Our environment is IFS Application 10 Update 8. When our standard users run the SetupAurenaAgent.msi they receive the Interrupted error message every time. If the SetupAurenaAgent.msi is run as a local administrator it succeeds but the installation is done under the local administrators account so its useless to the standard user. Standard users have full access to their AppData directory and they are able to install the IEE Agent successfully. We suspect maybe the installer is trying to modify some registry keys that require administrator access. Regards,William Klotz

Hi All, Expecting your valuable advice on this Unable to add back date instant invoice with expired tax codes. The invoice date was 2023-04-30.The applicable tax code 15%-VAT has been expired in the system by 2024-02-01.We were able to do this kind of entries before. Even though the tax codes are expired we were able enter the vouchers for previous periods with out any issue. Now there is a error popping up. If we change the tax validity to future date, we could do the entry.

IFS Cloud offers Page Configuration to (mainly) hide tabs, sections and fields not relevant for a customer. This Page Configuration can be stored in an ACP and exported to be saved outside IFS as a backup and to deploy to other environments. It would however be good if this backup would also be available in a readable format, to be able to re-apply the Page Configurations when running into issues (for example after SU/RU and rebasing). Anyone who knows how to convert the ACP export format (XML/JSON?) to Excel?

Hello IFS Community !I have a question re. salvage part handling in multi-level repair orders : say I set Repair action to ‘Replace’ status on a serialized subassembly within a product’s multi-level repair order. The subassembly part that needs replaced will therefore appear in the ‘Salvage Part’ tab and I can run a shop order to manufacture its replacement.Now when all is said and done, IFS won’t let me close the multi-level repair order until ‘all salvage parts are received’ … but what happens if I don’t want to receive said part in inventory because it is broken / non-functional anymore and it is to go into the trash (or recycling) bin ? Isn’t there a way to leave the salvage part in the repair order so it goes out into the ether when I close said order ? Do I have to receive it then scrap it from inventory ?Thank you in advance for any help you’ll be able to provide :)
Hello IFS Community !I have a question re. multi-level repair orders… our finished products + at least one structure level on subassemblies have parameter Supply Type = ‘DOP’ in Inventory Part > Planning Data tab. Therefore, in a shop order for a finished product, in Materials tab, the component lines for these subassemblies have parameter Supply Type = ‘DOP Order’Now, when I have a multi-level Repair shop order stemming from a CRO order for that finished product, and I set one of these subassemblies to Repair action = ‘Replace’ status, IFS creates the corresponding component line in the Materials tab… however, the component line is created with parameter Supply Type = ‘Invent Order’, which is in contradiction with the ‘DOP’ Supply Type for that subassembly part and causes me all sorts of headaches as to how to launch production for that part !Any clue / idea how to solve (or circumvent) this issue ??
