PSO Task Modification Issue: 'Modified By' Field Always Reflecting IFS_PSO

Hi experts,I am facing an issue in PSO. I have observed that when I modify a task in PSO, the 'modified by' field does not capture the username or full name of the user who updated the task. Instead, it always takes the same value, which is IFS_PSO. Is there a way for this specific field to take the username of the user when they manually change it? Please provide your inputs... System Error Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.

We are getting a System Exception Error on the document folder navigator screen for a user. The error is: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. The attachments window is open and the screen runs through the bottom document section. The user has to close IFS in order to get the screen to function again. We will occasionally get the same message when update scripts are ran. Our IFS systems administrator has to run the script again and it works the second time with out changing anything. What would cause this error and how do we fix it so our user doesn’t have to close IFS all the time.

Issue with pga usage for database session for the ifs-odata pod

We have an issue for session from the odata pod that doesn't seem to not release the PGA memory consumption for the shared db sessions from the odata pod. They are never recycled in the IFSAPP-ODATA pods connection pool and just increase and increase. When they reach aprox 400 mb they start getting issues for other users session accessing the the connect. during logon on a statement BEGIN alter session set current schema to ‘IFSAPP’ END that hangs for 40 to 70 seconds with wait event SQL*Net message from client. This impact the database server performance when you have multiple sessions of it. with high cpu loadTo recreate it fast it’s possible to recreate it by do a sort and search inside the Entity Configuration screen. You will quite fast see that the database session will use above 400Mb quite fast and stay there for ever. If you then want to get more of them. Just open the same page multiple times in different tabs and add sort and push search… Then you even got more sessions whit

Error Message - "No recognition posting to be posted "

Hi All, I created a lease accounting contract and connected an object ID . Generated the amortization schedule and made the lease accounting contract active. Then used the import lease opening balances option to import the balances of the previous period.However , now it is not allowed to perform Create Recognition Posting . The error message is generated as "No recognition posting to be posted ". Appreciate if you can assist to fix the Issue.

GL Vs Inventory value per period not tallying

Dear All,I have come across the following issue. All the inventory related GL accounts and the relevant inventory value per period is not tallying. I have checked the following. Let me know your thoughts.Checked the posting controls. Apparently no issue No posting control issues and posting errors No manual vouchers No date difference (Applied date vs created date) Inventory transactions history vs GL voucher row analysis not tallying.If you have any SQL query written for the inventory transaction history which is used to reconcile with the GL. Fee on PO stops matching of supplier invoice and PO multi company vocher

Hi!Scenario:A Purchase Order (PO) is created in Company A with a delivery address at a site in Company B. This PO includes a freight fee. The Supplier's invoice arrives at Company A. When a fee is included on the PO, a warning is triggered when attempting to match the supplier's invoice with the PO. The warning message states: "The value for code part B is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value, or has an invalid time interval." The warning is issued because code part B doesn't exist in Company A. However, the fee should be directed to Company B, where the code part exists, just like the rest of the PO, and it should generate a multi-company voucher. This process works seamlessly when the PO doesn't include a fee. In this case, when everything matches, a multi-company voucher is created, and the PO is delivered to the stock in Company B. Does anyone know how to fix this? The fee should also be included in the multi-company voucher that is created when matching an invoic

Customer Owned Equipment in Shop Order

We have customer owned equipment that is used in a manufacturing processes and we need to track which shop orders & lots that this piece of equipment was used in. This piece of equipment in not consumed as part of the manufacturing process and can be reused. The piece of equipment can be either lot tracked or serial number tracked.All of the processes that we’ve tried so far seem rather convoluted. Any brilliant thoughts on how to solve for this scenario?

FSM customer portal, if the email or password is empty, display an 'OK' message.

BPA - User Interactive Form Properties

Hello,In BPA, for User Interactive Form, we have an option to select the form field type as ‘Custom Type’. I couldn’t find any documentation related to this property and how it can be used.Also, for the ‘Text’ type we are unable to add Label values. Is there a possibility to include Label for text field and what is the maximum character length for this field?Is there any documentation for these properties? We are using Cloud 23.1.3. Creating Contract Change Order from Sales Contract doesn't get Project ID

We are seeing a problem where creating Contract Change Orders from a Sales Order is not populating the Project ID on the CCO, which means that the Forecast option isn’t available automatically. The workaround is to go to every CCO after creation and manually set the Project ID in the details, which obviously can lead to choosing the wrong project.We generate a lot of CCOs so this workaround is painful for our admins… is there something we need to adjust or do differently?In out production environment 22R1.8 the value passes in automatically but in validating Update 22R2.9 (from 22R1.8) we are seeing this problem.Any ideas if this is intentional and maybe something needs to be adjusted at the Project or Sales Contract level? Or are we maybe seeing a bug?Thanks,Nick

Using Find Page in the Navigator

We are new to IFS Cloud. I have some questions regarding use of the Navigator.Is there a way to sort the Navigator items alphabetically? Is there a match case limitiation in the Find Page filter in the Navigator? Can any case be used - upper, lower., etc. Are there any wildcards that can be used in the Find Page filter in the Navigator? Are there any special characters that can be used in the Find Page filter in the Navigator to narrow search results (i.e. putting text in quotes, using AND or OR, etc.)?Any tips on using this feature would be appreciated. I couldn’t find any documentation about it. Thanks!

Purchase Order - Inv Conv Column data

In the Parts Order Lines tab of a Purchase Order, there is a column called “Inv Conv Fact”. Additional information for this column states, “This field displays the conversion factor between the purchase unit and the inventory unit. The formula is as follows: Purchasing unit = inventory unit * purchasing conversion factor.” We have a part which has a problem in its setup and is creating an Inv Conv Fact of 174 in this column. I’ve tried to research where the inventory unit and puchasing conversion factors are but I’m not finding them. Does anybody know where these are?

Irrelevant .dll files are generating in CXBP delivery build - APPS10

There are three customer CXBP projects(APPS10) that we are working and all the three projects we noticed irrelevant .dll files are getting generated when building the delivery although specific delivery contains client corrections in one or few modules.Is this already identified issue?Is there a solution for this matter?Is there any other cxbp customer who have experienced this behavior?

Custom Logical Unit and Dependent Fields

Hi, I am trying to create a custom logical unit and page that will be used in a custom tab on the customer screen. What I’d like to do is pass in the customer_id from the customer as the child key and then have additional fields in the custom logical unit be populated from custom sql statments that filter the specified data from the customer_id. However, I can’t figure out a way to make either a list of values or an enumeration that will populate data and filter said data by customer_id is this possible in IFS10?

IFS Academy - issues logging in

I should have an account at IFS Academy but cannot login. When utilizing the password resetting tool, it is not sending any emails back to indicate a reset. There is information on who should be contacted (academy@ifs.com), but limited action taken, if any. I have contacted academy for a week now with no resolution. Each time I send an email, Academy indicates they have put a ticket in and in 48 hours all should be resolved. A week later, and no resolution has been achieved. Perhaps there is something on my end that is wrong?
