried messing with conditional fields but it doesn't default the fields value. It just doesn't allow you to save the vale unless it matches the rule.

Quick Customer Order Registration

Hello colleagues, this new Quick CO Registration is great!Have you figured out how and why the default email from the customer basic data (Address/Sales Address Information/Customer Contact) does not populate here? It needs to be manually entered and would be cool to have it appear here automatically: I have the default email saved in the customer basic data with the correct address ID. Account setup has to navigate to many screens

Hi all, Currently using IFS Cloud, to onboard a new employee our IT department must navigate to upwards of a dozen separate screens. (Setup Permissions, add them as a salesperson, add document management, etc).Previously in Apps 9 there was a single screen that handled all of this, that had dropdowns for each of the categories. Unfortunately I do not have a screenshot, but it was under the User creation screen. In Cloud, all of these screens are separated and there is no 1 view of the user account as a whole. Is there any view similar to the one in apps 9? Or would this have to be built out as a customization? Thanks,Matt

Apps 10 application Server Requirement & Oracle 19c database server requirements

Hi All,We are currently using Apps 10 UDP 9 + Oracle 19c database in Windows Server 2012. Since the Microsoft support for server 2012 is getting closed on March 2023. We are planning to upgrade our servers to latest windows server 2022.But I believe Ifs portal says Windows server 2019 as the recommended version.In this case, can we use 2022 for our IFS Apps 10 UDP 9 application and database servers, is there a major instability for the application server if we use windows 2022?Kindly give your valuable suggestions.Thank You,Satish

Character limit in fields (for calculations)

Curious why IFS limits characters here? I get a 15-18 character limit for the actual / final value (in this case would be 36, but it’s a bit limiting to have a feature that allows for in-place arithmetic but with short limits into the actual text box (25-50 would be more appropriate). A use case would be a calculation like 120000.37 + 12111.75 → which is not allowed because of the current character limit. this particular place is in the manual voucher entry page but we can see this occur in other places as well.

Customize Error Messages

We use project connection for all PO lines, and if somebody forgets to connect a line to a project activity, the resulting error message says “Code Part xx must have a value...” because this is the first error the system finds when checking the pre posting.For our users this does not make much sense, so I would like to change the text to something like “PO Line must be connected to a project activity”.Does anyone know how this can be done?

IFS Cloud 22R2 - Calling a third Party REST API with OAuth2

Hi All,Assume we need to call a third party REST API with OAuth2.How do we do this using Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Json or using similar methods in package Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.There are parameters http_req_headers_,query_parameters_ and also auth_params_ in these methods so I guess it can be a combination of above parameters OR just using auth_params_.Does anyone have an example on how to do this?i.e. How do we specify values related to oAuth2 authorization?UPDATE:I found that this can be achieved by using Routing Address. There should be a way to handle this in the code as well but still not sure how to do it.

Cloud 22R2 - Surveys/eForms in mWO Service

Hi,In IFS Cloud, I’ve created a Survey with Workflow Type as ‘Work Assignment’ and added it to a Workflow Configuration with Configuration Type as ‘Work Task’.In Workflow Configuration, selected the Mandatory option for Surveys as shown below.In mWO Service, I’ve added answered the Survey questions and while trying to Complete the Work Assignment, I get the below error. If I uncheck the Mandatory option, I do not get this error. Shouldn’t it check if the user has already answered the Survey at least once and allow to Complete/Incomplete/Cancel the Assignment?Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

My new expense sheet: drop-down list

Hello, Does anybody know how to block a drop-down list in IFS Cloud?For example, in the screen “My new expense sheet” I want to block the user to select another department or expense rule from the drop-down list that IFS suggests:Normally, an employee should not change the department in expense sheet, the department should come from the employee file. Right now as an employee I’m able to see the entire list of the departments that exists in company and select whatever department I want. Thanks,Cristina

External Supplier Invoice tax calculations

Does anyone know how these calculations take place for External Supplier Invoices?The only way I can get them to come through is only bring in the net, then we have to manually fix taxes. However, If I bring all Gross, something in IFS is recalculating the Gross and Net backwards, from what I can tell.

FSM Product Structure

Hi All, What is the real purpose of the product structure? We have all our products set up in a structure as suggested initially, but it seems to have no use whatsoever. Am i missing something?The only practical purpose i can think of is for tracking parts through the stores/van places etc, but we dont do this. The issue we have is when we want to select a product on a request, the selection form just lists all of the products in one list without the structure applied, but inlcudes all the hierarchy product records which only exist to provide structure, i cant see anywhere in the app where you can ‘browse’ to a product by navigating the structure, all the product structure form seems to do is tell you the parent? What am i missing?We now have to add circa 1000 products to around 700 places, so they need to be easily found by the users. From what i have seen, the best way is just a flat product list with no structure but well defined product_id’s or asset_ids allowing them to be sear
