Customer Order Mobilisation Work Orders

We have a Customer Order which has a Reservation, the Reservation triggers a Mobilisation Work Order to be Generated. We have a few Customer Orders where the reservation serial no needs to be amended but we cannot unreserve the CO due to the Linked Work Order and we are unable to Delete the WO as it is ‘Work Done’ with Time Transactions. How can we remove the WO linked to the CO so we can unreserve and reserve a new serial no?

Pull Authorisation Rule to ALL Open POs

We have recently introduced PO Authorisation in place of PR Authorisation.This has caused ALL POs open to now require approval before they can be processed which is causing problems for Orders on MWO as they are all failing when user receipts. Is there a way to Fetch the Auth Rule for ALL Order in bulk rather than individually via the PO? This would then allow them to be approved in bulk. We have around c1,000 POs that now need to be approved and fetching the rule on the PO 1 by 1 is a time consuming task. Thanks,

PM ACTION COMPLETE DATE INCORRECT

Within the PM Action, the Last Work Task Completion Date is incorrect causing the rest of the Maintenance Plan to be scheduled incorrectly. The Work Task was initially closed down with the incorrect Actual Finish Date which is what has pulled into the Last Work Task Completion Date.Reopening the Work Order and Amending the Actual Finish Date is not working. How do i resolve this?

Crystal Report Filter not displaying in IFS

I have created a Crystal Report with a Filter that works in Crystal Designer but when I launch in IFS via Quick Reports it does not prompt for the Filter so displays the report blank? In the back of my mind I feel like I need another field, hidden in the report to make it work but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. can anyone advise why the Crystal Report Filter does not prompt? Limit Work Types seen in MWO

Hey,Is there any way of limiting what data is visible in MWO Service 10. For example, we have a long list of Work Types but only a small selection are applicable to the Engineers on MWO Service 10 so would like to ‘hide’ the other work types to ensure they are not incorrectly used. Thanks,

Remove Material Line on Work Order linked to MWO

We have some Material Lines on a Work Order that we want to delete / remove as they are not required.Someone has already removed the Requisition Details but we cannot delete and remove the Material Lines due to this message: How can we remove them so they do not appear as unmanaged material lines? thanks

Work Done Work Orders - Kept on MWO

We have a scenario that I am not sure how best to handle. Engineer creates work via MWO Service Engr App and Raises Purchase Requisition to replenish PartsEngineer completes Work and updates the Work Order to ‘Complete’ which updates the IEE WO Status to Work DoneEngineer keeps the Work Order on his device to receipt in the replenishment parts when they arriveIEE Users see Work Done Work Order and Process to Finished Engineer updates Work Order via MWO AppFailed Transaction generated as Engineer is now updating a Finished Work Order How do the IEE Users know that the Engineer has selected to Keep the Work Order? The assignment shows complete, the Work Task and Work Order shows as work done? They need to be able to see when the Work Order is Kept on the Device so they do not attempt to update it in IEE before the engineer has selected to Return it from his MWO Device. Thanks,

Return Purchase Order Part

A PR was created against a Work Order and converted to a Purchase Order.Supplier has sent the Part and this was received into InventoryThe Part sent is incorrect so we need to return the part to the supplier.What should the process be for handling this? We need to pay the Invoice for the part received so cannot delete/cancel the Purchase Order but we do not want it to show as a required material in the work order and I cannot seem to find a way of handling this within the Work Order.Thanks,

ODP_Serialization_Error when calling Service Quotation

Hi All,We are receiveing the below error when pulling Service Quotation API. It gets to Quote D193 Rev 1 and then this error appears"<ERROR> {"error": {"code":"ODP_SERIALIZATION_ERROR", "message":"Error while serializing contents." } }</ERROR> If we call just Quote D193 we do not get the error. We have checked the Quote in IEE and it is no different to the previous Quote in the API Call as far as Data goes.How can we debug this? Developer has used Postman but it does not detail which field or indicate if there is a character error. Thanks,Lisa

Referenced Logical Unit - Not all fields displaying

I have created a Custom Field that is using a Reference LU but when using the field, not all available fields from the CLU are displaying. How do I change the set up to choose which fields from the Logical Unit display in the LOV?Exmaple, here are some of the fields in the Custom Logical Unit I want the Demand_Head_Ref to be a field that is selectable / searchable.I have created a Persistent Field which uses a referenced Logical Unit for CcCase and published. The field works as expected but the Demand_Head_Ref is not a searchable / visible field in the table that appears on the LOV How can I configure the results to pull which ever fields I want from the Referenced LU?If I RMB on the LOV Table and Select Properties, these are the only fields showing in the tableThanks in advance

