Why does person.mobile_user get set to Y on Person record creation?

Using the Import/Export feature or the Person Copy feature to create Person records, the mobile_user setting of ‘N’ is being changed to ‘Y’. Why is this happening?There is an App Param named MOBILE_USER_LICENSE_TYPES which identifies the license types that enable use of FSM Mobile. Intending to be helpful, it sets the person.mobile_user = ‘Y’ automatically.The App Param named MOBILE_USER_LICENSE_TYPES overrides the person.mobile_user value set in Person Import or Copy Person function on Person record creation.The default value of this parameter is “STUDIO,NAMED,MOBILE”. This parameter can be changed if desired to restrict the setting of mobile_user to fewer license types.However, if the App Param is changed to remove any of those license types, e.g., ‘NAMED’, it will not be possible to set person.mobile_user = ‘Y’ on a Person record with a NAMED license type.Keep in mind that a STUDIO license type is required for access to the Mobile Designer feature. Why IFS Failed to Create Eng Part Revision & Structure

Community, This is question is more technical related. IFS assisted to developed the interface with Windchill, Windchill will be the source of truth and sync with IFS at real time. rounding method arithmetical absence limit definitions

In the Incoming Dispatch Advice page there are tabs regarding handling units, however there does not appear to be any options to create the handling units. Is this only possible when creating via connectivity? If so, how is that achieved?

Part Cost Rowversion Not Updating

I have a customer using Apps 10 Update 14. I’ve noticed when a part’s cost changes in part_cost_history, the rowversion in inventory_part_unit_cost_tab is not updated. This means that the cost can change in that table without the rowversion reflecting that it’s been changed. Is this intended functionality or a bug? Small test:Create part and give it an initial unit cost on 10/2 Change the cost on 10/3 Notice that the rowversion still says 10/2 although the cost is now updated.

Deleting Multi-Field Property

We cleaned the database from Multifield Property data on Employee level en stripped the Property Fields Values, but we can’t delete them fully. Without that we cant delete the multi-field property.Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Multiple answer registered for Attachment type question in a survey!

Currently I’m working on a project where I need to capture survey responses for multiple survey in a single task. Each survey have multiple attachment type questions. During my testing I found that when I’m taking the first survey (with attachment type questions) there is no issue, but in the subsequent surveys when they’re reached at the end and I’m saving the surveys. It is syncing the responses of the previous surveys as well, and it is happening for rest of the survey. For example, if there are 25 surveys and the first survey is synced to the survey 25 time the 2nd survey 24 time and so on.Here in this example: I’ve queried all responses for first survey (survey_id: 261), first question (question_id: 3295) and task id (61232), which should’ve only one response but in reality, there are 38 responses registered by server. If noticed properly the answers are exactly the same but creation time is different (i.e. at the end of each survey).* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

RRP Work Center Setup

We are attempting to set up work centers for RRP in IFS. We currently have 13 Work Centers that show up in RRP Load Analysis. We have many other work centers that do not show up in RRP. To Our knowledge, we did not intentionally set up these 13 work centers in RRP. Our best guess as to why these show up and others do not is that it has to do with the basic data setup for the work centers. We have been digging through the IFS help on this subject and have not been able to find detailed instructions on how to setup an existing work center to function with RRP. Can anyone provide instructions to set up RRP for existing work centers?

Workflow to create resource groups

I’m trying to automate a process involving creating resource groups using workflow. I’ve found the projection NewResourceGroup, but for some reason it doesn’t seem to work inside a workflow. It works fine though Postman.Workflow: The first step creates the resource group. Defined as: And an object seem to be created: I’ve understood that to use bound actions I need to read the object before and result looks OK after read: I get no errors in the two following call actions: However, no resource group is created: I’m able to create a resourcegroup using the same parameters, but doing the same api calls directly from postman. I’m obviously missing something in the workflow, but what? Anyone that has experienced something similar?

In FSM how get a part installed that becomes a product to add to the product structure?

I am using the PI part line code and have set the ‘Update Product Structure’ flag to = ‘Y’ but when i complete a part usage it does not add to a structure. It creates or updates the product record correctly.How do I get it to update the structure when completing part usage?

PSO Tool Panel and Scheduling Information Tab Issues

Hello all, I have an issue with the Tool Panel and Scheduling Information Tab. The first requirement is that the fields in the red boxes should not appear at all in this specific tab when the user clicks on "make changes" button. However, I haven't found how to implement it. I have only managed to disable "Base Duration" and "Override Duration" through permissions so that the user can see them but cannot edit them.So the fields that should be hidden are:Update expected arrival time Base Duration Override Duration Attention textAnd when we choose status committed the 3 fieldsCommit the activity Commit the activity and preceding route Commit the activity and route The second requirement is about status transitions. Hi All, I have an issue where follow on visits are being created for a work task even though follow on visits are not required. as you can see in the below Assignment is sent to the mobile only one allocation is visible Assignment is now completed in MWO New allocation is created for a follow on visit that is not required Can anyone advise why these follow on visits are being created. Skills integration from FSM to PSO

Hi Experts! Have a question regarding the use of person_skills in FSM and PSO. In PSO integration, we know that whatever is in the person_skills will be pushed to PSO and PSo wil schedule accordingly.Eg. If Place A has Skill A and Person has Skill A, PSO can schedule Person A to any task in Place A. In the Person_skills table, there is a column called skill level. I do not see this column (Person_skill.skill_level) in PSO. Does PSO cater for this column? How does PSO use Skill_level?
