Hi everyone,Is it possible (with IFS Developer Studio) to create LOV not displaying ID (key), only description?On below screen there is blue marked ID and red marked Description.I’d like only description visible to user and ID only save to DBLOV code in .client file looks like below lov CustomerIdRef with CCustomerInfoSelector2 { description = "${CustomerIdRef.Name}"; }This is simple example based on CustomerInfo but in real i have dictionary with ugly keys (GUID) and i do not want to show it to users :)I think i need LOV instead for example Lookup because i need to filter LOV2 based on choosen value from LOV1.Thanks

How To Set User Default In Cloud

We are down a person in my group at the moment and the person who normally does this step to setup a new user in IFS is not available.This said, how do I set a user default buyer like I used to do in 10 IEE in cloud? This is all I need to set and I can’t find it anywhere in cloud.

Planning Method?For MRP to Create Shop Order Requisitions that dont take into hand whats avb(onhand) in stock We Run a Finished Goods Item that have the product structure of required X amount of another Semi Finished GoodsSome times Production get more from the shop order and we are not “allowed” to use that next daySo i want when Creating Finished Goods then running MRP i only want Shop Order Requisitions for the semi finished goods that is exact like QTY required from the Finished Goods and not Required - Onhand = Shop Order Requisition

Error in validation of Custom Attribute

I am trying to create a Read Only custom field (P2P_EXEMPT) on the Posting Proposal screen that looks at another custom field (P2P_EXEPEMTION) on a different screen (Supplier) select cf$_IR35_exemption as P2P_EXEMPTfrom ifsapp.SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL_cfvwhere supplier_id=:identity As sql this runs and returns the CF2 valueHowever, when I put this code into the CF1 build, I get this error when I try to Approve the new field I have tried both v and t in the ArgumentI have tried everything I can think of and everything gives this errorI have tried this direct accessI have tried using an IALI have added a function to a an APII have created a functionIn all cases the object works and I can select the value I want BUT when I try to out it into the Custom field, I get the above errorDoes anyone know what the issue is?We are using Apps9 Upd 17Any ideas? IFS Cloud 22R1 Azure Storage for DocMan

Hello,I have IFS Cloud Installation Using 22R1 using remote deployment on Azure Storage.If there any way to use Azure Storage for DocMan. I have tired using Shared Path but seems its working.in This i have created Repositotary Address using \\<ServerName>\<path mapped on the server given user name password for the server. Added Same Address in Repositotary and used port 22 (SCP) as the azure storage path is mapped to linux server. But While check in the document its failing to connet to the Respositotary.Please suggest. Storing documents on Database is not a very good option.RegardsPankaj

IEE Customer "Address Edit" window is hidden

Have you ever experienced a situation where certain users cannot view the “Address Edit” window in IEE? Basically, the Address Edit window is shrunk and only the title bar is visible. The tools for resizing aren’t also available.We have few users experiencing this. Any input will be appreciated.

We have a number of projects that we keep getting an error stating 'Project cannot be completed until all active acquisition values referring to this project has been moved in IFS|Fixed Asset.'The process to follow to get the error is:Go to Financials|Project Accounting|Project, then search for one of the projects, RMB and select Rollback Sub Project Completion. Complete the necessary fields on the window and click ok, this is when we then get the error.In Object Transactions Analysis window those objects/FA records are with object transaction value type as "Acquisition" and status as "Ready". Getting Error " the code part combination on posting line with row id 1 is invalid for authorizer in sequence 10 due to settings in window authorizations combination rules"

I’m new to IFS, and my company is testing the system to transition from external invoice approvals to handling approvals within IFS. We initially tried using the mapping system for automatic routing to approvers and their managers, following our approval limit structure, but it wasn’t successful.We’ve now moved to a more manual process where we select each approver (or their manager) and have them acknowledge the invoice before moving it to the next person in the approval chain. However, while testing, we encountered this error:“The code part combination on posting line with row id 1 is invalid for authorizer in sequence 10 due to settings in window authorization combination rules.”We haven’t used the “Authorization Combination Rules” module before, only the “Authorizing Assigning Rule” and “Authorizer Routing Rule” to set approval limits.I have a few questions:Does this manual process require a different setup to avoid this error? Error when doing ifs cloud mobile development training course

I am currently facing issue with my IFS Application. It seems that error is appearing on every pages as shown below.I suspect this might have occurred because I mistakenly deployed some components (FNDBAS, APPSRV, ENTERP) files which were not required to deploy while I was doing the practices in the training environment of Mobile Development Training.Could anyone please guide me how to resolve it. CAMRO Purchase Order Connection to Project

Hi all, Apparently it is not possible to connect a purchase order line with demand code ‘interim order’ to a project activity. Only demand codes Inventory Order and Non-Inventory Order are allowed to connect. Is there a reason why this works this way? Trying to figure out the implications this might have. Is there some kind of workaround that I am missing?

