Trip Tracker - Attach Photos to Mileage Claim

Is there a way to attach a Photo in Trip Tracker to a Mileage claim? We would like users to attach their fuel receipt when claiming Mileage, however to Photo option does not appear under the Mileage section. The photos option only seems to appear when entering an expense claim in the ‘Receipts’ section. As a work around we have created an Expense Code called ‘FUEL RECEIPTS’ and asked users to attach the claim using this expense code. Expense claims don’t allow 0 value lines so we ask them to enter 0.01. Allow we can default this line to non-reimbursable, it’s not ideal and could easily be avoided if we could add photos via the mileage entries.

Simple Migration Tool.xlsm - Error - Could not unlock memory location. Copy aborted.

Hi All, We have this unsupported tool (Simple Migration Tool.xlsm) and it works fine except for at one customer. They get the error “Could not unlock memory location. Copy aborted.” when hitting the Export button. Have you seen this error before? How did you solve this? MS Office installation is 365 ProPlus (same as what I have) the macro code bit is…'Unlock the memory. If GlobalUnlock(hGlobalMemory) <> 0 Then MsgBox "Could not unlock memory location. Copy aborted." Discrepancy Between Customer Schedule Forecast and MS

We’re importing Customer Schedule Forecasts into Master Scheduling. It’s working but I have a discrepancy I can’t account for. Customer Schedule Lines show a forecast between 2 customers for a total of 3456 Master Scheduling MS Level 1 Part shows a total forecast qty of 3434 Any ideas why these would differ?

Update Custom field using Event

Hi Community I have created a Persistent custom field in Sales Basic Data → Salesman to enter Sales manager of each salesman. I have created another custom field in Customer order → Misc Order info tab and I want to update Sales manager’s id into that custom field using an event. i created an event to achive that but i am getting no result. Customer order doesn’t fire any error too. Can you let me know where the issue is ? Set Due date customer Invoice to print date

Dear all,Is it possible to recalculate the due date of a customer invoice when it is printed?The due date of an invoice is based on the payment that attached to the customer.When a customer has a payment term that sets the due date to for example 30 days in the future the due date will be set on 31-8 when I create the invoice on 01-08.If I don’t print it that day but for example on 05-08 the due date stays on 31-08.Due to the agreement with the customer the due date must also be set to days after 05-08So 04-09 must be the new due date.How can that be done?

FSM 6 - Mapped Import with Descriptions vs. Code Values

Hi all, in FSM 6.5 Has anyone figured out how to create Import Maps for (Global/Metrix) Code Table controlled fields, where the user can import the description vs. the code_value? We are facing constant issues with users either not understanding that Code Values are needed, or simply not having access to the specific Code Values. We’ve previously compensated by creating Excel Import map templates, with dropdowns, but keeping those up-to-date with all the global code table values & descriptions is a large effort. Scheduling of Order Reports

HiWe are currently using IFS Apps 8 and would like to know if it is possible to schedule IFS Order Reports such as the Received - Not Yet Invoiced report as shown below: We are not so much interested in printing or producing the PDF of the report but just to facilitate the population of the REP table which is used for reporting purposes. Apps 8 Include Total Demand for a Part with MS Level 1 Forecast and Used on a Structure

My company has recently began to develop kits that include several items that are sold individually also. Demand for the kit is not driving down to the components.The kit part number has MS Level 1 forecast demand and customer order demand. Set up as G/30 with SS and Min Lot Size.The items used in the kit also have MS Level 1 forecast demand and customer order demand. Set up as G/30 with SS and Min Lot Size.The kit supply *shop orders* shows as demand on the kit component. The kit supply *shop order requisitions* does NOT. mWo Service 10 Receive and Issue

When we create a material requisition from mobile, the back office see’s the planned line. The back office wants to Manually Reserve and move the reservation with a transport task. IFS will do this. The created transport task can be seen from mobile under “Receive Reserved Parts”. When we try to receive and issue we get the following error:

DB_SWITCH_SESSION:Could not switch database proxy session to user [username]

Anybody had this error on the sync monitor in mWorkOrder? DB_SWITCH_SESSION:Could not switch database proxy session to user [username] Apparently the user’s account got locked prior to sending new transactions to IFS. Since then we have unlocked the account but we are still getting this error on the user’s sync monitor. Looking at the Sync Traces, data from IFS to mobile are working, but we have over 200+ queued transactions waiting to be sent from Mobile to IFS. We have run the query to check if they have the IFSSYS proxy user setup and they do. Any ideas for this error in mobile? Idle time on the Oracle profile is unlimited too.

CRITICAL WORK ORDER IN MPB

Hi, I’m using MPB to schedule work orders and the option priorize critical service is not working right. Does anyone know what logic IFS uses? E.g. Criticality and Priorite is considered by alphabetic asc order, or line number order, or another else? tks a lot.

Custom Form Primary Key

After creating a custom form, I am able to add records to the new Custom LU. However, when I add a new record, there is nothing that checks to see if that record already exists. As an example, my new form has a field called Project Name. If I add a new record, I want it to check to make sure that the project name does not already exist. Essentially, I want to designate the Project Name as the primary key. Is there a way to do this?

No data is being displayed when viewing Employee Self-Service payslip in normal IFS Client

When viewing payslip using Order Report and selecting Paylip Uk the payslip displays data however when viewing the payslip in Employee Self Service it uses Payslip Uk and the report opens up without displaying any data.Can you please advise as soon as possible

Create order proposal - background job runs forever

IFS10, UPD8 O&G Extension We are planning to start use the automatic ordering of spare parts based on demands on Work Tasks. To achieve this we have set the planning method to B on all inventory parts, parameters as per below. Now, we have scheduled the job Create Order Proposal for one site to run each night. The problem is that it runs forever: The job started yesterday morning at 01:00 is still running… Parameters in the scheduled task are set as per below. We want to create an order proposal for all demands on all parts on work tasks, which is the reason for entering % in the parameters. Questions: Why is the background job never finished?Is there a limit of how many parts the order proposal creation can handle? Any other limitation when it comes to demands, like planning horizon or similar?
