Hi Application timeout logs out users after a certain period of inactivity. Session timeout, on the other hand, determines the duration of maintaining a connection when users access IFS Cloud in a high availability (HA) configuration, connecting to either server #1, #2, or #3.Could you please provide information regarding the current values for both IFS session timeout and application timeout in the HA configuration?Currently, I believe the application timeout is set to 60 minutes (the duration after which re-login is required if no activity is detected). In this case, what should be the appropriate setting for the session timeout value? Should it also be 60 minutes, or should it be set to a higher value?I'm asking this question for clarification and confirmation due to concerns that if the application timeout time (e.g., 60 minutes) exceeds the session timeout time (e.g., 30 minutes), there might be instances where users are redirected to another server before being logged out due to
We have a situation where we will not have the full address at the time of appointment request. We will only have city, country and postal code at appointment request and later at the time of slot confirmation, we will have the full address. Since address is a mandatory field in FSM, we want to use some default address per postal code at time of appointment request and update later once we receive actual address at slot confirmation. The question is PSO will show slots based on default address and later when address gets updated co-ordinates will be changed so will there be any known impact on the task or on the PSO schedule with this address update.Note : Default address and actual address both lie in same zip code so we should not have a situation where there is very huge distance between the co-ordinates of the 2 addresses.
Hi 😊,Would anyone happen to know the method for automatically setting the following Work Task to the status of 'Work Done'?All the assignments are in Completed status, but the Work Task status remains Work Started.I supposed that the reason is toggling on “Allow Multiple Visits”.But when I attempt to toggle off it the below error generates.Any workaround to set the Work Task automatically to Work Done/ Finished is highly appreciated.Environment : IFS CLOUD 22.2.19Thank you 😊

Are there any others like Yesterday or is it possible to deduct/add number of days to the CurrentDay somehow, can I somehow truncate the date?I did not find even DayAfterMonth, CurrentDate in the documentation.Thanks Jan
Hi ,I am working in Apps 9 and I have a question regarding forecast consumption. There are no actual demand for this MSL1 part on 6th, 7th and 8th month. So how come the Forecast is consumed ? Checked in Inventory Part Availability Planning as well. Create a new document and check in a file under Document Revision.Use ‘View Document’ to view the file.Then the file will be opened in local PC for viewing.A copy of the file will be available in the ‘Temp’ folder under Local Checkout Path. Once the user closes the opened file in the local machine, the copy of the file under ‘Temp’ folder should be deleted. Setup: IFS Applications 10 UPD 6 On trying to run IFS Aurena Notify Me 10 we are receiving the following error: Something went wrong! Reference: IDP-U5Mvq0wrYt6A Code: IDP_PROTOCOL_FLAW Message: Request failed to fulfil protocol requirements. Information: Invalid redirect URL I know in the past we have had to open IFS Middleware Server Admin Console > Security > Database Identity Provider > External Redirect URls and added the Redirect URl for the application that is displaying the error. My problem is where do I locate the Redirect URl so that I can add this? Can anyone please advise?

We have used SQL Views as data sources in Lobby Data source designer, however in process of migrating them into projections, we need to replace “where” conditions to “filters” in new projection data sources and needs a solution to replace SYSDATE parameter used in SQL Views. Workaround tried to replace SYSDATE was unsuccessful.Screenshot attached.We could use a Query in the projection and could migrate the logic to projection yet this filter conditions are being used as in navigation links in Lobby Elements.
Currently we have project access turned ON with default project roles and project teams in place. We use Project Time Registration window for time reporting. Is there a way to restrict team members from viewing other people’s time records on this screen?Currently, everybody can see each others’ time records, but only PM role holder can edit others’ time records.We have added the TEAMACCESS property with a FALSE value for the Company. This restricted people from editing others’ time records, but they can still view them.Does anyone know how to limit this view access?
I’m trying to make a migration job where the filename should be in the format of: ‘A12 2021 Voucher.csv’So the format is like this: A[MM] [YYYY] Voucher.csvI did try to change the dateformat to ‘MM YYYY’ and use &DATF, but then the dateformat is changed for the lines inside the file as well. This is not something I would like to do. Anyone any suggestions on how to make the filename as described without changing the dateformat inside the file lines?

A customer of ours is working on an interface between their bespoke HR system and IFS. They have the insert of new employees from their system into IFS up and running. However when a change is done for first or last name of the person (the employee), the response is good (status 200 received), but it can't be seen in the employee file in IFS Cloud.Request is: Involved fields that should change: Although response seems good, customer doesn't see it (also not after refresh of screen).Anybody that encountered this as well (here or with another svc)?
We have a requirement where we want to fetch all the items that have word “MODEL” in shortcode. Is there a way to get this in ETM?
In Apps 10, we are able to create new Service Requests from a Template. Cloud 23R2 doesn’t have this functionality. Is it in the pipeline for a future release or is there another way to achieve the same, thanks