How to enable mailto: links in IFS Cloud without automatically adding https://?

I’m currently working in IFS Cloud and trying to create a mailto: link in a lobby element (e.g., a Links List Element or via the Element Designer). Unfortunately, whenever I add a mailto: link, IFS Cloud automatically prepends “https://” to it, causing the link to fail and not open the user’s default email client as intended.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Entering mailto: directly into the URL field in the Element Designer Using various element types (Data Cards, Text Elements, Links List Elements) Embedding HTML (e.g., <a href="mailto:someone@domain.com">Send Email</a>) Reviewing the available technical documentation, which only mentions support for http/https URLsQuestions:Is there an official or documented method to add a mailto: link so that it remains in the mailto: format without IFS Cloud automatically converting it to https://?Thanks in advance!

Configuration Id - From Customer Order Lines

Hello IFS Community, I have a question regarding Configuration ID for -IFS24- . Where is the new configuration created or stored, and what is the IFS page where I can view the data? I am aware that the table and view in IFS are CONFIGURATION_SPEC_TAB and CONFIGURATION_SPEC, respectively.Additionally, how can I determine which customer order line is associated with a newly created Configuration ID? Is there a straightforward way to find this information?For example, I have the CO *1017 (see screenshot below) clicking on the line I can navigate to Configuration.In this example, the Configuration ID 63 was created or edit.Could you please let me know the IFS page name where I can view this Configuration ID? We have a customer that wants us to build and warehouse units/parts, etc. for their salespeople to sell to end customers. They want to own the inventory and we warehouse and ship for them. What’s the preferred way to do this? Or is this outside the scope of IFS?

FSM Web Client displays NaN instead of blank in numeric field

We have a screen using user_def_num fields which are optional. When records are created and these values are NULL, Web Client is displaying the data as NaN.Smart Client displays no value Can anyone offer a solution so that Web Client displays no value?

RMA - unable to register arrivals - Tax lines cannot be altered

Has anyone come across this issue when trying to register arrivals of parts on an RMA? We have recently migrated to Cloud (currently on 23R1.10) and have raised an RMA (connected to an order that had originally been invoiced in our Apps9 environment). There are parts lines and two Charge lines. When we view the Tax lines on the original Customer Order they are blank. It is a zero rated tax order so the tax amount is zero but we would expect there to be an entry here showing this. Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas would be appreciated.

Work Tasks with pre-posting mandatory, objects on Steps

Hi, in IFS Cloud i have setup 4 PM actions that belongs to same PM Group Id and on the PM actions i have set the Merge to Yes, My goal ist to create a Route Work Order/Tasks with 4 steps-Then i perform Calendar Generation and all PM action ends up with 1 WO , 1 Task and 4 steps, on the steps, 4 different object exists ( from PM action).Also, the pre-posting on a Work Task is set to mandatory, but no pre-posting exists on the Task in this scenario, all the steps has “it’s own preposting” from the different object.When trying to finish the Task, an message tells me that pre-posting on Work Task in mandatory.Whats the correct setup for this scenario? The cost for material, hours .. should be devided into the objects on the steps.Please advise.

Copy/Paste Posting Information on invoice IFS Cloud

We recently updated to 24R1 and noticed that a function that is used frequently by us for manually posted invoices was removed. The ability to copy and paste posting information. This is used due to our authorization combination rules that many within the company fail to recognize. After filling in the posting information authorizers and acknowledgers are removed leaving the invoice in status “Balance”. The easiest way to sole is by copying posting information, deleting and pasting to trigger the rule. I can not find a reason to why it was removed anywhere and if it will return in future updates.

Error Message when open attachment "Index was out of range"

Hi Team,I have a customer who gets an error message when try to open any attachments in TST environment. This error message occurs only for one User and not for other users in same IFS App10 window. This is the error message: Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range.
