IFS Cloud 23R2 - Text Translations

Hello,I’m trying to add translations to fields and screen label values through the ‘Text Translations’ screen. After updating the text, I’ve Approved the translation and refreshed the language cache by Language option. But I do not see any changes to the field label value in Work Order screen. I’ve validated the same in Build Place and CFG environments.Example: Directive field is renamed as DescriptionIs there any other step I’m missing? Please advice.Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

IFS Cloud 22R2 - Editable Function in Page Designer

Hello,in IFS Cloud 22R2, we have a property called ‘Editable Function’ in the Page Designer. I believe using this property, we can include conditions/parameters based on which the field will be marked either as Editable or Read-Only. But currently, it doesn’t allow us to add any conditions. Is there a specific scenario when we can use this property? Also, do we have any supporting documents or reference fields with this property enabled? Please let me know. Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

Read Survey Answers in Cloud Through BPA

Hello,While reading the records from Survey Answers screen through BPA, I get the below error while debugging the workflow. Does any one know why I’m getting this error when the attribute ‘NEXT_SURVEY_ID’ is not part of the entity ‘SurveyAnswers’? Also, which entity set should be used to read Survey Answers? If I use the entity set ‘SurveyAnswersSet’, when a survey is created from mWO, it does not trigger the workflow. I’ve tried using both Projection Action and Custom Events. Cloud 22R1 - mWO Service Windows Push Notification

Hello,I’m trying to enable Push Notification option in Windows environment (laptop) for mWO Service. I do not see an option to enable Notification within the windows app settings. Cloud 23R1 - Update Work Assignment Status from Cloud

Hello,We are using IFS Cloud 23R1 SU3. Once we Transfer a work assignment to mobile and when we try to update the status from Cloud, it throws the below validation. Is there a way we can update the status from Cloud so the Dispatcher or Manager can manually change the status?In the below example, the work assignment is in the ‘Pending Completion’ status and we are trying to update it to ‘Work Started’ or ‘Incomplete’.Please let me know.Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

Lobby - Page Parameters

Hello,I would like to understand how Page Parameter works in lobbies. We are using IFS Cloud 23R1.Scenario 1:I tried to add 2 variables in Datasource Designer as parameters. In the Element Designer, if I do not pass any value for the parameter, I assume it should display all the records from Work Task. But it displays only records which has the parameter value in the actual record. Example: In the below image, Work Tasks 29, 328 and 9 have the value for Class of Service field. Therefore, the data is displayed in lobby. For the other tasks, the Class of Service value is null in the Work Task, therefore those details are not displayed. If I remove the page parameter from the Datasource Designer, all the below details are displayed in the lobby. This is the expected data if I do not pass any value in the page parameter.Is the Page Parameter considered as a mandatory value to fetch the records? Is there a way I can achieve the same? BPA - User Interactive Form Properties

Hello,In BPA, for User Interactive Form, we have an option to select the form field type as ‘Custom Type’. I couldn’t find any documentation related to this property and how it can be used.Also, for the ‘Text’ type we are unable to add Label values. Is there a possibility to include Label for text field and what is the maximum character length for this field?Is there any documentation for these properties? We are using Cloud 23.1.3. Migration Jobs - Service Resource, Resource Connection and Employee Creation

Hello,I’ve created a Migration job for importing new service resources in Cloud. By baseline, while creating a New Service Resource, it automatically creates a Maintenance Employee record and assigns it to the Service Resource created.But while creating a Migration job, the Maintenance Employee record is not created. Also the Resource Connection with the Company and Site are not setup properly.Below is the Method List used to create Service Resources and Connections. What could be the possible reasons? Issue in MWO_Field_Service Permission Set

Hello,I suddenly see this behavior in one of our environments that when I add the MWO_FIELD_SERVICE permission set, the ServiceEngApp projection displays that it does not have any pages associated to it. Due to this, in mobile I’m unable to view any screen. This was working fine previously and I can see this option in other environments.Has anyone faced this issue before and resolved? Cloud 23R1 - Display Survey Answers in Work Task or Assignment

Hello,Is there a way we can link the entity ‘SurveyAnswersEntity’ which is in projection ‘WorkTaskSurvey’ with entity ‘JtTask’ in projection ‘WorkTaskHandling’? Currently, we have the entity ‘JtTaskSurveyAnswers’ which can be linked to ‘JtTask’ but there is no Description for the survey answer in this entity. Therefore, we would like to link these entities to fetch the description and other required information from ‘SurveyAnswersEntity’.Please let me know if there is a possibility. 23R1 Cloud - Binding Custom Entity to Baseline Entity in Work Task Screen

