Hi Experts, There is a requirement where I need to open an external application using a link on a field. I had written a Client script and when I put this on a button of project ex. Copy button on Click event, the new application gets opened but I am not sure how to place this Client script on The hyperlink on the field to open the application. Configurations I did on copy button of project Configuration done on the field where I need to open new application using Hyperlink.but this is not working. RegardsAbhishek

Hello,I am trying to import the States, Counties, Cities and Zip Codes via migration. Client needs to import this data for US. When I am trying to add a state manually or via job (clients wants to add 3 apart from these already existing in IFS) I have the following message (exemple below): The same thing is for the counties and cities. The system doesn’t allow to add a new line for an existing state, city etc. Are there any parameters to change to be able to add data for the existing values of a country etc.?The IFS screens are: States, Counties, Cities and Zip Codes. For information, I migrated all data for a country for which I added the states from scratch (in my exemple Canada) and I was able to create manually/ migrate the data from states to zip codes. The customer's production environment web client fails randomly with HTTP 500. Based on the IIS logs the failure happens mostly in the customized screen request. Hi All,Do you have any experience with reading the 7Zip(.7z) file content in the Cloud environment (23.1.0)? In my requirement, I need to download and read the 7zip file. I tried out several ways and it didn’t go well in the end.One thing I tried out is using the response transformer (byte type transformer) in the routing address (Transport connector is REST) and reading the 7zip content. When I was testing this transformer in the developer studio it worked well and provided the expected output. But in the application, it gives the following error:However, when we open the jar file, the Coders class is already present. Then we attempted to alter the library's version, but it did not work.Is there a different method to incorporate these libraries into the application?Instead of this, what other options do we have to attain this goal? Hi!We are trying to create a custom variant of a command that exists in core, that uses legacy security checkpoints. The standard command works fine, but ours does not. We get an error message stating that password cannot be null. What we are trying to achieve is to perform the operation for multiple records rather than one, so that may be the issue here. I think the security checkpoint is embedded in the modify logic of the entity.Can this be achieved with (legacy) security checkpoints, or do they not work with bulk actions?Also, is there a more in-deep source of information on security checkpoints somewhere?

This is more a general Aurena question than Distribution, but it has to do with the Customer Order page specifically. Attempting to set a Subscription on a particular order, the Status field is not an available selection - which would be the most commonly used purpose for a subscription, yet fields like Site, Currency, Order Number, Order Type are all listed as possible selections - yet those are fields that can never change on an order. It also doesn’t have our custom fields in the list. Can they be added or can the projection configuration be changed to select or exclude items in the list? Is the Subscription process really this poorly designed or am I missing something to configure it better so it can be used effectively? In its current state, it is pretty useless for the things users would want to see.
We have a unit code of ea which shouldn’t have been created but can’t delete it because it’s been used. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to ensure that the users cannot type ea instead of EA?
Hi everyone, For context, I’m trying to use a projections custom action to call a package procedure, passing in values on the page. This Package procedure is from a package I created, not IFS standard Based on what is seen in the documentation for a procedure to be eligible, my procedure should satisfy the requirements (see below). My method is to be called Test_Package.test_proc test_proc is a procedure with no parameters In the Custom Actions section of the Page Configuration screen we can select a PL/SQL method.clicking on the “find” option for PL/SQL method we get a list of available methods to be used. What needs to be done in order for my created package procedure to show up here? How is this list generated?Currently, my package procedure as well as the hundreds of other packages we have created that exist in our database aren’t appearing in this list. thankyou,Lavon

we are needing to exclude PM action inventory demand from being included in MRP or Order Proposal and “force” it to be bought via a manual purchase requisition on the work order. We are using Apps 10 UPD14.Primary aim is to not create “automatic” purchase requisitions and use the work order purchase requisition so that the “Ordered For” field is updated on the Purchase Order for easier reference at time of receiving to know whether the part is for stock replenishment or needs kitted for a work order.

Hi, we are currently investigating to start using constraint based planning for employees/persons. However, we are struggling. How can we assign persons to operations? Can be with APB, or not, we don’t know either way. Does this option give us the possibility to generate planning on a person level? How can we also set the labor capacity as a seperate contstraint factor? Currently, APB only takes workcenters into account so we manually check afterwards. Is it possible to assign some kind of efficiency to a operator? Lets say person A can do a certain job at 100% (which equals 4 hours). However, if we assign person B to that same operation because A is not available, he will not score 100%. We estimate it to be 50% because he is less well trained, so the operation will take 8 hours. Is something like this possible?Using IFS Apps 10.Thanks!

Just the manager will see on which task that resource is assigned. So I created him as a person & resource under a res group NOT as a user. I saw there is no way I can mark him invalid as I can do for a user. How can I change this?For a user, I get this option
