Document Attachments and new Outlook

Does IFS support “New Outlook” - we have some users that have switched over to the new Outlook and everytime they try to open an attachment they get the pop up stating “This action isn’t supported yet - The New Outlook for WIndows doesn’t currently support this action. You can switch back to Classic Outlook for WIndows and try again”

Cancelled PO - pegging still showing on Material Shop Order Line and can't delete item

We have 2 material lines on our shop order we wanted to delete. The PO was cancelled and the items unassigned from Project however the pegging is still showing to the PO so it won’t let us.Any idea how to fix this

Business Mail - attachments - can they be brought out

Does anyone know if when bringing over an email into Business Mail or even from Business Mail to Business Opportunity if you can somehow separate the attachment that was in the email outside of the actual email attachment as well - so it would look something like this The original email and then the Purchase Order or RFQ that was attached inside the email brought out separately as a PDF

High amount of unrelated Business Mails attaching to Customer Orders

We have an event that copies the Business Mail over to Business Opportunity in attachments - which then flows to Customer Order once created.We have examples of Customer Orders where there is up to 98 attachments of emails that have been copied from Business Mail that DO NOT have any link to the Customer Order. i.e. the extra business mails that are copied are not linked to the Business Opportunity or order - see screenshots below

Resource / user cannot enter time against work order

User is (sometimes) getting error “Incorrect Time Entry. You are not a resource for this Work No 14510 Task 51913” However checking the details he is a resource against that WO and Task. This is only happening some of the time - not all the time and I can’t figure out what the issue could be. Any help would be appreciated

Purchase Authorization Rule for 2 steps

I am trying to add a new Authorization Rule that will apply to only one Supplier Stat Group - which I have built. The part I can’t get to work is I want this rule to apply as a second set to an existing Buyer rule.e.g. Any and all of our purchase orders will have this “Buyer” rule run on it - what I want is for the new rule to also apply to these PO’s if it falls into the Specific Supplier Stat Group Hope someone can help

Returned project item in inventory cannot be moved or scrapped

We have an item that is showing available in inventory - this item is on a project and it is a returned item. The project is closed and the system will not allow us to scrap, transfer to standard inventory or move the item - we get the error “You may only change the inventory quantity balance for an activity that is in status Released or Completed”. We are also not able to open the project Please help

Error on Moving to One Location receipt

Trying to move a receipt (after inspection) to a picking location and getting the error “The quantity issued for part 2190239 on site 2 at location 1WP should not be greater than the available quantity. Have no idea what this means or what it is asking for - please help!!!!!

Service Contract Objects and Work Orders

We are having an issue where when we use an item from Business Opportunity to Customer Order then form a Work Order - if the object id is already on a “different” Service contract it is automatically linking them. Are we missing a step on how not to make this happen

Moving multiple lines to Transport task

Right now if you select multiple parts and move to TT, it creates different TT for each part. We would like to have all selected lines under one TT. We usually do not have our parts ‘Serialized’ but if there is a Serialized part maybe it can create a different TT for the serialize part and one TT for the non-serialized part. Has anyone come up with a way of doing the above request?

Totals on Business Opportunity Revisions

In Business Opportunity I have a user that is questioning the Totals when it comes to RevisionsUser is saying that the bottom portion of the Business Opp used to reflect the totals of that revision - we have noticed since UPD14 that the totals only reflect that of the most recent revision - is this the way it is supposed to work

Error re manual pegging when trying to cancel PO line

User cancelled line on Customer Order first - now when we try to cancel line on PO we get the error that manual peggings exist for this line - unpeg before cancelling except we can’t unpeg because line is already cancelled on CO.Help!!! How do I find the record to unpeg

Foundation1 user error when trying to approve a Business Opportunity

One specific user is causing this issue (so far) - when this specific user is the main representative on a Business Opportunity - when a manager tries to Approve the Business Opportunity we get the error “The Foundation1 user “SM4124” does not exist” I checked the user set up and the person record and everything looks fine We are on Apps10 UPD10

Saved search not showing up on Navigation Tree or in My Saved Searches

I have a user that is experiencing the issue where she creates a saved search however is unable to see in Nav tree (to make a shortcut) and also does not show up in My Saved Searches either She has a bunch that are showing up when I look at the detail on her profile however she does see those ones Any idea’s as to why would be appreciated We are on Apps10 UP10

On the "Jobs" screen - if you change valid to to date passed it still shows up in vacancies

So we set the Valid to date to in the past (10/31/2021) however when entering a new vacancy we are still able to select that Job How do we make it so the job is no longer selectable and even better how do we hide it from the LOV

Aurena Permissions vs IEE Permissions

We are just starting to role out Aurena to certain Functional Groups and I’m wondering how the permissions work. I built a permission just for Aurena but am finding that the users also have access to what they have permission to view in IEE. Is this the way it is supposed to work?
