Hello, I need your help on the following.Some of our project have this type of setupFor each sales invoice,the system is calculating a preliminary cost of sales based on the contribution margin rate.We noticed that if we update the contribution margin the new rate is applying only to next preliminary cost of sales calculated when new invoices are issued and there is no catch up calculation for the previous preliminary cost of sales. Example :Period 1Contribution margin 25%Invoice 1 for 500 000preliminary COS : 375 000 Period 2 :update the contribution margin to 15%Invoice 2 for 400 000preliminary COS : 340 000 YTD situationSales 900 000COS 715 000Margin : 185 000 (20.55%) whereas we are expecting only 135 000 (15%) How to force the recalculation of the preliminary cost of sales generated on previous periods ? I am trying to update CUST_ORDER_TEMPLATE_LINE but am getting the error message ORA-20121: CustOrderTemplateLine.INSERT: Field [LINE_NO] in Cust Order Template Line may not be specified for new objects. How do I rectify this please ? I have also removed the field from the update but it is not creating any new records just updating the records.
I have created a new External File Template for ExtSuppInv file type , how do I now generate the template in an excel so I can fill in the necessary details, convert it to CSV and then import via the External File assistant ?
Hi all,Our customer wants to start using master scheduling level 1, level 0 & S&OP in IFS Cloud. However, in their product strategy there are many possible SKUs (colors, sizes) in a product group, which makes it difficult to forecast each item because many variants/items are only created to order.The question is whether anyone has experience with a work around or adjustment where the product forecast is initially defined at product group (intermediate) level to drive MRP & capacity load from there and where consumption is aggregated from item to group level.It is important to note that the customer does not use Configure to Order. A user has asked if there is a way to connect a new work order (raised through the MWO app) to an Project Activity via the MWO app. We occasionally have out of hours call outs to a site where we have an Project. The engineer will raise a work order on his device and the time will get booked to the work order accordingly. However, this office staff are unable to connect this work order to the relevant Project Activity the next morning (error message received). Our only solution is to create a new work order from the office, connect it to the Project Activity and then transfer the time over. We would like to avoid this extra work if possible.

When we save a business reporter generated file to a shared location it initially runs fine then users begin to get to see a message that looks like this: “The process cannot access the file:’Z:\Test Reports\business_reporter_example.xlsx’ bause it is being used by another process.” We have checked the file is not open and ensured the locations used are listed in the Trust center locations. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or have fix?

Despite work centers being hidden or deactivated, their names continue to appear on the chart. These centers no longer have capacity and there's no necessity for their visibility in this context. The External Voucher Assistant requires a Company to be entered. and the External File Template does not contain Company There was some chat that this was possible, but not sure if this was correct or before IFS CLoud.Cheers,Graham

I have a process that is creating Manual Customer Invoices, via the ManualCustomerInvoiceAssistant. As long as the client has the Auto-Post invoices turned off the process works. If it is turned on I get the error message "ORA-20110: ManualCustomerInvoiceAssistantHandling.USERGRPGLOSED: Period is Closed for the User!"If I include the Accounting Period and Year in the Create Virtual Invoice I get the error ORA-20121: ManCustInvoice.INSERT: Field [ACC_YEAR_INVOICE_DATE] in Man Cust Invoice may not be specified for new objects." Is it possible to use the ManualCustomerInvoiceAssistant APIS and have the Auto-post invoices enabled?Walter

Hi Team Greetings We have 2 MCPR transactions on which we are unable to transfer cost to customer company. When we create new transactions and transfer the cost on that projects everthing works fine.Only 2 transactions are stuck. We compared with other transactions which are working fine, everything looks fine with transactions in error. Still it gives error in background job as “Notice the background job has ended with an Error “No transactions to create cost accounting for ORA-20110: PrelInvoicePosting.NOACCTRANS” What can be the reason for it? Is it a bug?
I am new to IFS. I am trying to set up Customer Hierarchy relationships. Givent hat we have over 2000 customers that need to be mapped, it doesn’t seem feasible to manually enter them all. Is there an export template that can be utilized to map the relationship of the customer hierarchy, that can then be imported back in IFS?
Hi!Case:Direct Delivery orders CO + PO were done Customer Order lines were unpegged from the PO After that related Direct Delivery Purchase Order was closed with “register direct delivery” (and the supplier invoice was matched and paid) Now the Customer Order is hanging in status released (unpegged from the original closed PO). How to cancel the wrongly closed direct delivery PO? RMA from CO is not available since the order was unpegged. Nor can we do an RMA manually from scratch as the CO is not delivered.
Currently, we are looking for ways to consume PSO’s events as we are starting to see a ton happening daily. We would like an automated way of consuming these events as they are happening so we can categorize them (human error vs system) and trying to fix anything as quickly as we can. We have been told that Events can be consumed manually by downloading them from the Admin > Support or Admin > Events. Or their is an endpoint in the Restful gateway we could use, but querying them too frequently will have a performance impact. Could we have alternate methods for consuming System Events or Dataset Audits without impacting performance that be hit pretty frequently (every 5 or 10 or 15 mins)?

I have been working for several months to upgrade our databases from 12c to 19c, but I am stuck on a particular issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I chose the manual method (expdp/impdp) as this is what is endorsed by IFS and recommended by the consultants. Hi, in 23R2 the layout on Report Format and Output window is a bit updated and there is now a toggle under E-mail. I did some testing and an e-mail i sent to the adress in the field regardless if the “Send E-mail”-toggle is activated or not. Is this correct behavior? It is a bit confusing Thanks! BREmma
As there are many color/colour options in the PSO parameters that refer to Gantt chart colors, which specific one is it that is associated with the ‘selected’ option in picking a Resource/Shift (see image)?The gray of the selected Resource/shift row when you click on a Resource and then move the cursor to another Resource’s shift area the previously-highlighted gray looks so much like the shift color that it sometimes gets visually confused with someone having a shift when they don’t. We want to change this color so there’s no visual confusion between the selection color and shift colors. In the image, the selection row is the long grayed area after a Resource was selected and the cursor was moved off of that selection line, and the last two grayed items are actual shifts.We’ve experimented with changing various Gantt color options to bright pink so we can tell what was changed, but there are so many states we’re getting tired of guessing. Hello, I have created a handful of custom fields (type read-only) that I have included in operational reports. For example, I have balance due and customer PO fields on the collective invoice form. There is an issue where, if someone has a customer order that gets invoiced into a collective invoice, but changes their PO, when the collective invoice is first printed off originally, the PO comes up as the updated PO but the balance due is zero, even though the balance due is pulling the open amount. (SELECT OPEN_AMOUNT FROM LEDGER_ITEM_CU_DET_QRY WHERE LEDGER_ITEM_ID= :INVOICE_NO) When we reprint modified the collective invoice form, the PO gets changed to the old PO value and the balance due field becomes the correct, up to date, value. Has anyone encountered this before? Does anyone know what the correct approach is?
