FSM Business rule modification - XML message

Dear FMS experts.I have a commitment notification (email) via a Business Rule (BR) that is sent as Request have ETA in jeopardy. The existing BR updates the Request Events and add a Event Type “Sent Email” that triggers and email that is hardcoded to one individual email address.The new requirement is to send the email to different recipients, such as engineers and manager[1] I am struggling to find how the Event Type “Sent Email” is linked to a singular email address[2] can I modify the XML message to include a parameters that look at engineer and manager?Please see the BR in the next screenshot and XML_message code

Budget Control on specific Activity Level

Hi Team,We have below requirement:We have implemented budget control in IFS only on certain ‘controlled’ WBS (activities), there are other activities which have a budget and are not controlled or have no budget at all.As well as having this control on an individual activity level the system is also applying it at a project level, so if the spend against all activities is greater than the total budget against all activities it stops purchasing.  We do not want this.  We only want it applied at the specific activity level.There is an option for ‘Control on total budget’ but this relates to what ‘cost elements’ are included in the calculation.  We only have two cost elements (COST and REVENUE) so this doesn’t really do anything.Can we look into whether it’s possible to turn this control on the total budget off somehow?So essentially we use the below toggle to turn budget control on for projects and apply it for any activity that has an entry in the ‘Project Budget Control Rules List’What

Hi Experts,I get this fail transaction if I create an additional work from a request task using option ‘Request additional work that needs to be done’. I use copy task detail option as well.It is not clear how to refresh map positions in back end. I refreshed the relevant tasks but still cannot get rid of the fail transaction. Can't handle receipts in MWO

Hi everyone,I have an issue on MWO when I try to handle purchases, here are my screenshots :My Supplier for purchase part, with the receive case “Receive into inventory”. It’s a stock part.I create a maintenance PO :When I try to receive the PO from MWO, I can’t choose the receive location :After that, when I receive the part, the Receipt says that the part has been received into Arrival The problem is :My part isn’t in inventory I can’t issue it on my WT Thanks

Where can I see Migration Progress in Data Migration Manager?

Hi IFS Data Migration Friends!In APPS 10, using the migration Toolkit, we had an extremely useful feature available to us when migrating large containers called the "Container Processing Rates" form.In that form you were able to see how the processing of that container was doing, how many rows were migrated per minute and how many errors were generated as the deploy unfolds in real time. It looked like this:I miss my Container Processing Rates features :(For large containers, this was an early warning that we may need to wait for 3 or 4 hours to see this container fully migrated. It would let us investigate some errors while we waited for the migration to complete. It even help us to early-detect a few cases where the migration simply "got stuck" and nothing was moving ahead. Fast forward to the Data Migration Manager and now it seems that all that functionality is lost.Is there any place were we can find something similar? Although the “Background Jobs” screen let me see that a migrat

More than one profile per user

In Apps 10 a user can have more than one profile and “switch” profiles based on different reason. Maybe the user has 2 different roles in the company and each profile better aligns with the role (that’s our case).I don’t see the ability to change profiles in IFS Cloud. Is that option no longer available? Can't you no longer have more than one profile available to a User?

Navigator Designer Changes for MWO

In core MWO application, there are some functionalities only available in the MWO navigator section, not as separate tiles (Ex: My Misc Allocations, My Work calendar).However, if mwo users wish to see them as tiles we can add it via Navigator designer.But the problem is that when the new tiles are added, they are being added to the mwo navigator as well. Therefore, they end up as duplicates in the mwo navigator. Is there a way to keep only one entry in mwo navigator, such as hiding unnecessary items from navigator? So the questions are; how do get the standard items to be visible in the Dasbhoard OR how do I remove the standard items from the Navigator?Thanks and Regards,

Create arrivals via REST in IFS Cloud

Hello, I am attempting to create an arrival to receive a Purchase Order line via REST API. I am inspecting the endpoint calls that Aurena makes during the process, but i’m unable to figure out which call is actually performing the receipt. I see calls to CreateReceiptSet but the payload doesnt include the information from the arrival line (PO #, Line, Etc). I also see CreateArrivalReceipt, but it only uses what i assume is the OBJKEY that is returned from CreateReceiptSet. I know this is a little tricky because an assistant is involved, but I cant seem to make sense of the calls that are happening. Any tips for figuring out how this assistant works?

