Does anyone know if it’s possible to schedule a Task between particular times? I’m looking to scheduled a task daily to run every two minutes but only between 6am and 8pm each day. Any PL/SQL assistance would be appreciated. Many thanks.
We are in Apps9 and have a manufactured part set up with a Safety Stock of 1. There is no other Demand. There are two shop orders set up for the part but they are Parked and the Parked reason is set up to not include SO as Supply. We are finding when running MRP that a requisition to satisfy the qty x 1 Safety Stock is not being generated. We have checked what we believe to be the obvious (component parts active, routing and structure buildable, MRP code set to A, phase in date/s) but can’t identify the reason. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.ThanksLinda

Does anyone know what drives the Company Tax ID Number field in Tax Transactions, please, against Mixed Payment transactions (Apps9)? The “Help” indicates as below but with a Mixed Payment, there is no “address” as there is on a customer invoice, for example. Company Tax ID NumberThe company tax identification number valid for the address specified in the row. We have a company with two VAT numbers, one UK and one European. We process Bank Charges using Mixed Payment function (Direct Cash Payment) so we can select Account Code and Cost Centre to post to as well as Tax Code.In some instances the Tax Transactions has picked up the UK VAT number for these transactions and in others the European one. There is no discernible difference in what/how the Mixed Payment has been processed that I can see so I was wondering if there is something in the setup of some connected item. I have sat with the user who processes the payments today and couldn’t spot anything. Any thoughts/suggestion
I’m looking to add a custom field to the ‘Customer Invoices’ view that returns the number of attachments of a certain Document Class. Does anyone know if there is an existing Function I could adapt to retrieve this, please? Apps9 (moving to Cloud soon...) Many thanks!
Does anyone have either/both of these templates they could share, please? If there is a completed example that works that would also be appreciated too. We have an issue (Apps 9) where we are trying to import a multi-line supplier invoice (one invoice no, multiple lines/postings/tax codes) but the invoice fails to load. When we import an invoice with one record, it imports without error. When we try multiple lines we get the following error Any suggestions/ideas would be much appreciated. Linda
Does anyone have a sraightforward ‘how to’ guide on setting up employees in Cloud, please? We don’t use HCM in its full capacity. I just need to set employees up to either report hours on Projects using Time Registration OR report hours on Shop Orders connected to a Labour Class. This is what I’d use in Apps9 then attach to a Resource Group for Time Reg users or a Labour Class for Shop Floor Workbench users. I can find this screen but there’s no ‘create new/add’ functionality…
I’m hoping there’s an expert who can assist on the workflow of PO Change orders when applied on inter-site POs. We are on Apps9 and have PO Change Order enforced on sites within company A. We have a PO on site B where the supplier is site C. I think the workflow is as follows:Create PO Change Order for PO on site B Make necessary PO changes in POCO eg qty change to 3 from 2. Save. RMB in PO Header, select Send Change Request RMB on PO line, select Supply Chain Orders Analysis Select CO. RMB to Incoming Change Request Manually update Incoming Change Request for Customer Order eg qty change to 3 from 2 RMB in Incoming Change Request for Customer Order Header. I’m trying to create a custom field on Customer Order Line which returns the sum of total Available qty across multiple sites. We have parts in stock on multiple sites so the sales team would like to see, when raising an order on the ‘main’ sales site, if there is available stock on any of the other sites in the same company. In Apps9 we are trying to connect a Control Plan to an Outside Op (Non-Inventory) Purchased Part on site A where the supplier for the part is internal supplier site B. When we save we get the error message “Part Revision must have a value for Purchased Inventory Part xxxxx”.The part on the supply site is a Manufactured Part with Part Catalogue, Inventory Part, Product Structure, Routing and Sales Part records, and is entered on the demand site Supplier for Purchase Part record as “Supplier Part No” needed for inter-co PO/CO/SO functionality.Has anyone come across this issue before/have a solution/know it is recognised as a bug?

