Hi all, Since yesterday some of our users are getting this type of errormessage in the application.We managed to fix it by removing the app files from \appdata\ to clean off the client.Error where received by different users and for different objectsWe are running IFS 10 upd 3Any idea what could cause these type of errors?
Hi, We have few MPL vouchers currently in status not approved and they do not appear in the Approve Vouchers window so there we do not have the option to approve them.When trying to open up in Voucher Entry window system hangs/freez since they are too large (Too many lines). We do not know why they are not approved.When we run query in pl/sql developper on VOUCHER view there are no update errors, voucher status is Not Approved and voucher_status_db is Waiting.Any suggestion on how we could get them approved? When trying to create migration job for method Invent_Part_Quantity_Util_API.Move_Part and it’s not possible to save the job but you get error :Error making attribute and references - IntfaceMethodList.ILLARGTYPE:Arguement VALIDATE_HU_STRUCT_POSITION_ has illegal type. Only datatype DATE VARCHAR2 NUMBER allowed Same with Inventory_part_in_stock_API.Issue_Part_with_PostingReason seems to be that there are boolean arguments and this is not supported in data migration. Is there a way around this issue?

Hi, We noticed that the system uses different pdf version for different reports in IFS.We use report designer reports and we run IFS 10 upd 3Invoices and Collective Invoices are created as PDF version 1.3Confirmation of Customer Order is created as PDF version 1.4Is there a way to adjust the version used so we get version 1.4 used also for invoices? When receiving an Invoice from supplier thorugh EDI we have no picture file included. In IFS External supplier invoice parameters you can tick the option Create Image. System will then create an invoice image based on the received data. This part is working , we can find the invoice image in report archive but is there a way to set system up to automatically check this in to docman to invoice and posting proposal?
Hi, Does anyone know if it’s possible to set HR access so that person will be able to see all employees in the Present employees window without having access to all employees in time cards, employee records etc.I cannot find any specific access attribute for this window.We are on IFS10 upd 14 Regards,Anna
We need to keep track on when someone access our system with IFSAPP or IFSADMIN user.We created event on FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB and and it works fine when logging in as IFSAPP but for some reason there is no entry in this table when logging in with user IFSADMIN so event does not trigger on IFSADMIN user.Does anybody know what the reason for this could be??
We have around 10 sites all running in same database.All jobs like MS, MRP and CRP needs to be run daily due to our line of business.We now run in to issues that the “night window” is getting too small and jobs are not ready in time in the morning.Especially the CRP is taking very long time to run for some sites, up till 90 minutes.Does anybody know what is impacting the CRP execution time the most?Is it the number of workcenters in use, or the number of shoporder requisitions in the system (master schedules set to create sp for entire horizon) or a combination.Any advise on this would be appreciated.
Hi, As part of the monthly closing we are reconciliating GRNI report agains GL accounts.For all our 9 sites we have every month small or bigger differences in these.Have anyone figured out some easy way to reconcile these, there are so many transactions and therefor it’s difficult to find out where the differences come from. Any suggestion is welcome as this is something we have been struggeling with since start of IFS, fist in IFS 7.5 and now in IFS 10 upd3. Regards,Anna

When I preview a purchase order selecting en or de as language I get different overall line spacing on the pfd generated.When selecting en (english) as language the line spaceing is larger then when I select de (german).I use the same layout only selecting different language.I have no report rule that is formatting the layout.What else could format the pdf differently depending on language?
Hi, Anybody know where you can find back the supplier bank account a supplier payment was paid to?With payment method and payment address id I can go and check on supplier payment details but this could have changed in the meantime so would like to find the account used when payment was made (account included in payment file). If user have worked in company authorizing invoices it’s not possible to remove access to this company. The connection to invoice posting authorizer is preventing the removal of company access.The invoice posting authorizer cannot be removed once user have authorized invoices, here you can only phase use out by adding a valid until date.Is there a way around this to block access to this company for the user?In our system we have mulitple companies and as users move around between the companies this becomes an issue.
Hi,We have a report rule to force a certain layout to be used for specific site. This works well when printing one shoporder at a time.When printing multiple shop order by selecting many from the overview the report rule is ignored.My guess is that when printing mulitple system does not look in the files to check for the site.Also tried to add to the report rule current user and printed by but still the rule does not kick in.Is there a way to force specific layout in this case when printing multiple shop orders in one go? The other issue that some users do not get the print dialogue up at all when shop orders are printed and have no change to select the layout from there. Tried with full access and with clear profile but it still does not appear, not sure what could effect to this. Regards,Anna
Hi all, In one of our site’s mrp we have this error Error ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999, and not be 0 occurred while running Snapshot_Summary for Contract XXXDoes anybody know how to find what is causing this issue?Looked at CO lines, PO lines, MS, Shoporders but cannot find any with an invalide date and I guess error comes from some calculation including leadtimes etc.We are on IFS 10 UPD14
Hi, Set up event action on PDF_REPORT_CREATED to send mail for report Shipment delivery note.I thought the optin to send by email would become available on RMB from the shipment but this is not the case.On the shipment I have the receiver reference set to customer contact with mail address defined.This event works for other reports like purchase order and order confirmation.Should it work also for shipment delivery note? Does anyone have experience with incoming customer order that includes configuration data? Our part in IFS is setup with configuration and in the XML file we read in there is included both configuration details, configuration id and spec revision and it matches the data that we currently have in the system. For this part the configuration id and spec revision exist and is valid.Still when trying to create customer order we get error ORA-20110: ConfigurationSpec.NOSPECREV1: No released configuration specification revision found for the date.
Does anyone knowwhat needs to be granted for end user to be able to query the table created by migration load job, these tables are created with format IC_XXXX_TAB ?

Hi, We are about to start using time clock exe to register clockings in IFS.We user tags when clocking in terminal so objects are set to be card driven.For the objects START INDIRECT and STOP INDIRECT card driven option is not possible to checkWe do not use teams to clock on standard jobs but clocking is done by employee only. Employees have standard job definied but sometimes they need to change the job during the day. Is there some way to make also start and stop indirect card driven? Regards,Anna
In IFS 10 we have very often, during shorter or longer periods during the day, very bad performance in the shop order cost window. System is just hanging when trying to go from shoporder through RMB to shop order cost and user ends up killing the session.In the overview shoporder costs we have not issues as this data is being updated by the aggregate shoporder cost job but when going to shop order cost by RMB the same issue appear.The issue is the same regardless of the status of the shoporder (released, closed etc)We have not been able to figure out what is causing these performance issues, have anyone experienced the same issue?

Hi, In one of our companies they get error when running currency revalution for May period, error message says: Field [currency_amount] is mandatory for Currency Reval Detail and requires a value We have not see this before and cannot manage to find out where it comes from.Have anyone seen this before and can give us some indication on where to look and fix?We are on IFS10 upd 3 Regards,Anna
