Work Order CSS Postings

Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me out with an issue I have been investigating. I have some work orders that CSS Postings are created for and some that do not get CSS Postings even though the CSS Type is not EAM. The odd thing is the background job that runs to create CSS Postings errors every day. The error is as follows:“Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type T3 control type C54 code part A in company XXX. ORA-20105: PostingCtrlPublic.POSTERRMSG” After reviewing the account code part demands, I found that the T3 Posting Control is not setup to create an entry for all the mandatory code parts for the account. This would explain why my background job ends in error. What I can not understand is how CSS Postings are still being created every day for some work orders even though the T3 posting control does not satisfy the account code part demands? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Deleting canceled CO

Hello! There was an issue where a change order was canceled prematurely with CO actions still assigned. This has caused an issue where these actions still show up in queue to be completed, but the actions cannot be edited with the CO in a “Canceled” state and the CO cannot be deleted as it is used in 12 rows in another object… which would match the 12 action items assigned. That can’t be changed. This has caused a circular impasse and would really appreciate any advice on how to either delete the canceled change order or the actions so that these can at least be removed from change order action queue. Manufacturing Tool seems to be limiting the number of Shop Orders that get scheduled in APB

Hello,We use manufacturing tools to constrain our schedule with APB in Apps 10. Recently, we have encountered an issue where some shop orders are scheduling in APB, but many other shop orders are not getting scheduled in APB. After looking through many of the potential causes, we have determined the most likely cause to be the manufacturing tool. If we remove the tool from the the shop orders, the shop orders will schedule. We have run several parts and several scenarios, and APB seems to only schedule 5ea shop orders- regardless of how many are attempted. We have tried to schedule varying amounts of shop orders (13, 91, 102, etc)- and each time only 5 shop orders are scheduled.We are not having this same issue with other Manufacturing tools. Other tools seem to be scheduling all attempted parts / shop orders correctly. But one particular tool seems to be having issues, limiting the amount of shop orders scheduled to 5.Is there a setting on the manufacturing tool that might be controll

Typing in number instead of searching

Hey everyone, when trying to enter a number into any field, such as part number or PO number or work order, can we just type it in the box, or do we need hit the magnifying glass to type the part number in to search it and then have it open up?

Vertex Q Series (V9 UD13) to O Series (Cloud 21R2)

We are in the process of an upgrade from V9 to Cloud with the noted versions. We also have a requirement to move from Vertex Q Series Version 5 which is the only compatible version with V9 to Vertex O Series version 9 which is required for Cloud. We are being told that there is no upgrade path from Q to O series either for the configuration or the data. The configuration we can live with and understand, but losing the data for all customer orders/invoices done prior to the upgrade has become a significant problem. We have a need to be able to reprint invoices for up to 10 years, but don’t retain hard copies of all of that data, only about the most recent 3 years is in the database.We are now faced with the need to print out 165,000 invoices in order to have a retained copy of the invoices after the upgrade since we won’t be able to reprint them after the upgrade is finished.I’m asking the community to see whether any other North America customers have 1) gone through this process?

Where Used for Sales Parts that are in Package Parts

Hi Team,I can perform a Where Used for an EPR, and an IP, but for Sales Parts that are Package Components in Package Parts, once the PP’s are created I can’t perform a Where Used when products change and we need to give this consideration as part of the Change Order.Is there any way to do this?Thanks,Wade

Recharge supplier invoice to customer

Is there a way to recharge a supplier invoice direct to customer. Ideally, what we are looking for is that a supplier invoice is created and approved for payment, but a customer invoice is automatically raised based on this for us to claim back the payment?

In IFS10, when the depreciation type of fixed asset depreciation method is set to "RemValue/RemMonths", depreciation factor cannot be entered. What is the reason for this restriction?However, customers want to be able to input depreciation factors and participate in the calculation of depreciation of fixed assets, rather than manually calculate and input the salvage value of fixed assets each time.

Shop Order is closed, but SO completed Qty is 0

When following the below test plan We are having a error in our background job.Appreciate any clue why are we getting this error to solve it. TEST PLAN:Create a Shop Order.1. Receive By-Product Force Individual Transactions?

Some background:We have a custom event action running as a validation on the LotBatchMaster LU intended to ensure 1 part number per Lot Batch #. This is done with ‘pragma autonomous_transaction’ in order for the event to run on a mutating table. In IFS8 performing a “receive by-product” on a shop order with multiple by-products received simultaneously would perform one database transaction per line and our after create action would correctly error if a lot batch number was repeated on that submission.IFS8 has the COMMIT shown after the first line is submitted here, and the next line errors with the event action:In IFS10 it appears that a transaction is opened for the entire submission as a batch, and since the event action is validating outside the scope of the transaction which is in process it is not able to find that any record exists with the Lot Batch #.My questions are:Is there a way to force IFS10 to revert to one line per transaction? (I’m guessing not without meddling with the

EDI - Pass through values

We are implementing EDI 850 XML format. The last issue we have is that customer is sending us a passthrough value (XYZ) which is not meaningful to us but we need to send it back on the 810. Are there user defined fields or custom fields that can be activated to capture this information which will also be available to extract for the Invoice? Thank you again.

PSO Workbench freezing randomly - Lots of Invalid sessions warning messages in Event Log

Hi Guys, Recently we are exeriencing random PSO SWB freezing. When investigating the Event log I have notices lots of Invalid session. AppInstance: <ServerName> Account: Default Dataset: Event ID 358 Source: IFSSWB Most of the time when this is happening I can also see below events… Wondering if any of you has change the default value for LogOutOnInvalidSession from No to Yes and if that has any benefit in eliminating the noise from the system. I am also planning to change SessionRetantionSeconds to 7200 seconds (2hours)
