Hi,

Needing to move our Apps 9 TAS on-prem. From install guide, I notice it only mentions Server 2012 - which is EOL. Is is verified against Server 2012?

In terms of Apps 10 - what Servers does its TAS use.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi @Matthew, what is your TAS version? The latest TAS for Apps9, v1.15 is certified on both Windows 2012 R2 (Extended support until October 10, 2023) and Windows Server 2016 (Mainstream support until January 11, 2022 and Extended support until January 12, 2027). You may be on a very old TAS version that was only certified for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2. See the installation guides at https://cloud.ifsworld.com/Downloads.aspx

Apps10 TAS is also currently certified for Windows Server versions 2012 R2 and 2016.

Hi,

We are on the IFS cloud tas - being depreciated in 2023. How would we find out what version?

Apologies - a colleague who used to deal with this has left and not been replaced!

Our TAS is currently down and support adviced to either rebuild the link on a new VM or move to on-prem. In march 2023 we will probably still be on Apps9 - hence looking to move to on prem.

Thanks,

Matt

@Matthew your TAS banner has the version. See example below.

In any case, you can upgrade to the latest TAS (version 1.15 as I said), and that really shouldn’t matter whether you’re on IFS Managed Cloud or On Prem as long as a Windows Server 2016 instance can be used to host it.
