We have an issue with the Supervisor access setup that some supervisors can see the employees that they are not authorized to see. So after looking in IFS documentation, we found this database task “Refresh Access Cache” can solve the problem and after running this job it solved the issue.But in the documentation, I see the below message.This task refreshes the access security cache fully. This task should be executed only when there is a prediction about wrong entries existing in the access cache.We are planning to run this daily but not sure how we can predict wrong entries predictions. Is there any way to check it?Also if we run this job daily then what can be the issue as IFS does not suggest anything to run daily? We are implementing ISO20022 payments for a Hong Kong company and they are working with HSBC. The question is whether it is possible to include more than one Supplier for cross border payments.E.g. the payment order will include 2 EUR invoices from 2 suppliers. With the current setup the xml file group all the transactions by the currency so that it shows 2 under the tag <NbOfTxs>. However, bank wants this separated as 1 transaction under <PmtInf>. Is there any setup in IFS we can achieve this. Or should we always include 1 supplier for cross border payments?Please see the current setup for Format Specific Info.Appreciate if anyone can share their knowledge in this area.

Hi,I was using PLSQL_Rest_Sender_API on IFS application 10. I want to send a JSON payload to a REST endpoint. I created a CLOB in JSON format in my Utility API. But when I call the procedure “Call_Rest_Endpoint1” it doesn’t accept a JSON clob. It gives the following error in the generated application message - ORA-20105: PlsqlapServer.ERRINV: XMLREADER_NEXT:Cannot move to next XML event at [1:1]: Unexpected character '{' (code 123) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1] Caused by: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character '{' (code 123) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1] I tried other Call_Rest_EndpointX versions of the procedure but no luck.Does IFS Application 10 not support JSON? There are procedures in Rest sender API in Cloud that accepts JSON payload. I think I have to do manual work here by writing my own transformer. Not sure even if that would work.
Hi Team,Customer create customer statements. This should be a record of all the transactions they had during a given voucher period. Which should show invoices due, check payments against an invoice, and any invoices where interest is charged.Can this be accomplished? Customer was able to do something similar to what they wanted with the customer transactions report, but this can't be batched and sent to all customers at once. One run one at a time. I’ve had 2 customers on IFS Cloud that did not have Use Place Management available by default. I’ve not seen any documentation to suggest it is something that needs to be requested.As you can imagine, it’s only when UPM is needed that they realize it is not present, and it causes confusion and delay.Is Use Place Management supposed to be available without it having to be requested?
Dear allPlease can anyone tell me, why the following issue could have occured?A customer of ours has two environments, one is OnPrem, the other is hosted on the Cloud. Both are the same Application versions, Apps 10 Update 8.Yet there has one specific LU been identified, where no Custom Fields could be created. Then we looked into the LU itself, follwing the path: Solution Manager > System and Utilities > Logical Units > Logical Unit.There we have found that this specific LU CustomerOrderInvItem differs between the both environments. CloudOnPremise The OnPrem environment is host for “Custom Fields” and has the “RowKey activated”. The Cloud environment isn’t at all, which prevents us from creating Custom Fields.What’s the risk of enabling it and does it have any impact now? Is there anything that needs to be paid attention to, before activating the flags? What could be the reason, that it differs on both environments? Hi all,I searched through the tech docs and these forums, but I am having a problem figuring out if I can create some conditional formatting based on what approval step a Change Order is at. I see there are available columns such as Approved By, etc, but I’m referring to the Attachments pane → Approval Process. Is there some sort of SQL magic I can insert? For Example:I’d like the Sales Price Group field (on a CO Line under the Actions tab) to be mandatory IF the Change Order is at the Approval Step where Group ID = ‘PRICE_APPROVERS’. Hello. I am testing DOP with visual planning. I have a customer order released with 1 manufactured finished good part, 1 manufactured component, and 2 purchased components, all set as DOP. I released my customer order, which automatically created shop orders for the 2 manufactured parts (in planned status, we can ignore purchased parts for now). I go into Visual Shop Order Operations Planning and move my finished good order up 2 days as I have a conflict with other demand. I would anticipate that my manufactured component order would move as well since they are connected, but it did not. I now have my component order being made after my finished good order (which makes no sense). I do have an alarm, but I am wondering if there is a way to automate the move of component orders with the finished good order. Does this exist? If so, how would I set this up to keep them together when I am doing machine planning for the finished good?Robin
HI,in the Cloud, version 23.1.2, we are seeing the following when testing. I tested package parts and they work fine in business opportunities. But when I go to send it over to a customer order, I get an error message that non-inventory sales parts cannot be package parts. That is also true if you try to put supply code package on a non-inventory part on just a straight customer order.Is this something new? If so, why would it allow you to non-inventory parts to a BO for a package part? Thanks,Jo

Dear All,This problem occures when there is a expired account and that user trying to login through web portal(APPS 9 b2e) and provide a new password . But user able to update with new password through application without any issue. Don't know exact reason for this. Hoping for help to fix this. Since most of users use only b2e web. For reasons we do not understand, we have a shipment that appears in IFS as not shipped. But it has physically been shipped (not in IFS), invoiced (in IFS) and paid (in IFS).Now we have 422 parts left in the “Inventory Parts in Shipment Inventory”, all linked to shipment 94! Shipment 94 is a consolidation 21 different customer orders all meant for the same customer in one huge shipment.First thought was to simply scrap the parts for each line of the “Inventory Parts in Shipment Inventory” that should no longer be there but we get the following error message: If we try to return the part in inventory (we could then do a cycle count to 0): we get this error message:We Make-to-Order but we should at least have the one part that is supposedly still at our shipment location!What can we do to get those parts out of “Inventory Parts in Shipment Inventory”?
