Employee Payment Information

It’s great having Payment Information section in the Employee Masterfile which allows to define multiple bank accounts with different Value Types. However, if the customer uses the Expense Payment process in the Expense Management module, then the bank details needs to be defined under the Property Codes, as the relevant Property Codes has to be connected to the Employee Payment Methods Basic Data. Defining the same information in 2 different places in the employee Masterfile is just a duplication of data and during the data migrations and integrations 2 places needs to be updated. Is there a way to generate the employee payment files by using the Payment Information defined under the compensation data without using the Property Codes? Thanks

Crystal reports developer crashes trying to add view.

We are tryng to modify a report and requries to add a view currently not present . As soon as we trying to open the source, Crystal Report crashes compeltely no error. We are using Crystal rpeorts XI R2 and IFS Apps 9 Does anybody had have a similar experience? or any idea where can we start looking at? Thanks,

cancel and create an invoice with period allocation

using the cancel and create function, Do you know what happens to the prior month’s allocation if we say yes/no? The problem we have is that we will need to split the invoice into 2 invoices . If we say NO will the allocation be completely removed and what about the previous months allocation? Would that reverse to the current period? also, have you used the cancel and create function on invoice that is matched to a po and has period Allocation ?

Organization code/name can not show up in Employees for Inactive status

We just upgraded from IFS9 to IFS10 in Mar, for Inactive employee ID, their organization code/name can not be shown up in “Employees” list, which have data in “Employee file” after right button navigation. Please help check where we need to configurate or set up? For inactive supervisor, who had left company, and it was set up as inactive, but it still show up in “supervisor” field under original subordinate’s “employee file”, any other need to configurate? please advise.ThanksSusan

Auto Reservation Supplier Material Purchase order

Hello IFS Community!We’re in IFS 9, and attempting to figure out how to deal with an issue. We are having parts assembled at an outside vendor, but we are providing the parts out of our inventory (consignment). We have been defining the Purchase parts as Buildable with the appropriate parts underneath them.After PO release, in the Supplier Material for Purchase Order Line the parts required are listed. This is exactly what we want. However, it is very frequent that we don’t have all the parts listed. Surprisingly, you can’t peg incoming material so we have to check this list daily. We have currently about 30-40 different consignment PO’s in the system currently, so this task of manually checking can be rather arduous.I’m not sure if this is the best method and we are about to proceed with development of a custom script that will go line to line and reserve for us. If the order is fully reserved a custom event action will trigger an email. The development cost is being quoted at $10k an

Revenue Recognition

Hello. We set up the project below, with only 1 activity, where planned revenue is 100K and planned cost is 70K so that planned margin is 30%. Actual cost is 85K all of which was booked in one period. We set the financial project to a Project Type of Capitalize Rev/Exp and Revenue Recognition Method of POC Revenue First. When we run revenue recognition, it recognizes revenue of 100K and cost of only 70K even if actual cost is 85K. In this overbudget scenario, we would like to recognize revenue of 100K (ie. the planned revenue) and cost of 85K (ie. the actual revenue). However, in an underbudget scenario (let’s assume planned revenue is 100K, planned cost is 70K and actual cost is 65K), we would like the cost recognized to be 65K (ie. actual cost) and revenue recognized to be 92,857.14 (ie. the revenue needed so that the planned margin of 30% is achieved). I would appreciate any thoughts on how we could achieve this. The IFS version we are using is Apps 9 U13. Is there a particular

ContextIn the Revenue Recognition process, capitalization and revenue recognition is launched for period 6 of the accounting year.788 projects are identified by the system.The capitalization step is processed without error raised by IFS.Expected vouchers are created for capitalization.The revenue recognition is processed without error raised by IFS.Expected vouchers are created for revenue recognition except for 7 projects. IssueThose 7 projects are setup as follow:They all have invoices (advance invoices -> actual revenues) but no cost.Example: In the Periodical Capitalization and Revenue Recognition Project screen, the actual revenues and costs are calculated as expected:The capitalization voucher is also generated as expected:Issue: However, no revenue recognition voucher is generated to balance the actual revenue, i.e. the Actual and Recognized Revenue Difference seems to be ignored. Not correct capacity in Resource Analysis

All, It looks like an Resource has a capacity of 8,5 hours in the Resource Analysis window, but it should be in fact 8 hours.The employee is set with the following schedule, so 8 hours of work between 8:30 and 17:00 o’clockWith this setup I expect 8 hours per day as the capacity, but in the resource analysis windw it shows 8,5 hours:Do I miss anything, or is this not correct in IFS (IFS Cloud)? Moved picked part on shop floor

Hi,I’m working with BPA on IFS Cloud 21R2 to automate the creation of a transport task when a pick list line is created.it work pretty well with an event connected with the creation of record on the IFS entity “ShopMaterialPickLine” and a BPA with a call of a projection InventoryPartInStockReservationsHandling.MoveResWithTransportTask.So, when the pick list is created, the transport task is created automatically and you can move the stock between the stock location and the shop floor location via a transport task (via Wadaco for example).Then, in a second step, the stock out of the component can be done. So, it’s perfect for some logistic process in factory (for example when you move an entire pallet to the shopfloor and consume a part of it on the shop order) But, my BPA workflow is working only for one line of the pick list.If there is more than one line on the pick list (2 lots on one component or 2 lines of components), the screen of pick list creation is blocked with a message (se

Using Staged Billing and Payment Schedule in combination with Payment Terms

Hi, I want to use Staged Billing for Customer Orders and Payment Schedule for Purchase Orders, but I ran into a problem with the cashflow forecast. For example:I have a Customer Order with one line with a total of €10.000. It is divided into 3 installments:10%, with a payment term of 5 days 60% with a payment term of 30 days 30% with a payment term of 60 daysSee below the Staged Billing. But when I generate the cashflow forecast, IFS makes the forecast based on the Expected Approval Date (as seen above, this is correct) plus the Payment Terms on the Customer Order. But the Payment Terms is 60 days, which is standard for this customer. So it will not consider the different payment terms per stage. Is it possible to combine the Staged Billing with differt payment terms per stage?
