Users are able to change project ID on Authorized Days

Hi,We have set the below company properties to restrict employees editing their project time reporting after time card is authorized. In this example, particular Cost Accounting box in Project Transactions is set to ‘Approved’ automatically for particular employee since his time card on 19.01.2023 is authorized. However, employee is not allowed to edit time reporting (hours), but he is able to change the project ID, activity or report code on particular date even though his time card is authorized. How can we restrict this? Is there a setup or control? Please advise. Thank you and Best RegardsNimesh

Micro Cache performance in quick reports

During the process of upgrading from Apps 9 to Cloud we have noticed a number of Get- apis have been updated to use a micro-cache method rather than a sub query:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/060_development/027_base_server_dev/060_performance/010_plsql-performance/001_micro_cache/#micro_cache_micro_cache_array_implementation The performance hit on a quick report using these apis as been quite dramatic. Is there a was to speed these calls up? We obviously have the option to put sun-queries direct in the report but there could be lots of them. Thanks.

Create New Order/Quote Button

Hello We have had buttons added to the Customers and Sales Specific screens, so that when one customer is selected, a button appears at the top saying ‘Add Quote’ or ‘Add Order’. However, these buttons currently just take you to the Customer Order / Sales Quotation screens and you have to manually create the order/quote. Is there a way that the information for the customer selected on the Customers / Sales Specific screens can be pushed into the Order/Quote entry screens so the information is pre populated? e.g.Go to Customers Search for ‘cust123’ Select the row Add Order/Add Quote buttons appear Click Add Order Takes you to the Customer order screen with a new order opened and ‘cust123’ details populating the orderThanks

Change queue for application messages when sent via Custom Event

I’m testing 24R1 in preparation for an upgrade from App10.In App10 i used custom events with pl/sql action to send application messages to an internal SOAP web-service. I understand pl/sql actions will probably be removed soon, so i’m looking for an alternative.I’m trying out Application Message actions; however i have a need to send my messages using a queue of their own. But it seems to me all application messages sent from a Custom Event Action are using the queue NOTIFICATIONS. If i create a routing rule to change the queue i get an error message on the application message “Matched routing rule XXX is not defined for queue 'NOTIFICATIONS’ that is already defined on message #nnn”.How can i change which queue is used for specific messages sent from a custom event action?

External voucher for automatic tax postings with AP1/AP2

Hello.I’m wondering if there is any way to create external voucher and make use of automatic accounting rule AP1/AP2 for Tax Received/Tax Disbursed. When such voucher is created via Voucher Entry manually, it’s enough to insert 2 rows and additional 2 rows for default tax account are created automatically with the usage of AP1/AP2. Whereas external voucher is blocked by imbalance error.Maybe there is some way to insert the rows externally from .csv file to Voucher Entry and modify them there to use the effect of AP1/AP2. I tried Migration Job, but still the rows appear only in View Rows and not in Voucher Postings. Thank you in advance for your tips :)

Issue with Installing Jasper Studio 9.0.0 for custom reports

With the upgrade to Maintenix 8.3 SP10, we need to upgrade JasperReports Server to version 9.0.0, this is fine, we’ve already installed it on our Dev box. We have a lot of custom reports and we have used Jasper Studio in the past to develop and publish reports. Unfortunately, it looks like Jasper Studio 9.0.0 now needs an internet connection to log into the Jaspersoft community before we can use it. Our Dev box (and all our servers) are not allowed to be on the internet due to ITAR constraints, we also aren’t allowed to install software on our local machines due to our company security policy. We have a lot of security restrictions that make this process difficult.We’re talking to our Infrastructure team to try and find a solution and are wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and how they have solved it.

Survey Filtering

Has anyone done any configuration on generating affected user surveys where you can limit the number of surveys a user can receive if they’ve already received one within x amount of days? We don’t want to bombard our higher volume users with multiple surveys if they’ve already completed one in recent days etc.Nothing we can find on that currently beyond needing to potentially leverage professional services for something that otherwise seems like it would be in place for a customer somewhere already.Thanks

Query Flags and Default Values in Quick Reports in IFS Cloud

I’d like to get an official statement from IFS when the Query Flags and Default Values functionalities for Quick Reports become available in IFS Cloud. Since these functionalities are part of the official Technical Documentation for Cloud – saying they are currently unavailable – I suppose that sooner or later they will be (re)implemented in Cloud as well.Quick Reports - Technical Documentation for IFS Cloud - We have a bunch of Quick Reports in Apps 10 with query flags and default values included, and the usage of these functions (specially the multi-selection and LoV options) save a lot of working time for our users every day, so we’d like to use these in Cloud too as soon as possible.

Hi Community, We work for e French company, an european exportator of goods, and they need to creat an intrastat every month.We got 2 questions concerning this functionnality :- Why the format of the CSV of the intrastats report is not at the format of PRODOUANE (the french customs) ? The column are in english and not in the right order.- The goods under a warranty (at 0 €) shipped, are reassembled in the intrastat report at 0€. But in the european laws, it should reassamble at the sale price they have.

GST report in India

Hi,Can I know whether it the standard solution in IFS app 10 with India localization activated provides the facility to generate GST reports as required by the legislation ? Or else is it required to use the business reporter tool and create GSTR1 and automate the submission via a 3rd party middleware ? If not best thing is to do manually by exporting tax transactions and analyze and submit to tax authorities ? Please advise.

The Resource already exists

In IFS Cloud, I migrated a large set of Resource groups.When I try to add a Person to a Resource Group, I get an error message stating : The Resource already exists. I get the same error when I try to add a new resource group manually. Has anyone encountered this error before ?

Lobby: Wildcard filters on projection-based datasources

I have created a projection-based lobby datasource. It includes a filter parameter, which works for a specific value (e.g., “20”) but also with a wildcard (“%” returns all rows).Now I use this datasource in a lobby element and the wildcard filtering doesn’t work anymore. Setting the element parameter to “20” still returns the filtered list, however “%” does not return any data. Re-creating the lobby element didn’t help.I need the wildcard to initially show the lobby element with all data and later filter when navigating from a different lobby.Plus a general question: After updating a lobby datasource, is there any cache refresh necessary to see the changes in the lobby element (same question for the lobby page)?

Hi there, i have two questions:1. when moving a task in the console from one resource to another, can we simply drag and drop the task, or do we need to manually break the work assignment? 2. When having to move an activity from the same resource today that has not yet been accepted or started, can we simply drag and drop the assignment to the next day without having to break the work assignment?

I am working in a Sales Orders view page and want to save different types of information criteria with different Columns. Can i do this?Example a search of released orders with the need of only showing two columns or list view, save. Create a second search with different criteria and only want to see 8 columns.Seems line the search and saves keep the same columns.

When to use Payment Schedule vs Milestone/Stage Payment for Purchase Orders?

These two functions appear to accomplish very similar things in IFS. Are the only differentiations that one manages at PO header level (other at PO line level) and templating option (vs not)? If so why does Payment Schedule exist and not been deprecated? Curious to hear how others are using one or the other or both at same time.

how should be created PO with 100 lines and with different prices per pcs with 30% payment in advance?for services with 1 line and simple description we use milestones - for that line we add particular milestone with some %;but what about for materials? 30% payment in advance concerns the total amount of the PO; it means 30% concerns each line of 100; so for each line should be added milestones?
