Running a Usability Questionnaire Survey Directly in IFS Cloud

Hey there, IFS!I have a few questions:Is it possible to run surveys directly within the IFS Cloud tool? If so, how would one go about setting up and running a survey inside the platform? Specifically, I’m thinking of conducting a usability questionnaire directly within the tool, rather than relying on email blasts or external tools like Microsoft Forms.Could you also provide a link to any relevant documentation on how to get started with this?Thanks in advance!

Defense Contract order can quantity that was originally ordered and partially delivered be reduced?

Is it possible to reduce the quantity that was originally ordered and partially delivered, when a Defense Contract is involved? If so, how? Or is a New Order required to be created and connected to the Defense Contract?Product Version: 23.2.8Business Impact: Getting ready to move from APP9 to CLOUD and new process needed.

Import manual voucher title

Hi,We are planning on importing most of the manual vouchers to Aurena/IFS10 with the external voucher function. Is it possible to import also the header info? I’m looking for the possibility to get the title (marked yellow in the picture) for the manual voucher to be visible in the GL Vouchers Analysis.

The value XXXX used for the code part Cost Cent is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval.

We have an error on the posting lines of a work task transaction that we can not solve.We closed a accounting project, and after a while we had to reopen it due to a guarantee claim. We opened it, created a new work order and task. We created a Purchase order, We registerd the arrival and the supplier invoice.After that the transaction state is “Overtaken” but the posting lines that should be in Status=Valid are in Status =”Error”The error is “The value XXXX used for the code part Cost Cent is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval.” But when we reopened the accounting project we modified the dates on the porject and also on the activity. We have run the task “Check and update Accounting”, We have run the task “RErun Erroneus Work Task Postings”  and the “Transfer Work Task Reposting Transactions”  but the error does not disapear.Do you have any suggestion for us?Lucía

IFS Report Studio upgrades

Hi,I’m seeking some guidance on Report Studio. This looks like a good tool for working with report layouts within IFS Cloud. I have picked up that there might be some limitations when working with custom fields and possibly with printing of these .rep reports. Can anyone share their experience on these limitations?Also, I checked the 24R2 and 25R1 Roadmap and do not see Report Studio mentioned.  Should we expect updates to the Report Studio functionality in upcoming Releases and/or Service Updates?Thanks

IFS Demand Planner - Fiscal Calendar issue

We are using the IFS Demand Plan Client v6.0.3.Our planning team forecasts demand by fiscal week, but sometimes they would like to review the data rolled up to the fiscal month. As is common, our fiscal months do not line up with calendar months, but are groups of our fiscal weeks - in our case in a 4-4-5 weekly grouping.We have the period version on our server set to Weekly, and we have been able to define the correct fiscal weeks for planning. But, when the timeline is changed in the DP client to display Monthly, the system appears to divide the weekly numbers by days, determine how many days are in the calendar month, and then sum those days to give a calendar "monthly" total, instead of grouping the fiscal weeks. We've been told by our technical team that we can change the period version on the server to Monthly to define the months correctly, but we would have to trash all the current flows, lose all history, and then it’s likely that the weeks will not be correct.This seems like

Credit Offsets to show in Remittance/Payment Advice

In the supplier payment proposal there is an option to do a supplier offset if there is a credit. This will take out the credit note out from the payment proposal and the payment advice / remittance will only show the amount that will be paid. (which is correct)Is there any way to show the credit note number and amount that was offset against the invoice in the footnote of the payment advice or is this a customisation ?

Change payment file - FRFO (CFONB160)

Hello, My customer would like to edit the payment file that is generated by IFS (CFONB320 related to French legislation) by adding an information in the external file. That file will be interfaced with the cashtool.He would like to add the /INTC/ (as mentionned here) to the standard file. That is a cell that is specified for specific comments in the legislation.Customer file : Standard file : Do you know where it’s possible to setup that information in IFS somewhere ? As i was looking for the external file and still didn’t find it.Can i edit the payment file to fill in the customer’s needs ? Any suggestions ? Thanks.

