How to copy the RMB "Send Order Confirmation" from Customer Order to Customer Order Lines

Hello,Is it possible to have the RMB->Send Order Confirmation also in the Customer Order Lines ? We’re running IFSAPP10 mod 8. I have checked with the Debug Console trying to find out something that can be useful, but nothing happens when choosing the option. Can someone help me ?Thanks.

Report Generator - Repeat columns based on code part

In IFS 10 and Report Generator it’s possible to group code parts on row level but I can’t find a way to display/repeat code part (cost center) as columns with G/L balance. Is that possible?

Fixed Lead Time

Hi, We are using the Kanban circuits system and have set trigger points appropriatly. Our problem is that the shop orders start and finish dates vary according to what time of day or week they are created. What we require is to fix the lead time to 3 days, two days in sheet metal and one day in paint. Sometimes the order starts and finishes in two days and others it 4 days, which then means the stock becomes very low.Is there an answer to this issue.thanks

External Supplier Invoice Final Posting Error

Community, have you by any chance seen this error? or is it a bug? how to fix it? Our company accounting currency is in USD, the invoice is in CAD. Sample Error Message :When doing final posting, system prompted the error : “ERROR( The Currency Posting Amounts for the Invoice 189538 are not Balanced) occurred when booking invoice SX 189538.”it only happens to external supplier invoice. when doing the error supplier invoice via manual supplier invoice, there is no issue at all. Thank you.

Incorrect Qty received on PO

In Apps10, our receiving clerk over received the qty on a PO while registering arrival. Accounting has since vouchered for the correct amount. How do we remove the extra qty since it is too late to cancel the receipt and start over?

Customize Parameter on Order Report

Hello, I have looked at most topics available on this and am still at a loss so I thought I would try asking for help here. I have a custom operational report(ran from the order report window) created by a contractor who is no longer working for us. I have the .xsd, .rdf, and the .rdl file for this report. I am trying to understand how I can customize this report to pull in a different view and also to change the parameter the report is asking for. I have read that there might be a .report file I am missing, is that the case here? I’ve also read about generating model files and things like that...I have never created a custom report before but I do have IFS Developer Studio but am struggling to understand how to use it in this case scenario and like usual the IFS tech docs are not very useful for beginners. Setting up Supplier payment information

Customer needs to set up a new supplier with payment details and the bank details were given by the supplier is with following format US supplier ;a routing number and swift code, an account number Most of the suppliers in IFS db has been set up with an account number and sort code or an IBAN and swift number (BACS )The New US supplier is being paid in GBP , can this be set up with considering only the account number and the Swift code without considering the routing number . How we convert this to correct format , as existing format doesn't have routing information.Thanks.

Keeping Supplier Materials as Customer Consignment

IFS Company customer wants to make sure that materials from IFS Company supplier are available for their products and therefore:IFS Company buys the materials and invoices them directly to the customer (with some charge for administration and stock keeping). When delivering a product that includes this material, the invoice price must be corrected for the material used (after all, this has already been paid for by IFS Company Customer).Anyone out there having implemented this requirement?When IFS Company customer would buy these materials and make them available to IFS Company, this might work with Customer Owned Parts, but IFS Company customer doesn't want to be involved like this

Slicers in Business Reporter

Hi all,Does anyone know whether Slicers only work in Business Reporter when the same “Display Item” is also set as a Repeater?I currently have a Parameter and an associated Filter on Accounting Structure Node of Code Part B. I was hoping to replace this with a Slicer, both to reduce the number of times data must be called from the database, and also to make it easier to handle the transactions which don’t have a Code B.I have removed the Parameter and associated Filter and created the Workbook Slicer. When I run the Report, data for all Code Part Bs is displayed - so far so good. But when I then click in to the Slicer option and reduce down the Accounting Structure Nodes which are included, the data displayed in the report remains the same.Thanks,Chris

Supplier invoice tolerance postings

Can anyone confirm how tolerance postings are supposed to work (if at all), in Apps 9, in a company that does not use Posting Proposals?I have tested this functionality using posting proposals and it all works as expected, adding a tolerance line to the supplier invoice posting lines if tolerance is within specified levels where ‘Always create tolerance posting line’ is not ticked on supplier OR creating the tolerance line even if outside tolerance where ‘always create tolerance posting line’ is ticked on supplier i.e. overriding the tolerance limits.The issue I have is for companies where posting proposals are not used, you can still set tolerance levels on the company and/or supplier records but should you enter a supplier invoice and match it to a PO where the tolerance should come in to effect no posting lines are created on the supplier invoice. E.g. receipt a PO for £10, have 10% tolerance allowed, enter supplier invoice for £11. Balance of £1 remains on the supplier invoice and

Deactivate Purchase Groups

Hello,Is there a way in IFS you can inactive Purchase Groups? When trying to delete one in the basic data, the system will not allow me: I get an error message that it’s already referenced to purchase order change lines. Funny part is when I search for those lines, I cannot find it. Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi all.I’m trying to create a part with same code for different site and different unit measure.I could see that the system allows do it just if the base UoM is the same.is there a way to disable it or another workaround?That’s because I have an integration with another system and this situation e commom.I already have lots of parts using those so that I can’t delete them and create others.Tks a lot.
