Hi Community. we have only a few employees unable to clock onto shop order operations due to the error message below about being unable to get costs from the labour class.the operators are in the correct labour classes and are active shopfloor employees connected to the correct site.we have recently created new manufacturing labour classes and update the labour costs and the issue has only happened since then. Other employees are able to clock onto the operation without any problems.Any ideas what could be causing this for a certain few employees? regards Jamie
We have IFS 9The following picture shows the organizational structure that I have created.present, faultyEmployee A03 is in the DEP_10000 department. Employee A04 is in the DEP_11000 department. DEP_11000 is a subdepartment of DEP_10000. Employee A03 is the manager of the DEP_11000 department. In this way, the manager of the A04 employee is the A03 employee.I could not implement this structure in the organizational chart.And I'm just at the beginning. For example; 3 of the 5 employees in a department have subordinate departments, 2 of them have no subordinate departments. There are many such structures. We are currently using App9, update 16 and allow Condition Code and we utilize both Lot/Batch Tracking and Serial Tracking. I would like to investigate time savings associated with not serial tracking in Inventory.In our environment “Condition Codes cannot be used on a serial tracked part unless it is serial tracked in Inventory.” Is this relationship changed in the Cloud upgrade such that Condition Code can be utilized while limiting Serial Tracking to “At Receipt and Issue” and “After Delivery Serial Tracking”? We are transitioning to IFS10 IEE and currently we have users who can select from Material Actions either Manual Issue or Manual Unissue from the shop order in SFWB, Are there a presentation and/or database objects that allows for the Issue/Unissue options that we need to grant? Has this option been changed in IFS10 to the Material tab and the part number selected?Thank you.

Hello we have a service account that connect to IFS to retreive informations on regular basis many times per day in IFS, it was always working well but recently form time to time we get a message saying The license for using IFS Applications is invalidIFS Applications will be inaccessible in 72 hoursContact IFS to obtain a valid license. Our license is valid and it’s the only users who gets this error, any idea what can cause this issue ?

Hi, My customer manufactured a Serial Tracked Inventory Parts in their factory (with shop order.)And if checked with “Part Serial” screen , you can see the underling structure. Then, before shipping , they want to maintainace it with work order,so we created a “Serial Object” with “Make Maintenance Aware” screen.But when we check the “Equipment Object Navigator” just find that underling structure is NOT created automatially. is there anyway to make IFS create underling structure?(we are using APP10 UPD10)
If in the part Master we check the checkbox “part to Product” as yes, my assumption has always been that it will directly convert to a product when the part is added as a part usage.For some reason it doesnt seem to be work in my environment.Is there anything else which need to be setup (business rule or change in metadata or change in part master) to get this working?Current in 6.13 version.

Hello, I created 2 projets with financial origin and capizalization on revenue/cost. I created supplier invoices linked to these projects. When I launch the periodical capitalization for these projects, I have an empty capitalization with no vouchers generated. Any ideas why please ? Best regards

HI, I think I know the answer to this one - but I’ve been asked to ask!We made a little error when setting up user groups in voucher series per voucher type and this meant that for the last 2 months (and now going forward) for one of our companies none of the no-part purchase invoices were being transferred to the G/L!We are using the ‘Transfer Purchase Transactions’ background job. This seems to work on an all or nothing mentality. So once we added the user group it did not transfer for the current Open Period!Two Periods are closed and can not be re-opened (I know this will fix it)The only other solution we can think of is to ‘Modify Transaction Date’ on the Purchase Transaction - but most of these PO’s have Invoices matched, so we would need to cancel these. This is a vast exercise. Does anyone know of a Third-Way?We are on Apps9 - I’d be interested to know if the functionality is different in APPS10 / Cloud.Thanks as always, Matt

It seems that oracle user is no longer required when IFS User is created in IFS Cloud.So, when IFS Cloud is set to use Internal IDP for user authentication, where is the user password stored? If there is Oracle user for the IFS user, will Oracle password be used at all? Neno