Manufacture capacity with HR calendar no Day Dependant

Is there any way of calculating the capacity to manufacture workforce with the HR calendar and HR cycles that are not Day Dependant ?  For instance a cycle like that, : for example, a cycle like this, with a volume of hours But when we start the event of calculing the capacity, we have the same error “The Use HR schedule box is ticked, but it is not used with a valid programme”. Is there a simple solution ?Thanks for advance

Send Invoices - Invoice/Delivery address must have a value

Hello,  We are currently in the process of sending automatically invoices to some of our customers.To do so we followed this documentation properly : https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/030_administration/030_integration/330_ifs_applications_business_components/023_configure_sending_e-invoices/#sending_e-invoice_to_different_destination_addresses_for_different_customer_address_setup However when we try to send the invoice we have these errors in the “Sent Invoices” projection :  1) Invoice Address must have a value.2) Delivery Address must have a value. The Invoice does have existing Invoice/Delivery Addresses :  Is it a known issue or are we doing something wrong ?Our current version is 22.1.23.20240103155725.0

Add Available Qty to Business Opportunity Lines

My sales team is using Business Opportunity to add lines and only moving to Sales Quotation when the quote is ready to be generated for the customer. They wish to see “Available Qty” on Opportunity Lines just like the native field displays on the Sales Quotation Lines. It doesn’t appear I can create a simple read only reference field for this and need a select statement. I haven’t been able to get one to work, can someone offer assistance?

Report Designer not picking up new layout

I have been tryong to edit a Report using Report Designer, but whatever I do, when I go to print, the change is not visible.The users want to add a small gap between Invoie No and Date on a Customer Ledger Open Item report. I exported the Schema, Layout and Style Sheet to my local PC from the Report DefiitionI opened the report and found the relevant fields an moved them about to create the gap.I saved the report and could see that only the the xsl file had been updated.I re-imported that xsl file back into the Report DefinitionBut when I run the report, nothing has changed. The 2 fields still run into each otherWhat am I missing?I suspect I am missing a step, but what I have done SEEMS correct.Anyone got any idea what I am missing?ThanksRoger

How are we supposed to connect crystal report users to IFS cloud “remote” without oracle user accounts? Is everyone creating oracle accounts for crystal users then finding out which views are needed and giving access to the views???

Page designer - changing value of new field doesn't trigger a save

Hi all,We’re on Cloud 23.2.0I have added a new persistent field “Task Chargeable” in the entity - JtTask and it works fine on the below page (Work Task Debrief page on Tech Portal). The system saves the change of value on the field correctly.  But when I add the same group (WORK TASK REPORT IN GROUP) to the main page, and when I try to toggle the value, it doesn’t save the changes. But any other field in the same group if I change the value it saves. Does anyone know why it doesn’t save the value changes? Thanks.

Can you use NCR’s on “started” shop orders? If so, is if common?

Today we use custom tables to track defects, but it seems the NCR module provides everything we are trying to achieve with our custom tables plus more (tracking, reporting, etc.). I’ve been told that NCR’s cannot be connected to an “started” shop order. How and what are users using to track defects on “started” shop orders if the NCR module is not intended for this? If you can use NCR for this, is it common amongst users?

OData Entity Paths Returns ODP_SERVICE_IS_NOT_ACTIVE

Our IFS cloud deployment of 23R2 is working fine. I’ve been using the OData APIs to build integrations with external software. So far, all of the paths I have used are for projections, with some form of:/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerOrderHandling.svcHowever now I’m trying to use some entity paths like this:/int/ifsapplications/entity/v1/CustomerOrderEntity.svcThese are failing with this response: {  error: {    code: "ODP_SERVICE_IS_NOT_ACTIVE",    message: "Service is not active."  }}Anyone know how to resolve this?Thanks,-Chris

Hello,         I would like to use a single account on AURENA (1 license) and be able to enter time for several employees on AURENA.I've managed to do this for new TEST employees but not for existing employees. Is there a way to connect existing employees to a single GENERIC PERSON ID?
