Can I create purchase requisitions based on inventory part condition codes? Can this be done through MRP?
We have a customer who wants to capture really large files from Technical inspections - typically Videos and high resolution images.They have an option on running this on Appl 10, but eventually will have to move this to IFS Cloud.The files also needs to be shared with external parties on inspections where thrid party contractors are involved and the files needs to be accessible from with IFS Document Management if possible.Question is if we somehow can use a shared location for this - customer has asked if Snowflake could be a supported platform.I am not an expert in technical file sharing - so here is my question :-:I know we can store large files on shared locations - but does this also cover solutions like snowflake? If a file is entered via document management and stored on a shared location - can we then also share access to the file from share directly to external parties - like e.g. allowing a contractor to view a video stored in Snowflake (or similar) directly - as well as let
Is it possible to scan the the barcode and issue material against the work order using WaDaCo functionality in Aurena and Apps 10
When we issue the final invoice from a Work Order, the “Delivery Date” doesn’t follow the actual “Service/Delivery Date” filled in, creating confusion and questions from our Customers. We cannot adjust the “Wanted Delivery Date” on the Customer Order lines and no matter what we put on the work order the “Delivery Date” on the line level remains the invoice date. Isn’t there a way around this, so we can put in the day we actually did the service and not when we did the invoice? Thanks,Michael
Is there a way to sort the Delivery number Alphanumeric from for example 1 to 100. Now it sorts all numbers 1, 10 ,11, etc, and then 2, 20, 21 etc. This is very unclear.
Hello all,The issue of transferring delivery notes (i.e. in paper form) to IFS using recognition software has arisen in our company, so that they can always be found digitally (in IFS) and no time-consuming searching is necessary. Accordingly, we want to get away from the paper form. In the end, there should be a link between the delivery note and the purchase order placed, and this link should be retrievable in the attachments in the IFS on the corresponding screen.Have any of you already gone through such an implementation? If so, what recognition software was used and how was it implemented?We have roughly thought of the following:1. the received delivery note is recognized by the recognition software by means of the delivery notes number.2. this received delivery note is first processed there.3. after that the XML and the PDF file of the delivery note is sent to IFS.4. the PDF file and the XML file of the delivery note are to be stored in the attachments in the "Dispatch Advice" sc

When creating a manual supplier invoice to match to an inventory receipt, should it put the receipt back onto Receipts not yet Invoiced report if you cancel the invoice. Yesterday I created a manual supplier invoice and matched it to a duplicate receipt, but had to cancel the manual invoice after the matching process and start over. What I noticed is that even after canceling the manual invoice, it removed the receipt from Receipts not yet invoiced and my report were out of balance to the GL. Today, I created a new Manual Supplier Invoice and matched to the same receipt and posted, now my RNV report and GL are back in balance. Is this how the system is intended to work? We haven’t been able to successfully print yet. Every time a report gets sent to one of the logical printers set up, there is an error and no text to explain the error. I don’t know if the layout is the primary reason for the error but even if it’s not, we don’t have A4 paper to print? Any guidance here would be helpful! Thanks!
In Apps 9 there was a field within both Part and No Part Requisition Lines called ‘Cost Return At’. If this value was set to ‘Arrival’, this would create a work order posting when the purchase order created from the requisition was received. I cannot see an equivalent field in Apps 10. Is this functionality available somewhere else? We basically want an entry in the Cost tab of the Work Order Task when a purchase order (created via requisition) is receipted.

Hello,When we pass a XPATH value in Report Rule-->Actions for type ‘Set Property’ , the report works fine in IFS EE but not in Aurena.(Apps 10)The Xpath fetches a number for property list ‘Copies’NOTE: If we pass a number for Copies directly , it is working Ok in IFS EE as well as IFS Aurena. When a quick report is published, it grants the Projection to all available permission sets.THere is no easy way to “Unpublish” the quick report.I cannot find any option to select a Projection, and then remove access for this projection for several permission sets at the same time. This would be a most helpful feature.My customer (currently 21R2) has hundreds of permission sets, to go in to every single permission set to remove the grant, would take a very long time.
I am referring to the window Human Resources > Time Management > Time Registration in IFS9 that we use. When someone reports, say, 10 hours its nice to have a popup asking them to make mandatory attendance notes. In your view, would we need a customization To have a warning Only Information Message ?What would be a good workaround without going through a customization?
Our business is beginning to allowing users outside of our IT department use the lobby designer tool. Our bottleneck right now is permissions, when any user creates a lobby it must be then added to our Lobby designer permission set in order for that user to start working in their lobby. This is the case for elements and data sources as well. Is there a way for IFS to automatically add these new lobbies, elements, and data sources to this permission set so that we do not have to manually add them each time?

does ifs provide management of certificates of conformance ? when we send goods, a delivery note comes with the shipment. for each part and batch, a certificate of conformance should also come along the shipment. for instance, we would like to have one delivery note and as many CC as there are parts and batchs in the shipment.