We are on Apps9 and are looking for a creative solution. To outline…A pdf drawing for a part is attached to Inventory Part using Doc Man. Through Object Connection Transformation we ‘inherit’ this document to Shop Orders. Our Shop Orders have a detailed “job sheet” (Shop Order specific) which is attached to the individual SO Op Work Guideline directly. When printing “Work Instructions” for the individual Shop Order, we select the “Print Attached Documents” option However, this does NOT print the pdf drawing document inherited from the Inventory Part; only the “job sheet”. Any ideas/suggestions/starting points would be appreciated.Thank you.
Am I missing something? This is one example. There are other screens similar I find. When I open the Purchase Order screen why is “Order Number” not one of the default search selectors? Is this an unusal request? Another ‘pet peeve’ would be that I have to re-select this Order No search field every time I open the screen. Is there any way to ‘save’ which search options have been selected previously? It’s such a waste of time/so inefficient. Thanks!

We are in Apps9 and have various of the Purchase Authorisation Notification event action emails set up - like this one. We have ClickOnce activated but users report when they click the link the relevant screen opens in the IFS application but it is not populating with the Order/Requisition number referred to in the notification. Can someone advise if it should be &MESSAGE_TEXT or &MY_QUERY that should be used in creating the custom URL? Or are there any other “knowledge gains” to do with default browser, ClickOnce extension option, or anything else I’m missing/getting wrong?Thanks in advance.Linda
Does anyone have any clue as to what drives the Company Tax ID that gets returned against M vouchers, please??We are using Apps9 and have a company registered for Tax in various EU countries. So far this year, a number of M vouchers have been raised and, as you can see below, they are retrieving sometimes our UK tax ID, sometimes BE, sometimes FR and sometimes none at all. The Transaction Codes vary betWEEN AP1, AP2, MANUAL and INTERIM. There is no Supplier or Customer or site being entered or retrieved so no obvious place that a Country is being returned. I still have a similar unresolved question about random Tax IDs being retrieved against Mixed Payments too. I did raise a case but it wasn’t picked up as Apps9 is out of support. Any shared experience/ideas from the “Community Collective Brain” would be much appreciated! ThanksLInda

Am I missing something? Is it possible to just type in a Date Range in Cloud? The “between” .. is listed when I click the Help ‘?’ but when I type in the date range as below I get an “invalid format” message. To be honest, being a bit ‘old school, if I know the two dates I don’t want to waste my time scrolling up and down through calendars to select start date finish dates, I just want to type in the dates Thanks!
Unlike this issue reported here ...We are looking to switch off the “Same No Prelim and Final Supplier” setting. We run Apps9 and are using Supplier Invoice Workflow. One of the companies in the group are challenged each Year End by having to remove any Prelim Invoices before moving over to a new Accounting Year because they have an I voucher allocated already. This has been heightened this year by them starting to use Document Management to attach copy invoices to the Prelim on IFS. Like many other companies, I’m sure, we have ‘year specific’ voucher series set up for I and J vouchers. Prelim Supplier invoices posted in current year have current year prefix so error when trying to finally post in New Year. When we tried to test processing invoices having unticked the “Same No Prelim and Final Supplier” box we encountered the following error Our I voucher type is set to Automatic Allotment of voucher J voucher type is not When trying to change J to Automatic Allotment I encounte
Does anyone have any info/documentation/knowledge, please, on Transaction Revaluation Events? We’re in Apps9, running weighted average costing. This is an OOREC/Receipt of Shop Order transaction for a Shop Order connected to a Project. It’s the first time we have manufactured the part. I don’t think that’s partiularly relevant as there are other OORECs with Reval Events on parts we have manufactured multiple times. The total cost of the shop order is the 3506.86 (3336.46+170.4) and the part’s current inventory value is 3506.86. The part was subsequently issued at 3506.86. Material Cost on the SO was 2086.59, Op Cost was 1420.27. Why did it not just OOREC at 3506.86? Where does this 3336.46 come from? I’m sure the answer will be blindingly obvious … Thanks in advance!

I’m sure this will have come up before though I can’t see any questions. Since we made the mistake in year 1 of having Apps9 (!), at year end we have always removed any Prelim Supplier Invoices that we knew weren’t going to be finally posted in current year. Is this something everyone else has to do, or is there some other approach/workaround/trick we are missing/setup we are misunderstanding?Thanks!
