Alliance has functionality to receive inbound emails. It is possible to configure the application to identify the customer if the email address of the sender is a known address in the profile database or if the email contains a structured API where there are login credentials as part of the API. Hi,I would like to have more information for the DSE calculation with 2 adresses for Technicians. 1/ I assume that if we set 2 adresses for an Technician : StartShift and Endshift, the DSE will use these inputs in the calculation. Right ?Use case : Startshift adress : Office Endshift Address : Home 2/ If we set 2 different adresses : Could we have the data of the last travel in the DSE tables (Service Order > Endshift Adress) ?NB : If the Endshift Adress is far from the Startshift, the total travel can be very different and the selection of the technician also for the last service order of the day. Hello,(We are on 23R1.6 in our environments.) We have a quick report that pulls invoice data, we can export this data from the quick report page, completely fine. We encounter no issues and the excel formatting is perfect. The issue we are encountering though, is when scheduling this report via scheduled reports, and having it emailed to our users, we notice that the method used to export the data onto an excel sheet adds an extra space and a new line character before the field values for all columns/rows. We cannot fix this on our end since these characters are added after the data is pulled from the quick report. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks,Bryan
We have a situation where an order was entered on the system for Site A to have Site B “Internal Purchase Direct” some parts to their customer. Site B processed the shipment from the Customer Order on 4/1/24 (at 4:15 pm).For some reason Site A cancelled the line on the Customer Order on 4/2/24 (at 9:48 am), where they were prompted to also cancel the Purchase order line for that order. (The parts at this time were already “in transit”).Somehow our customer care personnel was able to perform the Register Direct Delivery on the product for the Customer Order line that was cancelled. They performed this on 4/3/24 at 2:22 pm. Now, we have parts no longer In Transit, so we haven’t been able to Undo the Delivery, nor have we been able to figure out how to create an RMA from an “Internal Order Transit”. The system will not let us. Is this a bug, or what are we supposed to do now?
IFS application 10 UPD22 - IEE client We are trying to limit the number of devices a userid can be logged into IFS at the same time. We are working with Oracle Profile - Sessions / User. A value of UNLIMITED appears to allow an unlimited number of logins on multiple devices.A value of 3 (or more) appears to allow an unlimited number of logins on multiple devices.A value of 1, or 2, does not allow the userid to login, with the system responding with “invalid login credentials”. Have others got this working?The goal is to prevent sharing of accounts, requiring each user to log in with their own account.

Hello,I am hoping someone can help me understand how to set-up our monthly bank statements to map the Standard Bank Statement File in the External File Assistant? What are the main components that my file MUST include in order for IFS to read the data and match it to the posted cash transaction? Can it be an Excel file? I am using IFS Applications 8 for reference and would like to utilize the automatic bank reconciliation feature.Visuals of how you have your bank statements set-up for this process would be helpful as I’m stuck!Thank you!
Hello everyone,Does anyone know how to write the URL to properly apply the filter “Cost Invoice” for invoices in the posting proposals window? When I press my lobby element I want to list only invoices with this specific status message. This is the filter I want applied to the lobby element. Current setup:The lobby data source is very basic and only lists invoices in with the above status and their invoice no. The lobby data element url counts the different invoices and lists them as a counter - also very basic. Currently the Web Access URL looks like this:‘page/PostingProposals/List?searchcontext=MessageId:$MESSAGE_ID$’but it dosen’t filter out the cost invoices, it shows everything in the posting proposals window - its like the filter parameter is not properly triggered. Initially we tried with the “filter” parameter instead of the “searchcontext” one but we had no luck with that one either and now we’ve run out of ideas.Can any of you smart guys help with this?
Is there a list of known problems that we could look at before submitting a ticket to IFS support? It would be great to evaluate whether it’s a known issue before opening up a ticket.
HiI have a client who just went to IFS 10. They have an customer order that was created in IFS 9. There was an advance invoice created and one advance payment made to the order. The final advance payment was posted, they did not clear the CUPIA at that time and it did not apply to the transaction. Instead they just posted the cash side of the entry using the Deferral cash account and that removed the balance in the GL. This left the CUPIA still open. They are now in IFS 10 and are trying to close the CUPIA. They have done a rollback that parked the payment. They tried to do a customer offset and received the following error. The CUPIA is still open and now the final invoice has an open balance of the 7,155.They have gone back into IFS 9 and did the same steps that were done in IFS 10 and they were able to create the offset. Any thoughts or suggestions on what can be done?
We are IFS hosted.In IFS Apps 9 UPD 1, on the Solution Manager -> Security -> Users -> Active Directory User Integration screen, there is a Primary LDAP Server listed.We need to change this server. I know when we updated the password for the service account listed on this screen, we lost IFS access and IFS (who hosts our system) had to stop/restart some services for IFS to work again.Do we need to coordinate with IFS to change the LDAP server name? Or are we able to do that with no other impacts?
Hi, We have special characters in a file (attached in .zip).Dev. Studio cannot deploy it, saying: First error location is highlighted.On the other hand PL/SQL Developer has no problem with it when deploying.Also standard deployment/delivery procedure gives us no error for this.The file is already in UTF-8, according to for instance, Notepad++.Dev Studio version is in the picture.What should we do to be able to deploy it from Dev., Studio?
New IFSCloud user here. I need help analyzing inventory issued and inventory replenished during a period. I have no clue where to begin my analysis. I have reviewed the “Inventory Transactions History” report/screen export and believe this can be determined by the “Transaction Code Description” of which there are 33. Specifically, inventory issued = “Issue From Inventory” and inventory replenished = “Receipt into Inventory”.
When scheduling an IFS Operational report like the MC Customer Ledger Detailed Age Analysis which has a date parameter that’s typically set to today’s date (Date of Analysis), is it possible to increment the date with each run in Aurena 22R Cloud environments? In IEE, the use of #TODAY# in the parameter is allowed. This allows the parameter to increment with each scheduled run. In Aurena 22R Cloud, when choosing “Today” on the calendar, the current date is populated and continues to be the date that the scheduled report uses when it runs. Is there a workaround for this when scheduling Out-of-the-Box IFS Operational reports?

Hi,The documentation on NotifyMe App, describes a step to “Register the Mobile App”.Is there a document explaining the process? [IFS Cloud - 23R1 UPD 6] My Status:I have created the Azure Notification Hub. And the notifications are received to the Notification Hub.Which means the Notifications are sent from IFS Cloud successfully to the notification hub. i.e. Application parameters in IFS Cloud are correctly defined. The Notification Hub metrics shows that the requests have failed. Understandably this is due to not setting up the Google and Apple settings which requires keys from the development team.Thank you,Sanjaya
Hi, Can someone explain the purpose of the Address Setup screen in Enterprise Basic Data? Even when the User defined Row Length is set to 35, I can see Addresses 3 and 4 filled in up to 100 characters. It seems Addresses 1 and 2 have no bearing on this setup anyway
