Hello,We have a scenario with a client that currently they click in a button in their legacy system and they "fetch" for example 1000 tasks and related objects from a shared queue and create them in their own system. Is it possible to do something similar in FSM with Monitor Schedule Jobs and XML maps configuration?This communication is done through FTP communication. Thanks

Scanning Guns - manufacturing tips

Hi ,I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with using IFS Aurena Scan It on android scanning devices in a warehouse? We are really struggling to provide our end users with a stream less experience and they are opting to use the PC rather than the scanning devices. Do you get your users to log on as themselves or provide generic accounts? Is there an easier way to login rather than entering username and password every time? How do you prevent your users from logging onto more than one device? Are you users expected to log out multiple times a day? Do you devices auto log out after 5 minutes of idle time? Why the manage server goes to Admin

Why the manage server goes to Admin mode and i can resume it from Oracle Weblogic Console, but after rusume status is up and running but not able login to the application shown 503 error but when i run stop_all_servers and start_all servers command again it goes to admin mode again

No data found error when editing a document

Customer is getting following error ‘no data found’ when trying to edit and and check-in a document. Did 'Undo Checkout Document' and then again tried to edit and check in, but still get the error. Anyone has an idea on how to get this resolved? Appreciate any input.

External URL is not accessible in App.

I have a external URL for TAS service. Hence i can connect to TAS and login to TAS system id using TAS interface from outside of IFS network ( using my home WIFI ).But when i tried to connect to same Using CRM companion, I am getting 404 : Login Error. Not found Any one has Any idea on this? CRM Companion dll also deployed and activated.

Partial Receipts with lot-identified items throw error on post

Hi allI’d be interested if I was missing a setting or this is a bug. Currently FSM does not allow me to post a receiving record, that I received partially. E.g. the shipment in the following example was involving 2 lots from an item and the shipment was posted, which generated a receiving record following an app param and the “In Transit” flag. For some reason, the technician when doing the goods receipt onto his van, realizes that the quantity shipped and the quantity received does not match and changes the quantity.When the receiving is being “processed” on Mobile, this will automatically trigger the receiving post. The server then throws an error message:The following exceptions occured when posting this receipt: The quantity in Lot(s) does not match the quantity.The same error message is thrown from each, WebClient and Mobile Client.Quantity shippedQuantity receivedError message on Receiving postThanks for all your advices.Kind regards:Marko

Is it possible to create a pop-up window that contains options within IFS?

Greetings, IFS communityI hope that everyone is doing well. I was wondering if there is a way to create a pop-up window that will be accessed by right-clicking.As an example:Whenever a Business Opportunity is "Confirmed" (Screenshot 1), the user has the option of right clicking on the header and selecting "Create a Sales Quotation"; an additional window will appear with additional details. Screenshot 1. When the user clicks on Create Sales Quotation, the following window will appear (screenshot 2).Has anyone created a window similar to that? Can you please provide me with some information regarding how to do this? We are getting proposals from different banks. They had the following questions that I was hoping could get answered quickly as they want to get a proposal to us. Can IFS do the following (and does it matter if its Apps9 or Apps10)? We are in the midst of upgrading • Can IFS accept a ANSI 820 EDI or Lockbox BAI – This will help us better understand if IFS can ingest the industry standard files or what alternatives it needs for cash posting & reconciliation.o If no, what formats can it ingest?• Can IFS produce an ACH NACHA file, XML/ISO 20022 – Leverage industry standards to help migrate payments from paper to electronic with greater control and oversight.o If no, what formats can it produce?• Can IFS ingest a BAI or MT940 – Automate the reconciliation process with previous day data.

Experiences with the "in memory" deployment

Hi All, It should be possible to run IFS “in memory”, this means the data-entry tables will run fully in memory.You will be able to select the tables which run in memory. This is facilitated by Oracle.I am curious whether someone has experience with this mode of running parts, or total IFS , in memory. Questions like:Will analytic background jobs run faster? Possibility to close the period for a user with a user group

Possibility to close the period for a user with a user group is not available in IFSThis is a request from a customer and I wonder whether the same received from any other ?Lets say there is a user group for AP where all AP users are connected this includes normal users and a super user.If in case you want to close the period for AP users but keep it open only for the super user, its not possible now. Because now you have to close the user group for the period !Workaround is to have more than 1 user group which is possible but a bit of extra admin.

IFS10: bad perfomance & slow startup when accessing app through a shortcut

Dear IFS Community, Background:We’re hosting IFS10 UPD8 on premise.It was recommended to us, that we should startup IFS through a Desktop shortcut.That shortcut points to a share on the MWS, where the executable is located: Issue:All users who’re using this method experience - independend if its a buisness notebook or a power pc - very long startup times (30 sec+) and - once logged in - very sluggish behaviour (views loading time, field selection, data search time and so). There are no CPU / HD / Memory / Network spikes neither on MWS, DB nor the client itself. When IFS is being accessed through a webbrowser, then IFS behaves a tad more responsive. (Even though the Web variante brings other issues). Basic question:Is anyone else who is hosting IFS on prem accessing IFS through a Destkop shortcut?And if yes, do you or did you experience similar behaviour? Any pointer into the right direction would be appreciated.BR,Cesar

Customer Order COnfirmation

Hi, I have a requirement from the customer where he wants to know if he has got the customer order on 10th of the next month and that order needs to be manufactured (with 70+ plus purchased and sub-assemblies in the BOM) first. Then do we have any functionality where system calculates all the things (like lead time, open supplies etc) and give the result whether they will be able to deliver on 10th or not. if not on 10th then on which date they will be able to deliver. Thanks
