right clicks on Expense Report, “Mail Expense Form”. An error pops up saying “Your default mail client either isn’t set or can’t handle the request”.

I am getting the following error when I right click on the expense report right clicks it and chooses “Mail Expense Form”. An error pops up saying “Your default mail client either isn’t set or can’t handle the request”.Any idea?

IFS Part Configurator and Part Serialization

Hello, We are currently not using IFS part configurator and part serialization. We tried to teach ourselves in our test environment but haven’t been successful. Does anyone have a recommendation to get started with part configurator and serializing those parts? Thank you!

Development with a user except IFSAPP

Hello everyone, Is anyone know how to create a user with all priviliges are same with IFSAPP ?I want to use that user to connect database in IFS Developer Studio and develope anything.I duplicate IFSAPP and create new user. But I’m getting some errors which mean the user cannot access some sys packages. You can see example in attachments .Do I have to grant for these packages one by one?

CRM Companion Initilization

We have installed the TAS, we have downloaded the CRM Companion TouchApp. When the user logins for the first time the initilization process hangs. For hours now it won’t move forward. The CRM application Touch App entities have a built-in filter to only sync user assigned entities.

IFS application screens recording & automation

Dear team, I am completely new to IFS ERP. And here is a something I am struggling with.Do we have any mechanism in IFS ERP similar to that SAP ERP where we record screen and playback them to automate iterative processes. We have requirement to generate large amount of test data in a day or so. We are using traditional UI automation which is taking huge amount of time to navigate through all screens in scope and then create something usable. Appreciate if you have great ideas to make this easy. Please note that we are not using IFS Aurena.

First Time Match - suggestions

We are trying to improve our First Time Match rate for supplier invoices. I am trying to us the PO/receipt reference more for stock items, but finding this is a difficult process for non-stock items and supplier won’t always quote a delivery ref etc for these. Is there any suggestions on best practice for improving these?

Suggestions on how to restore a set of tables from a backup to a Production DB

Using all available options to find support. Running IFS Apps10 UPD8We recently moved our document management repository from Database to Shared Directory. An unexpected problem came out of that. A scheduled migration job we were using to clean up- bad doc man entries prior to the move (because they caused the migration to fail) was run in PROD and while it worked with the database repository, under Shared Directory - it deleted all of our document management entries.This happened over the weekend. When it was discovered this morning, we shut all users out and we are trying to recover. I have an open case with IFS but I’m going on 3 hours with no response. We did confirm the documents are still in the shared directory, so it looks like on the db records were cleared.I do have IT restoring a weekend back that happened just prior to this happening. From what I can tell, the views (really their underlying tables) I need to recover are:DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCE DOC_REFERENCE_OBJECT DOCUME

Client scripting - setControlEnabled on iOS

Hello I have a client script utilizing setControlEnabled. The script turn fields on the Mobile device into ReadOnly or ReadWrite, based on certain paramenters (task.task_type). The script works perfectrly on Android, but does not work on iOS.Is there a workaround for this issue? Is this a system bug?regardsBertel

Need some assistance regarding the core functionality of 'FSM Mobile' client’s 'Task Note List'. One of the customers (Ericsson) reported the following issue on the PROD environment. "The mobile app is showing task notes in what appears to be a random order instead of being chronologically ordered from newest to oldest. It shows , with notes shown in the order - 1 hour ago, 4 hours ago, 2 hours ago, 2 hours ago"There were no configs or client scripts found that could relate in customer solution and in core environment it's not replicable. Could anyone please share inputs of how this sorting mechanism works in the FSM mobile core?

Zero Value customer invoice

Is there any way of blocking zero value invoices being sent? We have had one or two created and have been sent out automatically as we e-mail a batch, can we select an option that won’t send any of these?

Quality Control Inventory Analysis Reported date can be a past date?

Hi,Is there a way to make the Reported date to be a past date?The Japanese help says this field is automatically filled, i.e., the present date, but I want to have the past date.Seems a calendar can be shown and select a date in the past, but not reflected. Kind regards,Kokubo

Perform ABC, Frequency and Lifecycle Classification

I ran Perform ABC, Frequency and Lifecycle Classification for the first time in a test environment. We have been on IFS for 15 months. A majority of our items changed to C even though Inventory Basic Data is set to I aggregate inventory every month. Is there anything else I need to do before running Perform ABC, Frequency and Lifecycle Classification? Do I need to close Statistics Periods? Is there any way to print the logic that was used in calculating the new ABC code? This is our first time doing this and I’d like to this information for documentation purposes and for audit purposes.
