Summer time failling in database processes

Hi all, After the weekend of 30th of March, we switched to summertime in France. After that, we have alerts coming from system-defined monitoring in App Monitoring about background jobs “stuck” (request for this alert is : SELECT COUNT(*) FROM batch_job_count WHERE action LIKE '%Transaction_SYS.%' AND next_date < (sysdate - 15/86400) AND enabled = 'TRUE' AND status != 'RUNNING'). After a check, it seems the times are not set the same way in “Database Processes” (guess : UTC) and Background jobs schedules (guess : UTC+1). Do you experienced same issue ? Is there any fix about that or shall we modify the request to have a correct alert ?

Hi all, we are currently on 23R2 and I was watching this IFS tutorial about bank statement reconciliation.in this tutorial is visible how you import camt053 and automatically match and create mixed payment. We are not using camt.053 but mt940 (or transformed version to xml). Is there any tutorial which show how to import xml (or mt940)? and automatically reconciliate bank statements? Recording individual serial numbers of multiple parts inside a serialized top level part

HiMy company has a situation with a customer where we will supply the same part in either a single or a pack of 10. These are not manufactured by us and are dispatched by the sub-contractor direct to the customer. On single unit items, we receive a .csv file that we can upload into IFS without issue, but now that a client wants a pack of 10 in a single box, rather than 10 of the boxed single items, we are at lost as to upload into the system to allow us to monitor the warranty returns against the units serial number rather than the pack of 10 serial number. Find it awkward to not to be able to have a serialized part in a non- serialized upper level.Has anyone come across a similar situation with a solution?

IFS Cloud - Creating order lines

In IFS Cloud, creating an order. My team is finding that we have to hit the + sign multiple times to get to the next order line. Some are also hitting save after each item in the new order. And Sometimes they have to hit Save twice to actually get the line to save. We also have team members who use the keyboard shortcut Alt + N because they dont want to have to take their hands off the keyboard to generate a new item line. Some reps are preloading blank item lines so they dont have to hit + between each item. What is the quickest way to enter lines in a new order? Is there a way to enter 50 blank lines all at once and delete any unused lines? Our catalog includes 100’s of items and the customers quickly read off a list and we need to keep up. I would greatly appreciate any insight how to make entering items on the order easier and faster.

FSM 6u24 - task.note seems to always be part of the payload

Good Evening, We've observed that the task.note field is consistently included in various payloads.During unrelated (task) imports, the task.note appears in the error logs and import results.It also shows up when updates are applied to tasks (update results) and when checking mx_u for usage activity, as it is present in every XML payload (mx_u_07). Despite confirming that neither FSM Default nor custom metadata has the task.note set to Force Select, and even after creating a custom column definition for task.note with Force Select explicitly set to "N", the issue persists. Our problem with this is that task.note often contains extensive text related to job specifications, making it a substantial addition to every payload, usage record, import log, and update payload. This likely impacts performance. Also, the length and format of task.note complicates reading our import logs and is problematic to paste into Excel due to multiple line breaks. External Customer Payment

Hi everybody, I would like to import an external customer payment and match the information with an invoice by creating a mixed payment. Basic data : Create a template Create a Payment Format ID ; Create Payment Method and set payment method per institute and external payment parameters When we do that we can import correctly the CSV file and this file will be generated in the path menu External Payments : When i check the detail i don't have a matching with the invoice and i miss the information If someone know the setting to do? Supervisor access - Managers with same position but different direct reports

Hi All, We are looking for some suggestions on how other companies are handling this situation with HR Supervisor access. Team leads have the positions Team_lead Techs reports to team leads and have the position techs. There are 4 teams with 4 people who have the position Team_Lead. Each person has 4 different techs reporting to them. With our supervisor access Position tech reports to team_lead. As a result, each person is a tech lead has access to all the people that have the position tech and not just the team members that are direct reports. This results in various issues, namely with time authorization the team lead has to create a saved search to look for his direct reports instead of using the direct reports check box. What are we missing? We know we can create a different position for each tech lead but that seems excessive.

External payment parameters for customer payment

Hello to the community, NB : I have 2 templates for customer payments, one where the account number is a default value on template + default value on message code set as well and when I use this one, payment is uploaded successfully. I copied this template and created a new one where there is no default value on account number so I can fill it in the imported document and I get the same error message everytime saying the system did not find the short name for the payment institute named SOGE. I think there might be something missing in the external payment parameter regarding the payment institute but I can’t figure out what exactly. Here are some screenshots of my external payment parameter : Here is the template i use with some default value set for message code. I don’t clearly understand how message code and externa payment parameters work in general so if you have any idea on the problem, please share your thoughts and experience. Thanks Tanya

Project and Cascading Cost

We are currently using IFS 10/UPD 18. We currently have all parts setup as average cost/cost per part. We also use the project system for shop order processing. Our issue is that due to IFS cascading cost revaluation entries, projects we have closed completely, from the project itself to the financial project, are being created. These are due to average costing changes. We understand the cause. The problem is that outside of the fact we do not want a project to be touched after it is closed, these same transactions become posting errors because the project is closed. The only way to get them to post is to open up the financial project, open up the project and open up the activity. Outside of turning on lot/batch control/changing the project after it is completed, to non-capitalization, does anyone have a superior solution? Thanks,Rich

My problem is i cannot find the non-supplier payment in supplier payment proposals to be able to process the refund through the bank.How do i process this non-supplier payment?

Use of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in Project Management

We are an Apps 8 user and already use the Project Management module, including the WBS element. However, at this time we do not utilise the CBS element and I have struggled to work out how to utilise this alongside the WBS to any real advantage. Are there any good papers/user guides/experiences out there that might assist? The on-line Help files aren’t helping much.Thanks!

Raw Material planning - Silo consumption

The Shop Orders at our customers often have a long through put time while the raw materials are located in silos with a limited capacity.In IFSCloud the MRP proposals for the total component quantity of the shop order are placed on the start date of the order.Is there a technique in IFS to spread the supply/ receipts proportionally to the demand consumption over the lead time of the shop orders so that the silos are regularly refilled with a smaller chance of overflow?
