@vlee14 Hello, Login to the application with Appowner(IFSAPP) credentials, go to the specific user and on the Permission Set definition view for that user, there is a tab for ActivitiesUnder Activities, there is an Activity for ClientApplication.RMB on the Activity ClientApplication and view Grantees, this will tell you the Permission Sets that have this activity included. it should be in the FND_RUNTIME permission set in order to access the client application. Incorrect Absence LIMIT USED calculation

@TopMalinG Hi Malinda,I came across the same issue and did a technical investigation on this, and found out that this is due a bugfix 162512 which is patched in UPD16. in that bug fix, there is a CURSOR ‘get_emp_absences’ is introduced in ‘Absence_Registration_API.Regenerate_Absence’ method where it takes the absence records not only for the day of absence, but before and after days as below in the screen shot. And to clarify that you are getting the same issue, please answer few questions.If customer using application version UDP16 or later? As per my investigation, this will happen when you do the time registration in Time Card window for the day when the next day is an Absence. for eg: 14th of October is already an absence day in the Absence window and when you are trying to add a time registration on 13th of October in the Time Card window for the same emp no, the limit used will be removed. is this the scenario for you? Stream was not readable when granting activities in IEE

Hi @Kalana Rathnayake I have seen that this issue might happend due to some resons. first, If you have a load balancer or an external proxy, then there is a chance that the client that initiates the request is closing before receiving a response. This is probably due to a timeout configuration set up in the proxy which you will have to increase so that it will wait longer for the response before closing.Second could be due to the your server has no enough free space. try to clean up the server space and try it out. Apart from those, this cold happen due to other reasons as well. in that case, a deep investigation would be needed. Best Regards, Kapilan

IFS Connect Message Queues

Hi @MitJamieB, Application Message Queues are developed in order to execute the jobs parallelly in different queues by the processor. If we consider one Queue, there also we can execute the more than one job parallelly by selecting a MAX_PROCESSES parameter in Setup IFS Connect window to more than 1.If you select 3 in MAX_PROCESSES for NOTIFICATIONS queue, then within a queue 3 jobs can be executed simultaneously. So even 1 job got failed, other 2 jobs will be executing and will pick other waiting jobs once the current job finish.But make sure the parameter job_queue_processes in database should be equal to the processes defined for all the Queues. I can understand you frustration on this and as I know there are not much functions to return a record set in core environment and most of the functions are designed to return specific data by passing primary key/s. Method to return User's emails

Dear @NMALKI , I have checked the APP10 core environment and found there is a window called “Person Access Group” and the line level is connected to the Person_Group_Assignment_Tab. I hope this is what you mentioned.But when consider your requirment to get all the person Id for a specific group through a function, it is not possible in core functions. I have checked the Get methods and there is no get method defined to return a set of records. So only possble way to do that by using sql statement like below,select person_id from person_group_assignment_tab t WHERE t.group_id= ‘groud_id’;orelse, request a customization to implement new method as per your requirment. Negative pegged values in shop order

Hi Malmee,This issue might be due to partically pegging of shop order, or customization involve or worng use of manual pegging. In order to find the solution, we need a proper test plan to investigate both functionaly and technically. But as a work around you can try to unpeg Shop Order and receive the material manually. Common reason why you get server failed_not_restartable after a VM restart

As @Imal Thiunuwan mentioned, common issue of getting FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE issue on APP 10 track will be resolved when delete the persistent store files. The common reason for this sort of issue is sudden restart or shutdown in application server machine or VM. Since the middleware application (either Main Server or Admin Server) have not stopped gracefully (Using administrate script or Windows services) that can result corrupted data, often the persistent data store where middleware application stores configuration/data for high-speed access.Resolution for these issuse can be done by below two ways 1. Restore the IFSHOME files from recent file/VM backup and restart the services. This is the recommended method as we don’t know what other sub systems are affected. (ex: Main Server, Admin Server, Int Server, etc )2. For the immediate recovery, you can try removing the corrupted persistent data file and restart relevant service. This will recreate the data st
