Hi All,I came across a scenario while investigating a technical task. I then noticed that during the execution flow the logic fetched data from a virtual table named "TERMINATE_EMPLOYMENT_HANDLING_ERRORS_AND_WARNINGS_VIRTUAL_VRT", but in my scenario, the relevant customer didn't have any data from that specified virtual table. However, once I compared that specific virtual table with our core environment, there were some data present in the core databases.I just wanted to know the usage of the virtual tables, the process of data insertion to them and any further helpful information related to it.Please share your insightful suggestions about the aforementioned question.Thank You,Best Regards,Sajid Ahmed

Hello,Beginner query builder here. I’m attempting to build a report that shows part number, description, available quantity, current year in and out, and last year in and out. At first, I couldn’t seem to find the view for the current year and last year in and out, but I was able to locate it after unchecking the “Only Granted Views” and “Only Base Views” boxes in the options drop down. There are multiple views titled “Inv Part Config Project” that has all the columns/keys I need, but when I attempt to join, there are no matching keys to connect. So I guess my 2 questions are:What do the two options boxes (Only Granted Views and Only Base Views) mean and how does that affect the views and how the join? What steps can I take to join two views when there seems to be no matching keys?Thanks,

Hi,Does someone know in which version/release in IFS Apps, the table Person_Info_Comm_Method_tab was removed ?I can see that it’s not in App9 and later, but can see in App8.However, in the environment I checked, that table is not being updated with the records added to the Communication Method tab in the Person record. There are some old records in that table.The Comm_Method_tab where party_type = ‘PERSON’ is the table which is get updated with the records added.This causes me to think that the earlier table might have been removed in a release/service pack in App8.Someone have an idea ? I’ve tried scheduling jobs but they aren’t running. When I force them I've found that they are showing in system monitoring that they are last ran in 1969. Is there a place I can check on this date / time? It’s on a test environment.
There is a change to the NIC primary threshold on the 6th of July 2022, which means regulation NI03 needs to be updated in IFS. Can you advise if this is something that will be automatically changed by an IFS update? Can you please confirm the status of this or notify me where to look for this information?.
How does the time zone table (tzone_utc) table gets updated?The function dbo.ConvertToDBTime listed in the documentation seems to do what we need but it returns NULL for Time Zones which have the Daylight Savings flag checked but no records for the date range being converted.Is the function dbo.get_tzone_diff used? The version in our production environment refers to the table tzone which no longer exists. The version of this function I found in the demo database uses the newer tzone_utc table.

Below scenario we need help in setting up the working hour schedule:Employee is allowed to Punch IN and Punch OUT anytime between 7 AM to 5 PM. and he should follow the work schedule of 8 hrs only in between this time boundary of 10 hrs. If employee comes before 7 AM and any time time worked after 5 PM it should be excluded and not be considered in working hours of that day. If employee leaves early and not completed 8 hrs of work in office, it is to be considered as Shortfall. On any day his working hours should at least 8 hrs or max 10 hrs only even though he worked more than 10 hrs ( base don early punch in or late punch OUT). Schedule is without break and of 8 hours only. No OT allowed before 7 AM and after 8 hrs working too.Few scenario to handle:Punch IN 6 AM and Punch OUT 2 PM= Normal Hours 7 hrs( 7 AM to 2 PM only) and 2 hours shortfall. Punch IN 6 AM and Punch OUT 6 PM= Normal Hours 10 hrs( 7 Am to 5 PM). Early 1 hr and last 1 hrs to excluded Punch IN 8 AM and Punch OUT 4 PM

We recieve some components with lot batch and some without. Sometimes there is a mistake made and we need to cancel the reciept. We can cancel if the component is not connected to a lot batch number but we cant cancel if it is connected to a lot batch number. The lot batch number is used to make the components “trace-able”.Anyone knows what is causing this problem or how to fix it?Any help is appreciated!

What is the best way to prevent intercompany transactions being processed between particular companies? i.e. if we don’t want Company ABC to have AP invoices coded directly to Company XYZ, how can we best prevent this, if user has access to both companies? i.e. we want Company XYZ costs to be coded to a project and then billed, not entered directly to their accounts.
The "Company" master and "Customer" master have a "Tax Rounding Method" field for tax rounding settings. I think the "Tax Rounding Method" in the "Customer" master is used for the "Tax Rounding Method" of the tax amount in the "Customer Invoice".Which IFS movement does the "Company"master " and "Customer" master Tax Rounding Method" control?I could not find a description in the IFS9 online documentation.Since it is not mentioned, I cannot determine which setting is valid for my operation. Hi Everyone. The following is in regards to IFS APPS 9 Recently to support load balancing we modified the web server Configuration for our instances to use custom Client Access URLs. The following is the applicable IFS installer screen for the reconfiguration:On the SSL Configuration screen of the installer, we were previously using the Enable SSL option, but now with SSL offloading the custom client access url is handling this. This is working except ever since reconfiguring in this way the IFS application streams display the following error message.Does anyone have any idea why this might be causing this issue? Is there something else that must be reconfigured to get the fnd streams to work? Let me know if there is any other information I can provide Thanks!LAvon
Hello Community, For some reason we have to put the purchase order to a stopped status. Because the order cannot be changed from the published status to the planned status.However, for purchase orders with the status of Stopped, MRP creates demand again.
