Travel expenses costs

Hello, Does anyone know how we can track the costs of the travel expenses on the projects?Right now I can see only the used cost when the expense sheet was authorized. Is there any possibility to see also the costs on project when my expense sheet is in status “confirmed” or “approved”. Thank you,Cristina

Resource Templates

Hello,We are using Apps 10 Update 18, and we require the ability to add resources (formerly crafts in Apps8) to our engineers (resources) via the screen Resource Detail->Capacity Basis based on their job role.For example, an electrician would get a default list of resources upon joining the business.Currently our managers are having to manually key this into IFS which is a very time consuming and inefficient process. Has anyone achieved this using core functionality or would this need some sort of custom solution?Please let us know your experiencesThanks

Event runs twice triggered from update on IAL_OBJECTS_TAB

Hi allI’m trying to run an anonymous block from an event - however, I want to trigger to be weekly, not when a record is inserted/update.My method is to create a simple Static IAL, which I schedule to run weekly. Then I created an event to trigger on IAL_OBJECT_TAB on update when RowVersion is changed - also tried other updated fields. The event action is set to run if the name of the IAL is that created above is updated. If the action is a simple email output, it runs once each time I update the IAL (Update Now button in IAL configuration). As soon as I introduce an Execute Online SQL action, it seems to run twice as I get double the output (my SQL reads records in Project data - which includes the Project Manager, in a for Loop, then sends out details to each PM individually within the For LOOP).Any thoughts? Is this a known issue? (this is APPS9) Yes, I know I could create a Package, but as it is hosted, we are reliant on IFS all the time - I want more freedom to develop this. Grate

Custom event - Shop order already printed

Hello.We made a custom Field on the SHOP_ORD table, a checkbox type to know if the SO got printed or not. The custom event which is supposed to check the CF is nowadays randomly working, when it doesn’t work, it doesn’t do the stuff, no error is showed. SFTP - IFS and ADP

Hi All.We use Apps 10 EE and are based in Australia (not that this should make a difference but apparently it does).We are trying to connect our ADP database, that we use for payroll, with IFS. The recommendation was to use a SFTP connection (by ADP). The project has ground to a halt and we are in the middle of a standoff because IFS cannot provide public PGP key and ADP requires public PGP key to make the connection.This solution (ADP (ifs.com)) does not work, we are told, because we are not based in the USA, which I find a little bit incredulous. If anyone in the IFS community has anyone encountered this situation before and can provide guidance, it would be very much appreciated?

Printing on a Zebra ZPL printer with the IFS Aurena system

Hello community,I am printing an IFS Aurena label on a Zebra ZT231 printer. The label has been rotated counterclockwise 90 degrees and moved. Other IFS reports printed on the ZEBRA printer are also rotated to the left and shifted. Same problem in ZPL printer emulator when I print from IFS Aurena. Manipulating the printer driver does not help. Has anyone encountered a similar problem and could help?Thank you.

Duplicate Quick report parameter

What could be the reason for the duplicate report parameter? This report is migrated from Apps9 to Apps10 like for like. However Apps10 shows duplicate parameter, but works fine in Apps9.I also see this error when trying to run the report. Generate Cross Reference of Part Numbers with no demand and Part Numbers with the same Manufacturer Part Number??

I’m using IFS APP 10 in my current workplace. I’ve been tasked with taking a list of parts that have no demand in the system and cross referencing them to other part numbers in the system so that the stock can be moved to the part number that is in demand. I was just wondering if there is any tools available that would help with this? Thanks! Andrew

CUSTOMER_PMT_RECEIVED Event

Hi, On Apps 10 UPD16 the system defined event CUSTOMER_PMT_RECEIVED is firing for customers when we have an unallocated payment on their account. When they have this payment, but prior to it being allocated, the sum of payment + outstanding orders > credit limit - so the corresponding action will fire. When the payment is allocated shortly after they are below the limit, but it has still fired. Has anyone else experienced this issue / found a way around it.

Scheduling operations as one unit

I am new to IFS (4 weeks) and have been tasked with coming up with a way for our schedulers to be able to plan using drag and drop (I am looking at visual planning) as well as plan with a single line of the route (we currently have up to 4 operations). Is there a way in IFS to group the operations together for planning while leaving the 4 separate operations intact for the rest of the organization? Right now we are on the path of creating a ‘dummy’ work center that would represent the full time on the machine. This is failing because when I set the operation to the bottom of the route (operation 50), it doesn’t start until operation 30 is complete. I need it to start at the same time as operation 10 and complete at the same time as operation 40.Is there a way in IFS to make this happen, or what am I missing on the operation set up to make them align?

Update Retention Amount (Supplier Payment Schedule) via POCO

Does anyone know about Payment Schedules (Retention) for Purchase Order???Issue: Retention is set up for 10% of total PO Amount → PO Change Order INCREASES/REDUCES total PO Amount --> on the Payment Schedule, the updated Total Gross Amount is reflected...shouldn’t the "Planned Amount" AUTOMATICALLY update as well????? Is there a setting/toggle I need to alter or is there background job that should run?

APPS9 - Consolidated Accounts - problem transferring balances to Parent

Has anyone had experience of setting up/using the ‘old’ Account Consolidation module?‘Consolidated Accounts’We’re in the process of configuring it and getting issues when attempting to transfer the Subsidiary Company Balances across to the Parent Company. I.e. there is no RMB to do it!I can’t see anything in the on-line documentation but I wonder whether there is a ‘gotcha’ on the set-up?

Complete Where Used vs. Products Per Component

I have a raw material (DUP-BATCHCOMP-1) used in multiple finished goods. The Complete Where Used is shown below.When I look at Products Per Component, though, the intermediate level parts DUP-4000-A and DUP-5000-A are listed. Why are these listed as the other three -A parts shown in the tree above are not listed?

Some of the Work Task from Mobile is completed but in client is staying in Work Started status.

Some of the Work Task from Mobile is completed but in client is staying in Work Started status. when checked about the failed transactions screen, noticed that Work assignment has been removed by another user error shown, but work task ref is not updated.this transaction is due to in mobile when they add additional work task and try to complete.I tried to clear the first failed transactions by resending but still issue persists.
