Hi Team,

After feeding the manifest file, my outlook is not synching with CRM data.

Is this because below setup is missing ?

is this a must setup for On premises Cloud installation ?

Hi @Ashni Nayanthara ,

The register app in Azure AD portal info refers to the outlook calendar sync so that is not required for the CRM-panel. In the technical documentation for the CRM-panel it is mentioned under Limitations that EWS is used for On-Premise. When generating the manifest file, you should select the On-Premise option.

@Annjse  thanks for your feedback

I have used on-premise manfiest file and still nothing loads, any leads on it ?

Further what calendar sync does is, synching IFS business calendar and outlook calendar together with business activities, meetings etc ? Thus, end of the day isn’t it  part of CRM panel?

@Ashni Nayanthara We have actually noticed that it sometimes takes time to load the panel or that it does not load at all and we are doing some improvements to avoid that issue. We encountered the problem when the network was slow so maybe this can be due to a connection issue. I assume the login dialog does not appear when you click on the CRM-panel icon, or? Can you right-click on the crm-panel and select Inspect to see if there is any information?
As a workaround you can also try to use Save to CRM or Send&Save since that might trigger the login dialog to load.

The Outlook Calendar Sync can be used to sync outlook appointments with business activities. You use the CRM-panel to link the business activity to the appointment so the sync is part of CRM-panel but it requires more configurations. All info in the technical documentation is not relevant if you only use the panel without the sync.

@Annjse

This this is the exact issue and system still does not pop-up logging. Workaround is unresponsive too :(

I wonder whether there is issue with Manifest file and this is the inspect error I get :

“was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window's load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate `as` value and it is preloaded intentionally.”

Hi @Annjse ,

Good news finally. I was able to edit working CRM panel’s manifest file as per not working environment’s details. Now CRM panel works in outlook. It seems issue is with environment and how it generate manifest file.

Thanks for your kind assistance.
