In IFS FSM6u16 - From within Mobile Dashboard, when I right click on a user and select “Initialise Device”, how long does that initialise device request last for..

i.e. If I have mobile users who are not on shift but select to “Intialise Device”, how long does that request last for? Does it time out?

 

We may have a revision of the design and want to force an initialisation of the app for all users. Some users will be off shift or on annual leave. Will the request remain indefinately?

Can you tell via the Smart Client what version of Mobile Design (Not app version) that a particular mobile user is using?

The ‘INITSTARTED’ transaction type is sent to the mm_message_out table. If no process cleans records from that table, it will stay there until the user connects and syncs messages to the mobile client.

I am not aware of anyway knowing which design is used. What is the use case? You can control this on the design screen and decide which user gets which design and version.