Quality Checks in Work Tasks

I am hoping someone can help me find a solution.The business needs to report Data Quality against a KPI Data Metric and we want to set up ‘something’ that allows a user to flag the Work Tasks as Pass / Fail on the Data Metric and those details to be stored in IFS to be reported on. I cannot find any core functionality that allows quality control measures to be set so I was wondering how someone else might go about this as I cannot seem to be able to think of the best solution?Thanks,

MWO Service App - Sync Behaviour

We have ongoing issues with the time it takes for the apps to complete the syncs in the morning. We have most of our syncs done overnight as recommended by IFS with only information that needs to be pushed in the day going out in the day. Does anyone know how the syncs should behave? Should the application read / process the out messages when the devices are locked? Is it normal behaviour that the Sync only happens when the application is in use? Or should the tablets be triggered to run in the background when messages are sent? Thanks,

Overtime Capture

We are exploring options to improve the way in which our engineers report their Overtime. Currently this is a manual process completed via Spreadsheets but we would like to start integrating the process into IFS if possible.Can anyone offer me any guidance in where I would need to start to allow Overtime Hours to be reported directly into IFS?Thanks in advance

SLA IN WORK ORDERS

We have SLA Templates created and connected to Service Contracts and we want this to trigger when a Work Order is created.I can see in the Work Tasks the SLA Order Number is populated but the SLA Latest Finish Date does not pull with the calculated Finish Date to meet the SLA?Does anyone have any experience with SLAs that can help?Thanks,

MWO - Failed Transaction

Hi,User Receipts via MWO, the receipt goes through but a Failed Transaction is queued saying:source ref 1 is the PO Number which is autopopulated and exists on the message. How do I investigate / solve this error from happening?At the moment, we ask the engr to complete an init once we have deleted the transaction but I would like to discover and resolve this issue.Thanks,

Customer Order - Invoice Process Issues

When the Finance Users are Invoicing the Customer Orders something in their process is reopening and redelivering the Customer OrderThe Steps they say they follow does not result in this when I am trying to replicate and they are unable to explain why their processing is different to my testing following the same steps. Can anyone advise what process they would need to do to change the CO Status to Delivered after Invoiced? How is a Rental Reopened? This is causing HUGE issues due to Custom Events we have that trigger on CO Status of Delivered so when they carry out these steps the Custom Event is retriggered meaning the Data in the system is incorrectly updated. Custom Field Help: Comparing Dates

I am trying to create a custom field but I have having an issue getting it to work. I have 2 Dates:On Demand Date Rental Start Date (Custom Field)I want to create a Custom Field that does the following and I am not sure if it is possible:If rental_start_date = on_demand_date then ‘Pass’ elseif rental_start_date-1/24 = on_demand_date then ‘pass’else ‘fail’Both fields exist in the same LU but I keep getting a bind error and I cannot work out what the correct syntax should be.I think I need a Select Case When () but I cannot seem to get it correct. Amend 'Actual Hours Worked' in Work Assignment

A user, via MWO, has reported ‘Work I have Completed’ but has incorrectly reported the Start and Finish Dates meaning the ‘Actual Hours Worked’ on the Work Assignment are 100hours more than they should be.How can I correct this? Thanks,

MWO Out Message - 'Transaction End'

We are doing lots of investigations into what is causing the delay in the syncs completing and this morning have noted that a ‘Transaction End’ Out Message was created for 07:31:26 We have tested 6 devices this morning and all have been stuck on this out message for a long period of time.What is the Transaction End Message and how can we diagnose why it is taking so long?

Cannot find Attachments on Service Quotation from MWO

We have engineers using Service Quotations and they will attach documents / photos to the Service Quotation via MWO.The Attachments can be seen on MWO but when the Quote is returned to IFS we cannot find the attachments.There is no Failed Transaction, the MWO Device is fully synced and showing ‘Idle’ so we cannot work out where they have gone.Thanks in advance :-)

Privileges - Payment Proposal Delete

A user is getting this when trying to delete lines in the Supplier Payment Proposal:I cannot find where / how to grant this? I have looked through Presentation Objects and Database Objects but cannot find the specific tick box. I have granted ‘Delete’ options in Payment Proposals but User still cannot carry out the action. Training Events Linked to CO or PO

We are starting to use the Training Events within IFS IEE Apps 10 and I cannot work out how to move the course costs to a Customer Order or a Purchase Order to handle the Finacials.The Training Events holds the Training Costs but how do I now convert this into a CO so we can raise an Invoice or a PO so we can be Invoiced?Thanks,
