We are trying to change our Apps 10 instance to use a custom url such as ifs.domain.com so we can use our wildcard certificate to secure the connection. We have a .local internal AD domain (can’t be changed right now) and don’t want to point users to the app server name to access IFS. DNS is pointed correctly. We have changed the <ifs.system.url> in the instance XML file and started services again, but not sure what else to do to get this to work.

Hi,We are using IFS Cloud Build Place to do development. When we set up local development environment, some cloud developers cannot login DEV environments with error “Too long” but the others can. The VPN connection is fine with green light. In this scenario, the developer also couldn’t login DEV database through PL/SQL developer. What’s the root reason of this? Thanks in advance!

HI , Currently we have single instance of IFS server running on Azure VM on windows server 2019. This IFS middleware server is connected to the utility servers (IFS TAS and Print Agent), Demand Plan servers and Oracle DB server (all on windows server 2019). At this point we have to bring down the application while doing the planned maintenance. So would like to understand what would be the best possible approach to patch the the environment with zero or near zero downtime. Does anyone here have any such scenario and can you please provide some thoughts to further planning the solution? TIA.
In a "manufactured" DOP structure, when the "manufactured" DOP structure is released, a Production Order with the status "planned" is created. If a component in the DOP structure is in MRP procurement, the IFS will create a reservation for that component if it is available in stock and the DOP structure is in automatic netting.At the time of the release of the OF, it will reserve the components of the Production Order, taking over the stock reservations that are on the DOP structure.But the reservation rules are not respected. The postponement of this reservation does not use the rules of the reservation that is made manually on the Production Order.How is the reservation (DOP Netting) done on the DOP, and why does it not use the reservation rules like the Production Order? Hello, we are currently using Apps10 and I wanted to know if there was a way to notify the originator of a purchase requisition if there was a chance made to the delivery date on the corresponding purchase order.
I have created a Crystal Report with a Filter that works in Crystal Designer but when I launch in IFS via Quick Reports it does not prompt for the Filter so displays the report blank? In the back of my mind I feel like I need another field, hidden in the report to make it work but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. can anyone advise why the Crystal Report Filter does not prompt? Why can’t you add no part PO requisitions to an existing PO so that a change order would be created? For parts this works ok. If you are using PO authorizations this means in practise that you can actually never add these no part PO requisitions to an existing PO because the changes are only allowed in the limit of PO amount.

The problem: The PrintAgent service is stopped when restarting the computer. I installed the PrintAgent with an local account I made and put it in the Administrators group on the local computer. I run the PowerShell script as described for the local admin account I made.The installation went fine and the PrintAgent is looking for jobs and works until the computer is restarted.