Fair Share - Customer Order Line Reservations

Hello,I am looking to understand the logic of automatic reservations for customer orders. I would assume that the lines that are due the earliest would be reserved first, and that would flow until there is no more available inventory. Create item releations with ETM

I’m trying to create an “Item Relation”-channel to help our engineers create relationship between existing items in the Assyst CMDB. Doing so I’ve created a web import channel that accepts CSV files, but during test runs I’m having some issues during imports when creating new item relationships. I’ve been unable to set the correct “side” of the relationship to the Main Item as attempted to specify in the “Item Relation”-datamapper.  I’m working with a single Item Relation datamapper.After selecting the main and related item using variable assyst search I’ve tried using “Relation Type”, and lookup by ID, followed by an Related Detail” selecting the wanted detailId for the main item.However doing it this way I’ve been unable to correctly select which mainDetailId is set to the “Main item” during an import.The item selected as “Main item“ in the datamapper seems to always get the lowest ID detailID when created during import, regardless of what is selected in “Related Detail”.  Is there s

Importing Contact User Image via ETM

Has anyone set up their CUG update via ETM that also imports the customers image? We are a Microsoft O365 shop, so I know the URL to get to the image, but I’m not sure how to set this up to import to the Contact Users profile. I’ve tried the following, but I just get a message that “No Update Needed” though no changes are made.  Then in my Spreadsheet I’m using to import/test, I have the following:

Cancel multiple supplier invoices IFS Cloud

Hi. I accidentally uploaded 4,000 invoices when I just needed 1. For each line the invoice number had 1 added on to it when I dragged down formula for 4,000 lines, therefore creating 4,000 separate invoices. Is there a way to mass cancel all of them without doing it one by one? Thank you

How to make ScheduleBoard Read only in FSM

Hi there,My team is trying to create a Consultation role (CONSULTA) that only allows users to read information on the different screens of FSM without editing anything. Therefore, we would like to prevent tasks from being dragged to the board on the scheduleboard screen, and thus assigned. We have already tried to set the functions, in the role, associated with the scheduleboard to read only (picture below): But we are still able to drag and assign tasks.In addition, as an alternative, we have also tried to create a validation business rule that triggers an error message when someone with a Consultation user role tries to assign a task on the scheduleboard (picture below):However, this rule is also not working, because when we have more than one role associated with a user (For example, in this case the consultation role and team roles), the person_role.user_role input is only selecting one of these roles to use in the condition, so the rule does not work as it should for certain cases

Where can I see a whole BOM and lead times of all components?

For scheduling purposes, we want to be able to see a whole top level parent item and all its components all at once, with the current lead times of each part.  Is there a page where I can see all of that?  Or a report?

Reserve from specific location

We have a problem in IFS APPS 10. When a customer order is created on IFS and the order type is “XPR”, IFS will issue the part from the last location used and not its default locationI think this is because the option below is set to “All locations” and not “Only specified location”.If I change it to “Only specified location” does that mean it will only use the default location?Or do I have to set something else?Thanks

Instant invoice - More information - Customer reference automatically

HiIs it somehow possible to get the customer reference automatically in instant invoice?Today we need to add the customer reference manually in the “More information” tab. When e-invoices are sent, customer ref is mandatory and it would be much easier if this filed had the customer ref inherited from the customer card.

What field is Credit/Corr Invoice No in the backend?

On the Return Material Authorization Lines screen in IFS Cloud, I am wondering what the DB field is called for this column in the front end: “Credit/Corr Inoivce No” I See a credit_invoice_no field on RETURN_MATERIAL_JOIN_UIV view but the value does not seem to be synonymous with the value in the screenshot above. Any insight is appreciated for this!
