Hi all,Strange problem i have.I have a very long IAL that is calculating labour efficiency so hits time card, shop floor clockings, operation history and oper history.Runs fine when the IAL is set to live data only (apart from time card where i made a CLU to get that data before IFS HR gets in the way).Now when i switch over to copy all data. Which i need to do as it takes 30 mins to run. All the Hours clocked are 0’d off which comes from shop floor clockings.If i run the report from IFSAPP it shows correctly and in crystal the report shows correctly if im using the live data.So why when its copied data the number is 0’d off?I am thinking this is the HR module getting in the way but that should only happen with live data.Also i cant find anything wrong with the code plus it works.Permissions are fine for ifsinfo too. Im not sure what is different about storing the data when compared to the IAL view version.Bit odd. Otherwise i can keep it as live data and then schedule it but i dont wa
Hi,We are planning to use standard currency update assistant with cross rate calculations.We receive single currency file with one base currency and the plan is to update all companies with cross rate calculations. And we have around 20 companies in IFS which use different accounting currencies .Does any one use this standard functionality and have you seen any issues in this functionality?ThanksGayan
I have installed IFS Report Designer along with Java however when running IFS Report Designer I get the error: Windows cannot find 'java\bin\javaw' I am sure it is something simple but cannot see to resolve. I have tried re-installing java.Is it an environment variable I am missing?Thank you in advance.

I’m working on the manufacturing side of a business using IFS 9We’ve had some problem with a Serialised part not showing the proper Multilevel structure. Here’s the context. very much simplified structure is : PN 100 PN 101 PN 102 Parts were manufactured and shop orders were closed correctly. We then opened a multilevel repair shop order for 100 (SO100), salvaged 101 and opened another multi-level shop order for 101 (SO101). Work was conducted on SO 101 and was eventually closed and part was re-issued to SO100 and was closed putting a PN100 back in stock. Now, we need to repair PN100 again so we open another repair SO (SO102) but this is where we get the problem, there’s no as-built structure for this PN100 that was put in inventory by repair SO100. Hi, Needing to move our Apps 9 TAS on-prem. From install guide, I notice it only mentions Server 2012 - which is EOL. Is is verified against Server 2012? In terms of Apps 10 - what Servers does its TAS use. Thanks, Matt

When doing application server installation the following error is getting logged ion the configuration logs.“WLSTException: Error occurred while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : Connection refused: connect. Could not connect to NodeManager. Check that it is running at INDSRV-IFSAPP1:5557.” htts_server.cmd when started, it ends up in error. All the services are running. Checked from webconsole, all the severs are in running status & all deployments are fine. What could possibly the source of error.Need support immediately. The problem is coming at the time of doing PROD installation.

We are in the process of migrating from IFS 7.5 to IFS Cloud but we do need to keep our 7.5 environment serviceable for the short-term.I appreciate that it not the highest priority as there is likely a smaller customer base and it is an end-of-life product. However can we get some details regarding:The exposure of IFS 7.5 Environments to the Log4j vulnerability Expectations around if any patches, mitigations or updates will be provided to these environments if they are found to be exposed?Even if the answer is no, we do want to understand the exposure so we can take the right actions internally. in order to calculate the estimated material cost in the finish good shop order for a zero on-hand item I have entered the estimated material cost in the inventory part window (cost tab). The shop order is calculating the estimated material cost based on the entered value but the issue is the cost source value is (asterisk) * for that particular component in the shop order costs window. I want to know whether there is any way to solve this issue? Relevant screenshots are attached.
When clicking on "Receive Order Handling", an error message appears "Customer should be defined for the supplier". We checked every setting we could have thought of, seems to be all set. However, CRO cannot be processed.Can anyone help me on this regards.

Hi AllHopefully an easy one.Scenario, Part A( manufactured) is made from Part B (purchased), currently both set up as finite with a lead time.At the Begining Part A is scheduled for 100 days from now based on lead time, so far so good.A PO is created for part B and the planned arrival date can now be earlier or later than expected ,Now when i run APB i need this new arrival date (Actual supply) to supersede the default lead time.What settings / process do i need to incorporate in order for this to happen? Hi. we are using apps 10 and run MRP site wide once a week that generate over 30,000 action messages after every run. Looking at the date over two thirds of the messages are ‘ No Demand Exists’ for parts with a frequency class of Very Slow ( No transaction over the past year). the part status of all these parts are set at A (active), should we change the setting to O (obsolete) to prevent MRP creating any demand and as a result hopefully reduce the number of MRP action messages we generate?what is best practice?kind regardsJamie
HiAfter we have updated from IFS 9 to 10.10 we have seen that some of our prints jobs are staying in status “Remote Working” As seen on the image the same report can be 4 times in status “Remote working” and is not changing status and cannot be restated. As seen on the same image the job is then printed after trying to print 4 times.This issue is not related to a specific report and it´s not helping to restart the print server. Have anyone seen the same problem and might have a solutions for this?
Anyone who has experienced this one before, and has suggestion on how to solve this? We are installing UPD9 on a Vessel installation and getting below error F:\ifs_home\repository\server\install_fndmws.xml:337: Failed to deploy applications. Error is: Watchdog kicked in, operation takes too long time! Aborting… System seems to be running like normal, but not sure where to look for an issue.
