Hi! Anyone know how to use this Hidden checkbox on Inventory Locations. Every time i try to press the button nothing happends with the checkbox. i dont see any RMB either to set the location to “Hidden”
the help text says:
If this check box is selected, it indicates that the specified location has been set as hidden and therefore will not be displayed in the warehouse navigator. This is usually done for locations that are considered obsolete.

Find the location in the Warehouse Navigator and set the check box for Hide in Warehouse Navigator.
With this selected, the inventory location now shows as Hidden in the Inventory Locations page.
Thanks for your answer.

Can anyone give me a good example of a use case for this function? As I understand, the only place the location is hidden is in the Warehouse Navigator, is that right?
@NovPeterR its just used as a way to classify a location as “Not Used”. You can select to hide all these in the warehouse navigator to clean up the structure on the left hand side. You can also reference this field on the relevant location, warehouse pages.
If you hide a warehouse, the child objects will inherit.
This doesn't stop users from moving stock into these locations, you would need to block receipts on warehouses, locations etc.

Thanks for your reply. It was just as I expected then.
Pretty pointless functionality in my opinion then. I would have preferred to have the locations hidden for the users too in transactions.

Maybe better adding an idea onto the community.
If you use the ‘Receipts Blocked’ option this removes the ability to move stock to this location, location(s) are also hidden from LOV’s
