Hi,

Can I know whether it the standard solution in IFS app 10 with India localization activated provides the facility to generate GST reports as required by the legislation ? Or else is it required to use the business reporter tool and create GSTR1 and automate the submission via a 3rd party middleware ? If not best thing is to do manually by exporting tax transactions and analyze and submit to tax authorities ? 
Please advise.

The GST filing and integration with GST portal is not standard out of the box within the India Extension ( GET) 

My understanding is based on the analysis done for an upgrade project in India . So yes, you have to use the tax Ledger, to generate the data as required for the update and then upload to the government portal.

Do check for updates in the further IFS Cloud versions ( Extension updates )  . To the best of my knowledge, this was not planned to be introduced.