Hello All,There is a limitation in Cloud that we cannot add/update custom attributes to JtExecutionInstance entity. Therefore, I’ve created a custom entity and associated it with JtExecutionInstance as shown below.Custom Entity: Created a custom entity with few attributes. Projection Configuration: Created a projection configuration and linked both JtExecutionInstance and STJtExecutionInsExt. Page Designer: Using page designer in Work Task screen, I’ve created a List for the custom entity. Added this list to the Assignment tab as shown below with the Binding. When I save and try to add a new record to the custom entity, it shows an error.Am I missing any configuration or binding value provided is wrong? mWO Service - Custom Attributes in My Work & Work Details

Hello,Can we include custom attributes from JtTask entity to ‘My Work’ and ‘Work Details’ screen in mobile? The ‘My Work’ screen has ‘JtExecutionInstance’ as the entity. I updated the entity to ‘JtTask’ and was able to add custom fields. But the data is not reflected in mobile. Similarly, I added custom attributes to ‘Work Details’ screen but unable to view the data.When I check the database viewer in mobile, I can view the values for these fields. Cloud 22R2 - Fetch Work Status from mWO Service to a Custom Field

Hello,I would like to fetch the Work Status of the technician from an attribute in baseline entity (ResLatestLogonStatus) to a custom attribute in another baseline entity (JtExecutionInstance). From mobile (mWO Service) when the technician changes the Work Status, it should reflect in the Custom Attribute in JtExecutionInstance. I’ve tried creating a custom attribute in JtExecutionInstance with PL/SQL expression but receive the below error while Publishing. The expression used in the attribute: Res_Latest_Logon_Status_API.Get_Logon_Status(resource_seq)Can we use Custom Events and Actions to achieve this logic? mWO - Force Initialize from IFS Cloud

Hi Team,Is there a way we can Force Initialize the mWO app from back office (i.e., Cloud application)? Similar to how we had in FSM using the mobile dashboard.In Cloud, we see the option ‘Test Initialization’ in Mobile App User Details screen. Cloud 23R1 - Reference Attribute Error in mWO Service

Hello,Is it possible to reference a custom attribute to the JtExecutionInstance State value to display in mWO Service?I added a custom attribute and referenced to Jt_Execution_Instance State value.Added this attribute to the WorkTaskDetails screen in mWO Service. mWO Service - Survey Answer Field Length

Hello,In the Cloud application, when we look at the screen ‘Survey Answers’, the entity ‘SurveyAnswersEntity’ is not visible when we search in the Entity screen.Rather, another entity ‘SurveyAnswer’ is visible and the ‘Answer’ attribute has a field length of 4000 characters.But when we view the entity ‘JtTaskSurveyAnswers’ which is sent to mobile, the ‘Answer’ attribute has a field length of only 2000 characters for an Open-ended question.Is there a way we could increase the field length of the ‘Answer’ attribute for an Open-ended question to 4000 characters in mobile? Cloud 23R1 - mWO Service - Update Assignment Status based on Break Status

Hello Team,We have the below requirement in mobile:If the technician has any Assignment in their work list with the next status as ‘Pause’ while the technician has started their Break from the ‘Show Breaks’ screen, we would like to automatically change the Assignment status to ‘Pause’. Similarly, when the technician Ends the Break from the ‘Show Breaks’ screen and if there is an Assignment in ‘Pause’ status, it should be automatically changed to ‘Continue’.Please let me know if there is any solution for this scenario. Cloud 22R2 - mWO Service - Resource Break Update using BPA

Hello,Using BPA, can we start and end the resource break in mWO Service?I’ve created a Projection in BPA to call the ‘ResourceAvailBreak_StartBreak():Void’ function. When I debug the workflow, it does not evaluate and stops before this process. Is there any other approach through which we can start/end breaks for the service resource? Please suggest. FSM 6U23 - Attachment in Mobile

Hello,I’m using the Attachment functionality in mobile to capture attachments in Receiving Unit PO screen. From the ReceivingUnitPO screen in Designer, selected the table Receiving_Unit and using the Attachment icon, selected user_def_num1 field to store the attachment.After choosing an attachment and while the record is saved, the receiving_unit.user_def_num1 field stores a negative integer value such as -1, -2, etc., in the DB instead of the Attachment ID. Cloud 23R1 - Service Resource Details - Defaulting Page Form and Search Criteria

Hi All,Is there a way to default a PageForm in Cloud through Page Designer. Below is an example:In the Service Resource Details screen, there are multiple forms as shown below. Navigate to Service Management > Request Management > Basic Data > Resource Basic Data > Service Resource Details I would like the ‘PersonForm’ to be the Default form when a user opens the screen. Is this achievable using the existing baseline screen? Also, I would like the screen to default the Search Criteria to ResourceType = ‘Person’ and this criteria shouldn’t be editable for the user.Are the above 2 queries feasible? mWO Service - Adding List Screens to the Work Details Menu

Hello,Can we have a direct link to the Work Order Journal list screen in mWO Service rather than navigating to Work Order > Work Order Journal? I tried adding a Command Group to Navigate to the baseline WorkOrderJournal page from Work Details but it doesn’t redirect me to the screen but stays in Work Details.Please let me know the possibilities.
