Navigation menu

Is there any way to manage the FSM Mobile menu which is displayed on the left hand side of the screen when the device (a tablet in this case) is in landscape mode? We’d like to manage contents or disable entirely if that isn’t possible.We thought this was governed by the Debrief Menu but it appears not!Thanks

Cannot change the address ID on a request that has part needs in a non-entered status.

Hi AllWe set the Part need status to Complete when we consider the part need as Obselete. However when we try to change address on the Place which has an Obselete records we get the following error, ‘Cannot change the address ID on a request that has part needs in a non-entered status.’ This is baseline error by FSM. Could we allow address changes although part need status was set to complete ? E.g. - App Param or custom business rules ?

B2B Supplier Portal Attachments

Has anyone out there recently started having problems with communicated PO’s not showing PDF copies of PO’s on the B2B Supplier Portal? Everything for us was working fine for years until recently. Now, when our puchasing department communicates a PO, it may or may not send the PDF of the PO to the portal. It happens randomly and it hard to reproduce. If a user goes back into a failed PO and re-communicates the PO, it will work without anything having changed otherwise. It can happen at any time of the day, to any user, and to any supplier. We recently patched IFS and, coincidentally, this is about the timeframe when the problem started, though we can’t say for sure that is related.

Demand planner adjusted Forecast - Imported for MSL1

Hi ,I have a DP forecast which I adjusted manually . Then it was set to ‘reviewed’ (tested both in DP client and as well Demand Planner page) . Afterwards I ran the job “Import Demand Planning Forecasts”In MSL1 forecast , I can only see the original DP forecast (sys forecast) but not the adjusted forecast. What am I missing ? How make a non-editable field in assistant window for manual issue from work order ?

Transfer of MO from one customer to another

is there any option in IFS to transfer the MO from one customer to another. The reason being when a aircraft is under maintenance and the ownership of the aircraft is changed from A to B. note: only partial maintenance activities are carried out in the old ownership. Now the MRO wants to bill the new aircraft owners for the maintenance activities carried on the old ownership as well. closing the open MO and raising a new MO is a time consuming process. is there any alternate option to tackle this requirement?

Task completed in mWO not updating to Work Done

I cannot isolate why some tasks that are completed in mWO are not updating the Work Task to Work Done status. In the example below, we have a 2-task work order, with each task having 1specified person resource demand (no other demands). Each task was assigned to the same resource as the demand, and then transferred to mobile. Task was completed in mWO, no outstanding steps or materials, etc., then returned. Reviewing the task shows the following results:

Business Reporter Data Mart option

Hi ExpertsI created a Business Report for reporting Project Cost based on a accounting structure. If I set the paremeter for project ID to multi Value and select several project then i takes me more than 15 min If uncheck the box and set to single value then it takes the BR less than 1 min per project. So i end up faster when i select every project one by one. Now i tried it with Data Mart but ended up with the following error message. Neverthless i tought it would be faster now with data mart. now i am not sure if the data mart really took effect since the performance was not better then setting to online My questionhow do I setup the data mart correctly. Do i need to define something in the information source? Best RegardsSophal

Document Attachments and new Outlook

Does IFS support “New Outlook” - we have some users that have switched over to the new Outlook and everytime they try to open an attachment they get the pop up stating “This action isn’t supported yet - The New Outlook for WIndows doesn’t currently support this action. You can switch back to Classic Outlook for WIndows and try again”

Can anyone share the FSM - UPS integration design document? FSM6 has a standard connector to UPS, but I can't find any documentation of it. A customer requested this documentation this week. Likely, such a document got released with an older FSM release.

Tool instance usage report when performing a quality analysis

Dear Community,The screen “tool usage report” (IFS Cloud 23.2.2) analyzes the tool instances usage reported only when performing a shop order operation. I thought that this screen listed all the usage even in an analysis result 😕So, I would like to know if there is an other screen or a way to identify the tool instances used in the quality analysis as this information is stored in the data point inspection results. How to use Workflow LoggerDelegate?

In some examples and part of the IFS documentation I came across the following:com.ifsworld.fnd.bpa.process.LoggerDelegate as JavaScriptIt supposes to help me debugging a flow.However I can't find how to use it (I don't mean to prepare the task in the flow, that I'm capable of).I want to know if I need to turn on Watch? Do I see anything happening in the IFS Cloud > Debug > Enable Debug Console or the Log Window? Do I have to go down a level deeper in the network activities of my browser to see additional logging? Do I have to prepare an unique etag variable that can be used/seen?Any support is helpful. Thanks

How can i create new LU ?

I want to add a column to the table in the window that was previously opened as custom. From right click context menu=> Custom Objects => Fields => New but there is no connection to any LU. I think LU is not opened for this tablo. To create new LU I opened Solution Manager=> System Information And Utilities =>Logikal Units=> Logikal Unit window. But the new LU button is not active? Is there any documantation for opening new LU. ?Thanx.
