Can anyone explain how Apps9 calculates the next count date? I’ve an example below that I can not fathom out how it has calculated it. Receipt Date is 27/10/2021, Last Activity Date is 11/01/2022 and Next Count Date is 31/03/2023 - the cycle interval is set at 360 (our aim is counted once a year).
Is there a setting to automatically allocate a addres ID when creating a new address at customers/suppliers in Aurena?We now have to define it manually (which seems ok during the configuration), but once we are live this seems pointless to manually have to set a address ID.

Hi I been trying to active the delivery Overhead but somehow it wont work. i Setup the Purchase Part with the delivery Overhead 10% from the last purchase Price purchase order is also created: definition of inventory part I have checked if there is a posting created in the Inventory Transaction history but there is no such overhead posting. I also checked the supplier invoice posting there is no overhead posting: then i checked the System Event for delivery Overhead setup. I cannot get the checkbox ticked since i get the error message: then i checked the Arrival Event and this is ok: Any Idea how i get the delivery Overhead posted? Best RegardsSophal

I have a scenario where we have a project with a connected customer order line for an assembly (manufactured part). In some cases, the design of the manufactured part will not be final when the customer order line is released and attached to the project activity. Whilst the product structures are ‘tentative’ or maybe the part is not transferred from engineering, MRP will obviously not plan for components further down the structure. However, some of the items may be long lead times and so we need to get these started. In order to achieve this we thought to manually raise a purchase requisition for long lead items and connect this to the same activity as the customer order line. The thought behind this is that we order the required long lead item, but it is ring-fenced for the correct activity. When the assembly part is designed and structures are made buildable it should be able to see the already created supply for the long lead time part.However, on initial testing of this process PMR
I have a user who can download and view a word document, but cannot open the embedded PDFs in the document. He does have view and edit access to the document class….I can both download, view, and open the embedded PDFs so it is not the document…I am stumped….anyone have suggestions on what to try?We are using Apps10 upd.14IEE
Hello, I want to post a transaction (e.g. Supplier Invoice) in a foreign currency and before completing the transaction (e.g., before paying for the invoice) I want to update the currency rates and run one currency revaluation to see how the system posts unrealized gain/loss to the GL on open AP. We had a problem with a purchase order. The user made a mistake in entering the quantity and as a result the purchase order was for 12 million euros but he didn't see it and as a result the order was sent to the supplier by automatic mail.How could we avoid this case? Is it possible to have an alert before the automatic sending?For example, create an event that alerts us that the amount is very high and to check if it's the right amount. We are using IFS Apps 8.0, We have Scrapped a Inventory part in IFS 8.0 Test environment.Initially the On hand qty was 6 and now it has changed to 0 since we’ve scrapped all 6 quantities.We have undergone this testing in ‘Scrap Inv part screen’ in Test environment.Is it possible to retrieve the scrapped 6 quantities back into IFS stock.I have checked through +ve counting in ‘Count per Inventory part’, Can this be a solution to this?Or is there any setting for doing undo scrap?Please let us know if there’s any bug ID or fix which is already in place or provided, will be really helpful.Hoping to hear from the team soon!

I have question regarding Planning Method B and On Hand quantities.We use planning method B for inventory management on higher volume items. When a customer order line is entered using “Invent Order” as the Supply Code, the parts from stock are reserved. This makes the On Hand Qty remain the same (until shipping the stock, if I understand correctly) and the Availably Qty drop.The issue I have is the Order Proposal is triggered by the On Hand Qty falling below the Order Point, rather than the Available Qty. So if I have 6 months lead time, by the time the On Hand Qty drops below the Order Point, I might already be too late to purchase more stock to avoid back order.Could perhaps someone explain the replenishment process behind Planning Method B and why it uses On Hand Qty instead of Available Qty?Thank you!
Hi All, I’m raising this IFS community post on behalf of a customer. The customer has raised an issue regarding the unavailability of the RMB option, “Electronic Payment Addresses” for the payment method CHK. Customer was already informed the following explanations through the case. CHK payment method doesn’t have an electronic payment address in the IFS application. This is the reason why this option is not available with the CHK payment method. For payment methods such as, SEPA, BACS, ISO22000, or ACH, this option is available.Customer needs to know the reason why some of the payment methods like CHK are not enabled for “Electronic Payment Addresses” option. Hello, I have been looking for help on the FIFO picking in IFS (for Customer Orders and Shop Orders). I am looking to confirm that when IFS generates a picklist, that it is directly the associate to the oldest stocking record so that we are using our oldest material and shipping our oldest product. Is there a way to verify this is properly configured in IFS Apps 10? Any guidance would be appreciated.
We have a supplier with a current inactive date as we had not done business with them for quite some time and we are now needing to purchase & process invoices for this supplier. When I attempt to remove the inactive date in the Supplier >Invoice tab I get an error saying the date is invalid…How do we reactive a supplier in Apps10?

After logging on to the main IFS start page, super users have the Search field at the top right available to type in, but most normal business users do not - it is greyed out and not possible to type anything into it. How is access to this controlled, so if needed we can grant the right security to non-super users who would want it?We have not been able to identify the object(s) that users need to be granted access to so they can use it. Dear community,I would like to know if someone uses, in IFS Cloud the fields reference number & reference type in the manufacturing routing operations.In fact, we are currently in Apps8 with a pending project of IFS Cloud upgrading and these fields are new notions which did not exist previously.
