Hi,I have created a report using instant_invoice_rep view with archive view but I need some fields from invoice view. I have added the invoice view and linked it from the instant_invoice_rep view to the invoice view using company and invoice_id and it works on my crystal developper part but when I call it from ifs it doesn’t work : the report is empty (i have added grant select to ifsprint on invoice view but the report is still empty...could you help me ?
Hi, The end point I am wanting to post to is expecting some custom values to be sent with a repeating element name of customfieldname and customfieldvalue. I have three to pass in this example. The XML structure in the log is correct. However the value for the ‘customfieldvalue’ is only picking up the quantity and placing that in the first customfieldname. <customfields> <customfield> <customfieldname>FSM_PART_NUMBER</customfieldname> <customfieldvalue>1.0000000000</customfieldvalue> </customfield> <customfield> <customfieldname>SUPPLIER_PART_NUMBER</customfieldname> <customfieldvalue /> </customfield>
How do you handle responses to/from users on Tasks? We don’t have the Advanced Event Monitoring license for our users, but we have many processes that involve sub tasks, such as a user termination workflow. When our workers process those tasks, they may try sending a message to the affected user for more info, etc. Of course, the affected user cannot respond to the ticket via AssystNet. How does your team handle this for those that do not have Advanced Event Monitoring enabled?

Hello everyone,I can’t find decent information about syntaxes to create visible condition in ifs report designer.My goal right now is to hide a field (charge_amount) when the value is negative (starting with ‘-’).There is also a second condition for this same field, which is core from ifs ivc reporttns:CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP/tns:INVOICE_TYPE = 'CUSTORDCRE'.My question is how do I do this ? Has any operators out there transferred an aircraft to another company and then tried to add it back to your fleet using the loader sheets and run into problems. We took the GDPR module in use in Apps9 and have used it with success. The challenge is making sure the data is solid before taking action. We had a custom quick report in use to see whose personal data would be handled (deleted or anonymized as per configs) and when. This report functions different now in Apps10 and needs to be remade.IFS core functionality for checking the situation beforehand was based on email notification in a way where one message per user per company per data entity (employee, person) per purpose was created. We tried it once and got over 2000 emails and do not want to use it ever again.What other verification methods are you using before the purges?`The aim is to make sure no premature deletions or anonymizations would be made and we’d like to see when and whose data gets handled. This is where the report is a nice way to do it, to have overall view at once whenever needed What other ways you are using? Does IFS Cloud have better core way than Apps9/10?
Hi Guys,I have the following table structure on the request screen. There’s a parent-child relationship between order lines and claims. These two custom tables are connected as follows, I can add/edit records to the claims section without an issue.Now, I need to add the claims table (c_po_line_claims) under the tasks tab of the same request screen. But this time the connection is made via different fields.For this I created an alias of the c_po_line_claims table and made the connection as following. The data is filtered correctly. But when I try to update a record (ex: change the amount and save), I get the following error. It’s trying to run an update on the alias table, which is not an actual table in the database. Hence the error.I guess I’m missing something trivial. Any clues?
We are updating from FSM 6 v16 to v26 and are currently regression testing. So much of it looks good except for one area - opening Repair Center screen times out.It doesn’t matter if the unit selected was already available before the version update or if the RMA was created after, the result is the same. We can search without issue, but clicking on an item to open the screen times it out.Opening a related task on the task screen is fine using the default repair center screen instead of their modified screen gets the same result I turned server log way up to see if it records anything, but I found nothing conclusive as the culprit.Has anyone seen this or have other suggestions on where I should continue my hunt for a solution?Any and all ideas are appreciatedGeoffrey
Dear IFS-Community,I got a 100% bad debt and declared it as well with the bad debt management.As you can see the bad debt is existing and IFS also says that there´s a “adjustment of value”I checked the posting control too and it works fine. My problem is, that I still have an open position / open item on the customer analysis:The 952€ are still an open item and are included in the customer´s balanceAnd furthermore the bad debt value is included in the balance to pay from the customer and also it´s present in my reportings.Is there any function I forgot to use so that the open position disappears correctly?Thank you very much in advance.Best regards,Frederic
Hello, Has anyone more detailed information on the full setup of the financial connector? I have done the setup to transfer Customer Invoices. I got to the point that the application messages are generated and xml files written to SFTP. What I don’t see is data in Transferred Customer Invoices Analysis screen. This makes me think the setup I did is not complete. I’d appreciate any feedback from anyone that worked with the Financial Connector before. User is trying to connect an equipment object to a document revision, whether object ID has period sign.Error raised and cannot connect the object.“Invalid use of data delimiter in object type EquipmentObject.If one of the values contains a period, you can use a comma, semicolon, or colon as a delimiter instead.” Question 1: Is there any specific reason as to why period sign needs to be avoided ? Question 2: Then as a workaround, if you connect the object using objects tab in the document revision form, object description is not displayed until you save the record. (However the object can be connected without getting the delimiter error).Is this something that should be corrected, so that user can see the description, before saving the record ? We are using IFS Cloud 23R2 SU4.When we use Repository ‘File Storage’, we have noticed that the file name uploaded to the Windows share repository appears to have been encrypted and differs from what was uploaded by the user.If we check through the application and look at the database tables, there is no mention of this file name.Previously using FTP repository in Apps 10, it would store the file with a name like 3001-2279139-1-REV00-1See below snip shows 1st record uploaded from Cloud (File Storage) vs others from Apps 10 (FTP): Do we know what is causing this and if this is a security feature that could be turned off?

Hi ,I am working in Apps 9 and I have a question regarding forecast consumption. There are no actual demand for this MSL1 part on 6th, 7th and 8th month. So how come the Forecast is consumed ? when scheduling a project, dependencies are created between activities. The most common type of dependency is finished to start, which means that the activity cannot start until the predecessor activity is finished. When scheduling the project, the system considers these dependencies to plan the start and finish dates of the activities. Notice that start date had not change after activity 3 May I kindly know if this is due to a basic data issue.Thank youUdanee
We have received a customer request to enlarge command button sizes within IFS Cloud. However, for Command Buttons, it is not currently possible to specify the size directly. It is designed to accommodate the content and ensure a proper fit in the user interface.It's noted that the customer prefers not to utilize the zoom functionality. Are there any alternative methods available to adjust command button sizes?
Hello to the communityI am trying to transfer to cost accounting the project postings but get the error “activity sequence number must have a value”. Do you by any chance know how i could get a default activity sequence number on my posting lines when the code part “project” depends on posting control and not preposting? The PRJT2 and PRJT6 are setup to have project according to employee category, but no sequence number is mapped on posting line, and the error comes from the fact that it does not have a value; i tried to exclude from project follow up the 2 accounts used in PRJT2/6 but then the project no longer comes from the posting control defined but is the same as preposting. If you have an idea on this matter, would be happy to discuss it with youThanksTanya
