Hello Community, For some reason we have to put the purchase order to a stopped status. Because the order cannot be changed from the published status to the planned status.However, for purchase orders with the status of Stopped, MRP creates demand again. Do you have a basic data or suggestion for a different solution to include in this situation? Regards,Barış

Measurements for Object Meter Change IssueA serial object had an incorrect meter value entered using the change meter function - now the total value is too high and everything we try to fix it, just keeps increasing the value more/won’t register as a valid transaction. We need to reduce the accumulated value - should be total value of 7046. It doesn’t let you go back and mark meter readings as incorrect when there is a meter change out after it.
I have set up a control plan for one specific purchase part, but I would like to connect it to multiple parts. The goal is to have multiple control plans for different product families. Can this be done with the control plan that is already created and what is the best way to make groups of the parts? Hope anyone can help.

We are having difficulties facilitating the following scenario in IFS, if you could please provide guidance if we are missing a setting or functionality, as this is a fairly standard industry wide process. Scenario : We purchase Raw Materials from Overseas. We pay for and assume ownership of the parts on dispatch of shipment from the Supplier (sometimes these shipments can take 4-8 weeks). In IFS, these parts should be considered part of our Inventory from a Financial perspective, however they are not available for Planning as this have not yet physically been received on site. Currently IFS, the parts are appearing in Inventory both Financially and from a Planning perspective, they should not be appearing available for Planning while they are in transit but only when they are physically received onsite. This behavior is causing us significant issues in our MRP planning as these parts are appearing as though they are available on site and can be consumed ever though they are still in t

Hello everyone. We’re on IFS 10 update 11. We’ve recently noticed an issue with part revisions that has us very concerned. We’ve reported the issue to IFS but haven’t got any resolution or information about what may be causing this issue. Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue.When an Engineering Part is up-rev'd and transferred, the most current existing Inventory Revision should be phased out and a new Inventory Revision created with a new phase in date correlating to the new Engineering Revision. Current orders that are in process such as started Shop Orders, or closed orders such as Purchase Orders, Shop Orders, Structures and Inventory Parts in Stock should retain their revision. However, we have observed that the revision of the parts on closed PO's, Shop Order Structures, and Inventory in stock are all updated. Instead of the current Inventory Part Revision with the former Engineering Revision being phased out, it is being overwritten.

For an Example, If a Invoicing Customer is an EU member, then on the invoice, can we automate setting the following text:"Intra-Community supply of goods, Exemption from VAT according to Article No 138(1) of Directive 2006/112/EC. Supply of Services. Reverse Charge according to Article No 44 of Directive 2006/112/EC."This text should appear on the bottom of the invoice. Similar functionality can be seen in Reminders. Is it available in Invoices?
I have created an object link to NCR and CAPA to the customer and supplier. I can also connect both objects. When I want to open the supplier from NCR/Capa, i.e. display the object. Hi,I’d like to manage several equipments trees (function and location for example). I know we can do it with IFS Cloud and previous versions but I’ve just seen it seems we have limitations with all trees except the “function” one.I explain:I want to manage a hierachy (Function tree) with Technical lot/Sub Technical Lot/Equipment Type/EquipmentIn this strucutre, I’ll have a “water tank” (functional object) in the Sub Technical Lot level and its child “pump01” (serial object) in the equipment level. Moreover, I also want to have a separate tree for locations so I’ve decided to use the “Location” tree.The hierarchy would be Site/Ground/Zone/Building/Floor/local However, I’m facing an issue because I’d like to place the serial object “Pump01” under “Building” level but IFS does not allow me to do it (there is NO structure zone in the serial object record). It means I must move both the parent (functional object) and its child to have it in this kind of tree.Finally I’ll have the Water Tank
In IFS Cloud I am able to create a Prototype Shop Order, produce a serialized part, receive it into inventory and reserve it on a Customer Order. Is it normal? I don’t think it is correct that a prorotype could be sold, furthermore with the same price of a normal item.Could anyone explain me if there is any setting to prevent this scenario?Thanks a lotStefano

Hi, We added new font IDAutomationMICR in IFS Report, it is working fine in our local environment. but when we installed font on client environment which is on linux, it is shows required information in Arial in place of IDAutomationMICR font. We copied on IDAutomationMICR.ttf file in <fndext home>\repository\server\reports\fonts folder and reconfigured the application server and userconfig.xml file is also modified. When we are running report from IEE Application, required information shows in Arial Font. Regards,Kishore Nenwani

Getting below error User IFSADMIN is not allowed access. Most likely causes: * User not set as Active. * User is not granted connect privileges. Contact your system administrator if this condition persists.Authentication method is used as database. FND_ENDUSER is given via FND_ADMIN user but not specifically. Can someone assists to trouble shoot this issue
We have tried the new feature using (IFS standard) projections as a data source for lobby elements in 22R1, service update 3. In some cases it’s the only option if you want to navigate properly so it’s a nice feature. However, they only work in preview mode. When accessed through the lobby, they show no data. A look behind the curtains reveals a “Metadata not found” error. The lobbies are granted to a permission set, which we are testing with. Any clues to how to fix this problem?
Hi,My database is in Apps10 UPD12 I book a supplier invoice in the same transaction currency than the accounting currency of my company (EUR).For this company, parrallel currency is also activated and is also EURSpecific stuff is that i use a Calculated Tax Code I’ve set up 0.02 accepted difference Interresting think is that the system, even if there is no balance difference, triggers four IP28 lines in the I voucher . The total balance of these 4 lines is zero both on accounting currency and parallel currency Does anybody have an idea why system triggers IP28 ? And why 4 times ? Thansks for your help. Eric
Hi all,What causes work to be placed into the unfinished activity work screen?I have checked status and it doesn’t seem related to the status of the project - as new projects in ‘Started’ status don’t appear on the list. Is it related to dates? For example, after a certain activity date any unfinished activity work is placed onto this list. I have checked online documentation but cannot find any info.Thanks,R
