We are getting a System Exception Error on the document folder navigator screen for a user.  The error is: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.  The attachments window is open and the screen runs through the bottom document section.  The user has to close IFS in order to get the screen to function again.

 

We will occasionally get the same message when update scripts are ran.  Our IFS systems administrator has to run the script again and it works the second time with out changing anything.

 

What would cause this error and how do we fix it so our user doesn’t have to close IFS all the time.

So that we can make sure we can get the right experts on to solving this long running query of yours are you able to confirm if this relates to the Document Management area rather than any of the other IFS Services applications areas? Some of the other areas also have document and attachment screens.

Also, are you able to provide a screenshot of the error and advise if there is a details section of the error? Sometimes the details of the error can provide some insight as to what is triggering the issue.

Yes it is the document navigation screen.  I’ve attached the error window and the screen that shows up after the error.  Sorry for the LONG delay but this only happens with certain users and it took a while to get the screen shots.
