IFS9Is there a way to easily compare Permission Sets and find which permission set has missing accesses granted? My two situations:Recently copied PROD to TST. Changes were made in TST, but not in PROD and changes not documented. Is there an easy way to determine what was changed in TST? We realize we could copy TST back to PROD, but we’d like to identify what this change was. Two Similar custom permissions sets created 9+ months ago. Can we compare them to each other to determine which ones have accesses the other doesn’t?We are using Apps9

Hello all, I am attempting to resolve an issue related to MRB cases for a single part. Currently, we have an MRB Inventory Location that material is moved to prior to the creation of an MRB Case. The issue I have is that in multiple instances, the same parts may require two MRB cases for nonconformance is. Below is an example of the process.: 100 parts moved to MRB location (PN 12345)50 of the 100 are related to nonconformance - Feature Size50 of the 100 are related to nonconformance - Surface Contamination Today, I can only create one MRB case for the entire 100. I must then make notes in the case to outline that there are actually two different reasons for containment of the parts. This also lead to labeling confusion as which parts have the specific nonconformance. Ideally, if you could simply create two MRB cases, one for each nonconformance, this would allow for correct labeling and management of the disposition for each group of 50 parts. I search on the page which has a header and body of table (like inventory part availability planning screen below), I then use a save search in context in the table below the header. This search is what I need others to have, is there a way of sharing it? Hi, I need to add a line into the Header of the SEPA file. it’s a constant, like company name. Please note SEPA is working fine - we just need to add a header line.We can’t figure it out.There is no “File Template ID” associated with it. Client Mapping is only columns. I’m stumped. Obviously, there’s a place where this information is added to the file, but where or how?Thanks!
Hi, we are running a single instance of IFS Apps 10 Aurena with multiple companies. Often these companies are in completely unrelated industries, or run very independently with no central body to manage data like vendors for example. If company A and company B both do business with vendor ABC, and we want to have two instances of this vendor set up so each company can independently manage their relationship with them, what is the best way to hide these duplicates from each company. As in if company A calls vendor ABC A-ABC and company B calls it B-ABC, we’d like to hide A-ABC from company B and B-ABC from company A so they can’t accidentally use the wrong vendor and to prevent clutter in their vendor lists.Thanks.

IFS Tracks tested: App9 and App10 [Haven’t really tested in the latest versions] For me, it dosen’t make sense to use the RMB option on the PO header / lines ‘Confirm with Differences Via Change Order’ since it really doesn't enforce a POCO, rather it does the job without a POCO. What do ya’ll think? I think it needs to be corrected. Hello!Is there a way of creating a Purchase Order with a direct delivery without use of a Customer Order using the supply code ‘purchase order dir’? Ideally would just like to create a manual Purchase Requisition and select order code 2 but IFS apps 10 seems not to allow this. Scenario is, need to buy one part number from supplier A and have goods delivered to supplier B who would then deliver to us under another part number

Hi! We implemented IFS apps 10 in my company just over a year ago. We still have many problems but one of the biggest is the system is constantly asking us to buy things we know we don’t need. (Garbage in garbage out of course!) My specific question is, ‘What is MRP Planned demand’. In the I P A P screen, it’s easy to understand why something is needed when the demand object is a shop order, or a customer order… But it’s baffling to continually see MRP planned demand. Especially when we know it’s not real demand. What does this mean?
Afternoon, we are using IFS APPs 10 and are creating new parts number for an existing paint system but wanted to know the cleanest way to transfer the existing material on stock from the old part number to the new part number while keeping traceability?the reason for the change in part number is because we need to use a different unit of measure, as we purchase a product in Litres which is sold in KG, convert into Litres and receive the stock, operators have to mix the product by weight (KG) and then issue in Litres. This can become very confusing and cause stock accuracy discrepancies.regardsJamie
Hi, how does one capture price breaks on a Supplier Agreement? It seems they can only be captured on a Supplier for Purchase Part record, on the price list tab. Given that Supplier Agreements sit on top of SFPP in terms of hierarchy if a part is included on an SA then anything on the SFPP is superseded.
Hi,One of our customers is experiencing an issue. MRP is creating purchase requisitions without any lines (part or no part), so only the purchase requisitions header. But, this is ad-hoc (this happens occasionally).Is there a way that MRP can create purchase requisitions without any lines ?I have checked whether there is any custom task to delete the PR lines of certain parts, but there’s no. Hello.Could you help me to answer our Customer’s question:………….we are using Transportation task to move stock from between companies/sites. however, although on the finance side this works fine for us on the inventory side it doesn't work well. mainly because Transport task only is to move material thats in inventory. what we need is to be able to see intercompany stock requirement and schedule production (MRP to see the demand) and then ship it to the other company using the Transport task.We tried using Distribution order but only issue is that Distribution order only allows us to schedule one material per Distribution Order. Also in a DO we have to create AR and AP invoices and payments althought all these transactions are intercompany. ………...
